There is a deck list on the side but if you didn't know, in this particular deck kripps plays the paladin quest.
Statetheobviouserino Kripperino thanks bro I was wondering what deck he was playing!
Statetheobviouserino Kripperino Still not sure what game this is . Is it Mario Kart ?
Statetheobviouserino Kripperino but what class is he using? I dont know, too much missing info
What's a Paladin?
Obvious instructions unclear, constructing MTG blue counter-spell deck.
Anyone else think that the Voraxx should count for 2 spells as far as the quest is concerned?
jmanmac10 that does make sense
true since priest can copy his minions to make them 1/1 too
priests does that cause the wording on the card is "summon". when voraxx does the double spellcast, the actual card is casting the spell, not the player. If it counted twice, that might be just a wee bit op
jmanmac10 I actually thought that was a thing, was very dissapointed
paladin need op right now lul
1:24
howww ?? , you´re the best !
Skipperino Kripperino how are you so fast?
Skipperino Kripperino Damn did not know you are famous xD
What special about it ?
DisguisederinoKripperino
Considering the difficulty involved in completing the quest Galvadon really isn't a consistently strong enough reward. One piece of hard removal, and you may as well not have put the Quest in your deck.
Its a very real possibility that your entire Quest reward gets hard countered by a snail.
Strappleberry Nifkin Give him stealth, windfury and attack and you have a definite OTK next turn.
Or you don't get that combination of effects (the more likely outcome) and its a big, forgettable lump. Its effect is neither continuous or reliably powerful compared to the other Quests.
Played against a quest paladin the other day who played galvadon on an empty board. He got to 15 attack with wind fury and divine shield. I then polymorphed it. He auto conceded.
Maybe snail is op :D
There is a 71 percent chance to get windfury AND stealth or shroud. Seems good enough to me
If this was a warlock card you could play me with mortal coil
4 mana draw a card lul
value Kappa
4 mana draw a card + discard a card without actually discarding a card p.s FeelsPurifyMan
Humongous Razorleaf purify combo tho
I have two of you in my Druid quest deck (summon five minions with 5+ attack).
I had a Priest use Mind Vision, get Magma Rager, play Magma Rager, thank me, and concede.
Blizz's next quest should be: make Paladin viable (without making it broken).
Yeah good luck with that
AbzOnline *Who am I? none of your buisness !!!* no, not again!!!!
6 mana 6/6, Battlecry: Gain all Adaptations.
they succeeded with Hunter
Better:
4 mana 7/7
Battlecry: Gain All Adaptations,
Plants from Deathratle get all adaptations too
Plants from their Deathratle also get all adaptations...
etc. etc...
buffs on vorash' 1/1 plant should count for the quest really. that's all they need to do :D
I feel like this quest should be 4 minions and Rogue should be 5/6 since they manage it so easily and consistently.
Same
Or 5 spells on any character ,not just friendly minion.
Consistently? Bad draw destroys the rogue quest. I've played vs several quest rogues and their quest completion was far from consistent. It's fine as is.
It varies. Sometimes rogue will be stuck with it untill even turn 8 or 10, sometimes they will complete it on turn 4,3 or even 2. It's super draw dependant.
Generally, just pressure it as much as you can - most run no Saps, so big edwin/other minion will do. Even if they manage to complete the quest, they will be far behind on health at that point and forced to play defensively.
I spent ALL day yesterday playtesting and refining my Paladin Quest deck and I found one that I absolutely love. This has become my favorite quest. I play it like a Midrange pally with an emphasis on buffs. You can even save the quest to use with Wild Pyromancer to deal 1 damage to all minions.
