I think Kourtney is embarrassed a bit and she shouldn’t be. She said when Mason was born that she wanted to stay working and be a career mom. I think especially after having Penelope, she fell in love with being a stay at home mom and wants to do that but feels shame for that from mainly herself so she lashed out when she knows Kim is right in saying that she doesn’t “work” as much as her.

This is the cutest. Love seeing the girls bickering, teasing and loving on each other. That’s the reality of sisterhood. It’s a beautiful, messy, complex relationship that ebbs and flows.
Say what you want about their empire. But their bond is unbreakable.
I love Kourt. She's a Queen. Nothing to prove to anyone. She just knows her worth and doesn't feel the need to prove it to anyone which is why men fall in her lap.

My theory is that Kim still holds resentment towards Kourtney for those times when both Khloe and Kourtney would gang up on her. For some reason, she's forgiven Khloe who was equally as cruel to her (if not more) at times. Could be because Khloe seems to follow Kim around like a puppy now which she never used to and which Kourtney doesn't do. Now, Kim just always seems to have something to prove to Kourtney to show she isn't going to take her not agreeing with all she says or tolerate how Kourtney made her feel back then. All the passive aggressive digs, the fist fights- it's all pent up resentment from Kim about how Kourtney made her feel in the past and from Kourtney about how Kim has tried to turn the tables to be the aggressor. Kourtney clearly has some issues as well- she did seem to express enjoyment out of making Kim feel bad in the older episodes. Both Kim and Kourtney need to get some more serious counseling or help to deal with their feelings...
