    This is the first software synth I've ever used that actually sounds like an analog synth.

    2021. Monark is still one of the best interpretations / inspired by/ of the rich and warm voices of the Moog. Minus the daily maintenance and the rush of keeping it on a favorable temperature.

    I hope the creators of Monark consider developing more emulations of other synthesizers with the same quality and attention to detail.

    Best demo hands down. I’m a The Legend vst user but I’m buying this to see if I switch. Thx for the review bro 👍

    Great video! There is another Minimoog plugin called "The legend" from Synapse audio. I think it sounds damn good also but it's not necessarily "better" than Monark. I've been demoing the "The Legend" and it seems like a great companion to Monark because they each have their areas where one is better than the other. Arturia's MiniV, in my opinion, is the worst.

      I found that legend doesn't have the snappiness, punch, and doesn't sound as creamy and pleasant as Monark as well. By all means, do a side by side comparison, and see which one you like more. They definitely sound and behave differently. I don't think Legend has the snappiness of the original though, it's pretty obvious in sound demos of the real thing that it has a snap, and creaminess/organic-ness which rather resembles Monark, IMO.

    Bodzin also uses NI to stop his S37 going of tune. No joke he buys a £3600 Moog to use it as a midi.

    I am using Reaktor 6 with Logic Pro X. I have some issues hearing sound
    using the midi keyboard. Specially with the factory Library. I hear the
    sequencers, because I don't really need the keyboard. But when I load
    any Synthesizers I won't be able to use the midi keyboard. It is set to
    Omni port, I can see the signal when I press keys but no sound. I do
    have sound with Monark. It seems to happen with the factory library. I
    am trying to find the solution anywhere online. I am reading forum, and
    some says that Logic won't see the midi signal from Reaktor. Something
    like that. Like the solution would be to use an other DAW. Is it
    something familiar to you ? I would appreciate if you had any
    suggestions for that matter. Can you use any ensembles with Logic Pro X
    ?

      Try going into reaktor preferences and select your midi keyboard in the midi settings

    Does anyone know why sometimes certain Reaktor ensembles don't produce any sound via MIDI (while many others do)?

    • @TheSoundTestRoom
      @TheSoundTestRoom  8 лет назад +3

      +wrigna1 Sometimes you need to press the play button as some of the instruments and ensembles are sequencers rather than playable keys

    Where exactly do you get Reaktor 6 Monark?

    • @chakko007
      @chakko007 6 лет назад +1

      In Native Instruments' online shop, e.g. You don't need the full version of Reaktor to use Monark, the free Reaktor Players you can download from Native Instruments' site will do.

      But, if you buy only Reaktor, it means you don't need to buy Monark as well? Thank you for answering, by the way!

    • @TheGreenwood03
      @TheGreenwood03 8 лет назад +4

      oh sorry i get what you mean now. yeah monark only runs from reaktor so you need both, but you could just ger reaktor player (which is free) and buy monark and you'd be able to run it.

    • @kramnewton8683
      @kramnewton8683 7 лет назад

      do you know if you bought monark and ran reaktor player (free) if reaktor player would cut out every 15 min?(because it's the free version)

    • @moniker8054
      @moniker8054 6 лет назад

      Dunno if you figured it out, but I believe the demo limitation doesn't exist in NI's paid products, they should run on the player. In any case, it should be stated on Monark's page

      It's cpu load also isn't off the charts. Only downside to reaktor in general honestly