I think of Galvadon simply as a very powerful lategame card that I have to pay for on turn 1. He is not exactly a win-condition but is simply very powerful. If you try to make the deck have Galvadon your only chance of winning, you will likely lose. I usually get Galvadon around turn 8. Sometimes I win without ever completing the quest. I am playing around rank 9-10. My deck list:
PALLY CARDS
2x Adaptation
2x Blessing of wisdom
1x The Last Kaleidosaur
2x Equality
2x Blessing of Kings
2x Truesilver Champion
2x Spikeridged Steed (This card is insanely good vs aggro and arcane giant mage quest)
1x Sunkeeper Tarim (can buff eggs, patches, acolyte; also nerfs the rogue 5/5 minions)
1x Lay On Hands (can be cast on a minion when you are ahead to get a quest point)
1x Tirion Fordring
NEUTRAL CARDS
2x Runic egg
1x Patches the Pirate
2x Southsea Deckhand
2x Doomsayer (yes, doomsayer. And it is very useful)
2x Wild Pyromancer (Can clear the board with adaptation -> poisonous or equality)
2x Acolyte of Pain
2x Devilsaur egg
1x Gluttonous Ooze (Tech inclusion vs pirate warrior, can be swapped out)
Post the rest of your deck plz
I made a more aggressive version of this with 70% win rate.
This deck isn't an issue with me around!
They really should have made adapt so that it doesn't show effects you already have but dont stack, like don't show stealth when it already has stealth.
Krunschy this would have definitely made pally a lot stronger. Too bad the quest is "mediocre" compared to others ;(
yea its kind of bad if you've picked poisonous, stealth, liquid membrane already for example and then it offers those three. Too bad, you just lost one adapt..
who wan'ts a 5 mana 5/5 stealth with poisen and divine shield when you can have a 5 mana 8/8 windfurry (+ taunt divine shield stealth deathrattle can't be targeted your choice and non of those is also a option with 3x +1/1)
fiery claws x3, stealth, windfury is the ultimate 14/5 = 28 damage to face and easy lethal with another buff if no taunts
but sometimes you _want_ to pick the same one again
04:10 Giving it shroud and then trying to give it buffs... real pro there, Kripp xD
I remember Kripp saying The Vorrax is a crap card in his Un'Goro card preview. I guess he was wrong about that one...
el7griego well i love the voraxx but he his only strong in this deck so not really a strong card
el7griego I also find voraxx really slow unless you make your whole deck full of cheap buffs, which doesnt generally work well
when your 4 mana 3/3 with no protection doesn't get answered: OMG THIS CARD IS META CONFIRM
el7griego he's only strong in buff decks though maybe a buffafin deck
no need for a quest when you have me !
The paladin quest seems ok and kinda balanced...
But that's not enough in HS. If it ain't broken, then it doesn't see play xD Sad really.
Well grats you just described every singe online game ever? Why would you play ranked (Which is meant to be competetive and for winning), with cards that you know are only mediocre against other things that are way stronger?
Ak4ntor why should blizzard continue to make power creep and OP cards that don't take any skill to play shouldn't they strive to make a balanced game?
Normally they should, but just look at HS in general. OP shit is dominating all the time, and blizzard does bat shit to change any of that. Pirate Warrior, Jade Druid etc were such bs and were not changed for such a long time, and then the only nerf to pirates wasnt even that good.
And were back at it again. Mage quest that completely ignores the whole oppenent till he can one hit him, Rogue quest that kills you turn 5 with a board full of 5/5s, they just keep making such unbalanced stuff, and then they never touch it again.
They should make everything really good, so then that way, nothing is. Same logic as DOTA 2. Everyone in that game is OP, so in reality, no-one is. It works. But then again, Blizz want money, so they just make broken cards at the highest rarity so people will throw money at the game to pay for the opportunity to use easy cards and decks to beat people who don't want to throw money at it. It's dumb. :P
you're an idiot. if you are crying about everything being "broken" that that would mean the broken is balanced, and the what you call "ok and kinda balanced" would just be shit tier and underpowered
I died when he dried to buff the Galvadon
Totem that summons a murloc counts for Shaman quest, buffing the plant thingy to make a copy that gets buffed doesn't count for paladin quest. Bullshit.
Kripp it's probably worth mentioning that Wild Pyromancer is actually really sweet in this deck, cast adapt on him and get poisonous for instant board clear
3:51
Hey guys guess what?
It doesn't have Windfury.
