One of the cons of Philadelphia is that they keep tearing down beautiful historical buildings to make boxy lego land type of buildings it’s taking away its original character. I want to move to NY because they keep their original look and I love the city life but it’s expensive as hell. I’ve seen a before and after photo of Philadelphia and the buildings they took down for the crap that is up now is mind blowing.
Please stop it with this stupid trend of saying, "I seen" in place of "I've seen" or "I have seen".
Old City still has a lot of late 18th/19th century buildings.

@@yvonneplant9434 yeah but it’s not a lot…. Have you seen before and afters? It had way more buildings similar all over. I’ve been to old city I can walk around it multiple times within an hour maybe less vs NY which has hours and hours and hours of these architectures to look at maybe days lol
You need to learn your city better. The public transportation system has the Broad street and the Market Frankford line. Plus the Regional Transit trains. Actually as someone like myself who is from Philly but lived in other cities, our transportation system is one of the best especially getting into the city from the suburbs

One thing that is also excellent in Philadelphia is the healthcare. Penn Medicine; Jefferson, CHOP, Wills Eye, etc. outstanding teaching hospitals. Also a very walkable city.
You can also get to atlantic city on the train….

Thanks a lot for the content! I learned something new, especially about traffic. And I totally get it, you describe your area comparing to neighboring states which makes sense, however I take Philli to comparison with European cities and consider it a potential destination to relocate to. So it was nice of you to mention the climate and seasons there. But I would be truly happy to learn even more about the city. Like for example there are comments down below pointing out the criminal situation and it's something I read in several sources. Is it really a big deal or not, because you didn't mention crime rates in your video as a con. For those of us who have children this is actually a crucial factor.
The highways that were planned back in the 50s were never built. The " blue route" is one that was built.
The crime is actually going down. It's better than 2022.
There are a lot of children who are living in the city. More than you would think. They're not from poor families either.
I live right next to William Penns house summer house in Montgomery county.
Why not mention the famous Devon horse show or renowned artists Andrew Wyeth and Thomas Eakins? 🤔

We left Manayunk after 15 years after the riots. I no longer felt safe taking Septa downtown. We went to KY where it’s literally two different worlds. So much happier now.
Why? Huh? Been living here my whole life. I’ve seen spirited protests and angry people with good reasons but no riots. What riots would those be? Hows the diversity in ky?

@@yvonneplant9434 thank you. I was like wtf?!? Just moved here a couple mo ago (manayunk) and love it so far. Close to fairmount park, decent nightlife, mix of people…. Except for philly wage tax it’s all good.
🙏 I left “killadelphia”. My mental health, the future/safety/education for my kids are better. Piss poor school system, angry people, the homicide rate is always at an astronomical number. Please don’t move there.