4:48 Is that some water he's drinking? Keep it up, Kripp!
the thing that is cool with galvadon is this unique feeling while choosing his buffs, like a kazakus pot
Thanks for this video, I instantly crafted me a quest pala deck and even tho its not really good its very much fun to play and I am really glad that finally someone on youtube played quest pala
with megafin if you add 4 brewmasters and the 2 deathrattle spells, you could have up to an additional 60 random murlocs in a game
Given how blizzard likes making their cards, here is a new card.
'
A 4 mana 3/3 with, "At the start of your turn, destroy the enemy hero."
Llamad Mow but it is an Epic legendary and u can buy it for 500 Dollars
Llamad Mow to slow, you're dead on turn 4 Most of the time
8mana 1/1 battlecry win the game. Wouldn't even see play
1 mana 40/40 stealth windfury divine shield taunt that you always draw like a quest and has "Enemy cards cost 11"
hahaha so fck true that its sad xD
When Kripp tries to give his spell immune kaleidisaur taunt...oh man
Hey kip I added faceless manipulators to a similar deck and they are really good for when you get a big primal fin or you got the quest reward
I was running around with getaway kodo and the quest. Pretty neat
15:06 Kripp: "I could still die," he said forgetting he was hold a Silvermoon Portal which gives him lethal
I've realized that pally's quest is not that bad, as people saying about it.
The first version i've builded was an aggro murloc pally including some buffs and that was really good against most of the decks, especially against exodia mage.
And the second version, i've started - its just a a tipycal midrange (now in wild) with 7 buffs: double adaptation, double blessing of champions, double kings and 1 steed. It works really well too.
almost at 900k subscribers Kripperino!
3:58 made me jump out of the window dying of laughter.
I always thought the quest was gonna be "change the attack of X minions" makes alot more sense with the new legendary and aldors and would still work with most of the buffs
"I am the Voraxx, and I speak for the Pallies."
Ay Galvadon is alright he doesn't cost 3 mana he gets to live another day.
We need an Un'gororino Kripperino
Branbronzebeard + Galvadon
Adapt 10 times omg. Wild is gonna be so much fun.
gwanael34 still sucks
it could be fun in non ladder wild
Annnnnnnd Brawl'd
I tried it. Can barely even complete the quest. It's still bad and not even fun...
Thanatos *galvadon wins*
I love the way how krip says 'whaaat?'
I really like this deck, and I feel like it's a fair and well thought out one; but I'm a little sad because I was hoping to see him make a more control centric deck, mainly because I want to use dinosize, but it's often to slow and clunky against rogue decks.
Is it possible to fit this quest into a more conventional Healadin control deck? Forbidden Healing & Holy Light make progress towards the quest if used on minions and you could use Ivory Knight (or even that corrupted Mukla from WotOG) to potentially generate the buff spells you're not so happy to play in your deck (including Divine Strength & Hand of Protection in your deck has always been pretty weak, quest notwithstanding). Hell, even that new buff Spikeridged Steed comes off more as a control card than aggro/tempo.
I made a Wild-Quest-Mech-Buff-Paladin and it has seen moderate success. Mostly it's just a fun deck and that's why I play it often. When Kaleidosaur works, it's awesome!
Alternate win conditions? Yeah, I built a hunter quest deck and I usually win before I complete the quest and the matches that last long enough for me to get the quest i often lose, because the quests ability isn't enough for a comeback from a losing position usually. The exception being when I get the quest by turn 4, allowing me to drop the 5 cost 8/8. (this doesn't happen very often, lol)
I was playing a Menagerie paladin with a lot of buffs, but I don't have this quest or Voraxx. Seems like the quest would just hold the deck back though.
I've been running ye ol' kaleidoscope quest in Control Pally and it's actually done pretty well; Adaptation with Pyromancer can act as Equality 3 and 4 sometimes when you need them if you can roll poisonous... you have Ivory Knight for snaggin' Spikeridged Steeds and Dinosizes... you can also ditch Forbidden Healing for 0 on a Primalfin Champ for a trigger and then just get it right back- same with Humility. Since you have those you might as well run Kodos and Curator too which opens you up to Ysera, who can give you even more cards that target!... lol just hear me out
*ahem* I mean "bad card- should only have to target 1, literally unplayable"
I think is better you dont buy me at the first turn...
Patchesthepiraterino Kripperino SO TRUE
Patchesthepiraterino Kripperino LOL
I made a buff/murloc deck that got me to 13 but I don't actually have a the quest so I don't know if it would help or not.
I remember the rage in the twitch chat concerning his slurps and noisey chewing.
I agree with the people.
You need windfury and stealth (or at least spellproof). Usually causes ragequit.
I'm pretty sure the background for kripp in continuously getting pushed more into the wood. Soon it will be only the wooden background as Kripp slowly turns around entirely.
Can you do a video on voraxx? seems pretty broken.
Kinda awkward that the Voraxx's effect doesn't count towards the completion of the quest, since it seems like you cast the spell twice. But i see why, since it would be too easy to complete the quest otherwise
That Dex at 0:13.
You need to include that 1 drop that gains 1 HP every time you cast a spell.
If you have coin on start, you can cast it, coin, quest for a 2-3.
You can play it on turn 1, quest and buff it with some shitty 1 drop spell to make it a 3-5 for example with the divine strength one.
I've had so many games where it has won it for me. Insane.
Those chewing sounds at 3:45 are driving me insane...
Galvadon should have been: Have 5 adaptations of your choice.
There's no quest that can grant you my thiccness.
"At the bottom of that range is the Paladin quest."
Warlock: Hold my beer.
Please, do the same with quest druid...i think i need some insights to build this deck
Hey, this expansion actually looks fun! Not enough to reinstall HS but hey, there are some cool ideas.
Also, at first I thought there was a reference to the quest in Un'Goro where you help a paladin faight "dragons" and save the "princess"... But no, it's just a new game mechanic :p
Kripp please mąkę second channel wiem you upload your full arenas pls i dont wanna give money to thiefs od your content
This is actually a really smart idea.
+OnimaxBlade i am afraid that it won't happen either because Kripp has no time or just because he often uses his arenas to highlight certain cards and he may not want to upload them on yt because of that. What you think?
He probably has thought about it before and considered it. So it's either a maybe someday or a decided "No" after he thought about it a while.
Or watch the twitch vods?
Or maybe just use adblock on those videos?
Or maybe use another adblocking app to watch the videos?
+Cheaty Hotbeef Twitch vods?I watch kripp at tv where I don't know why all videos are being played not in full hd and because I got 50' tv I can't stand the bad quality that hurts my eyes.On tv I don't know any apps that block adds
just need to play this deck in wild, with seal and bran. suddenly it becomes a'lot more fun!
Kripp, if u decide not to take your quest, can a priest drakonid operative it? and then have multiple quests?
can you have them both active?
I'm convinced there's a competitive deck in here somewhere. Statistically Galvadon kills the opponent without being able to be interacted with more often than not so the only question is if someone can piece together a shell that gets there by turn 5-7 consistently without dying to other things.
when it's dead it's no longer adapted. some deep wisdom from kripp
general consensus: when the deck works, it can work really well
4:00 When he realised!!!
Thats why you never skip the Kripp.
What is this creature? Oh look! It's a paladin!
Voraxx is pretty alright in druid as well.
0:14 dex!
can you do this for warlock quest
how to counter quest miracle and druid use the legendary paladin card, set all minions to 3 3
How many fucking Kripp accounts are there lmaooo. Every day I see more and more
@kripparrian maybe try c'thun + quest + brewmaster druid
I created a 16k dust cost deck, based on paladin quest
The best is when they play galvadon and you devolve it
I crafted this quest the day it came out, don't regret it at all though, way more fun than thoughtlessly playing taunts or mimic pods and bouncing shit or whatever. The only other quests I'd say you actually you have to be a little smart to win with are mage and warlock, all three are about resource management and making sure you get your quest and play it at the right time, not just ASAP, with the exception of the warlock one which is actually just pretty hard to win with because you discard all your important shit.
John Dennis More decision making than that, but i catch your drift. Freeze mage has been a kick in the balls for galvadon a couple times, I'll tell you that, but at lower ranks the less experienced players aren't as good at saving their best answers, i speak from experience. Only lost to one quest mage so far, usually give them the high value steamroll with the scary buffs and whatnot.
WHY KRIPP?!
They should have just made the reward a 15/8 with stealth and windfury
I still think that the rogue quest should have been something else like steal 5 of your opponents cards. It just seems too easy and the pay off is way too good in my opinion
Why do you always play enhancement spells on Recruits? Because buff dudes get the gal(vadon.)
Im about to craft a quest, and i was thinking of crafting the rogue one because of how its dominating the meta now. Is this a right choice?
Kawhi Leonard I'd say to wait for the meta to settle and then craft what's most competitively viable.
Kawhi Leonard if you like rogue then yeah. I'm strictly f2p and didn't open it yet. I only have mage, priest and warlock so far. Rogue seems to be really strong
na rough quest is cancer and you lose your soul when you play this tier 2 deck taunt warrior is way more annyoing aswell requiers even less brain to play and build and you can tilt me with it so if you'r a casual player around rank 15-10 its your way to go :) otherwise play elemental Mage and or Shaman its the new dragon deck with less cancer :)
on rang 11 I only see quest warrior, rogue and mage so ya rogue is a good choice
depends on how much dust you feel you can part with, If you have small ammounts, wait until the meta settles and then decide. Rogue quest might not be viable when more fine tuned decks appear. It remains to be seen.
Opened it golden, should I disenchant?
I literally didnt think there was one haha, saw the title and immediately realised Paladin is a class
running down yo block it feels like a jungle
doggy at 0:14
Why no Brann for a Galvadon combo tho? Does it not work or what?
Jeremiah Noble rotated out
Am I the only one seeing Gordon Ramsays 4head on kripp's Head? I cant unsee this anymore :(
Played vs. this deck yesterday. Saved my equality + avenging wrath for quest. Lo and behold opponent immediately played and buffed galvadon the turn after he got it... He faffed about for 2 turns after but quit when I healed back to 30.
People try to play it like combo or aggro deck past quest completion, while this particular quest is value/attrition game with all the buffs and galvadon.
btw If you are annoyed by current quest decks try mage with secrets: potion of polymorph, counterspell, manabind and mirror entity produce hilarious results. Namely stealing rewards and providing co-co-com-bo breakers ;)
you need to run blessed champion to turn the quest reward into a 1 shot stratagy
I tried this deck on day one, made a sick galvadon (stealth, windfury, divine shield, +3 attack, and +1/+1) only to have the enemy priest mass dispel. felt bad man.
I wonder what yogg would be like in this deck
I got a golden version of this, should I keep it or dust it?
Jacob Collier eh. I love it but if it's golden it's worth disenchanting
I was distracted by doggo this video.
The Galvadonger finally did something.
0:15 Doggie Cameo
The worst thing that happened to the quest pali is the the wonder twins, who probably would have been the greatest cards for this deck, rotated right as this quest was made.
If Galvadon had some kind of very potent lingering benefit rather than being a giant windfury dude you need to kill your opponent with, but can get removed or taunted pretty easily, then it might be better.
Garrett Seno Not that easy to remove. And windfury helps with taunts.
Plasma Lycan Any taunting at all will stop Galvadon from killing your opponent, then they can just trade into him and you're fucked. He can get removed with Devolve and Brawl and Nether, sometimes Dragonfire if you dodge health and divine shield. Mages can freeze him with Blizzard or Nova, and they have an Ice Block up anyway so they don't even need to. It's just completely unlike the other quests, which are either a much more guaranteed but not as swift OTK (only Time Warp), or a lingering and very potent benefit (literally every other quest).
Devilsaur egg is op in the paly quest deck
My Paladin Quest deck usually wins without the Paladin quest going off. Turns out Control is still prrreeeeetty good. Even with garbage buff cards.
Very broken reward since the adapt feature nullifies itself when you cast the spell immunity on it. Cast it as the last adapt on galvadon and all he will have is immunity.
Maybe murloc/galvadon?
The main problem with this quest is that even among the quests, it is way too all in. You're reward is a single OP minion. That's it. And that's just not good enough. You build a whole deck around getting one inconsistent minion on the board and hope that wins.
Mmmmm ASMRinokripparino is needed methinks (3:40)
