Thanks dude! I wouldn't say it's difficult but make sure you're always up to date. Sometimes the workshops rely on last weeks work and if you missed out it could then add up. But all the best!
hi I am joining curtin soon can you tell which accommodation option is best? According to website the best look in and most expensive is kingfisher8-9 What do you suggest ?
theres like access points in the buildings so as long as you are within a few metres of a curtin building you’ll have access to the wifi with no issues!
I am not entirely sure if international students have full scholarships. I've seen several where they cover you 50% but you might have to check again. It also depends on which school/faculty you will be studying at. Best to have a look at scholarships.curtin.edu.au/
I am hoping to come to Curtin Uni in the July session in Bachelors of computing, cyber security major Do you have any idea what the Information Technology Department is like and study life will be like there ! Love your videos
thanks! and yes I've heard really good things about the cyber security major so I'm sure you'll be in good hands. I believe you'll be nested in 314 most of your days so enjoy the computer labs! From experience, the tutors from the IT department are super helpful and friendly, as long as you seek for help they are more than happy to assist you.
Hi. I'm planning to join for a Bachelor in Computing Major in Software Engineering this Feb session. How is your course going? How are the accommodation facilities and part time opportunities in Perth?
Nice video bro, I got offer to study master's of Computing at University of Curtin - Perth, is it really a good University to consider ? How's faculty, prospects, campus, etc?
Hi Namash, sorry for getting back to you so late. And to answer your question yeah! Curtin opens you up with project opportunities which is why I can say its got a good computing program and graduates.
Hi Rahul sorry for the delay! Yes theres a few new accomodations around campus, you've got St Cats and UniLodge Curtin (both was opened early this year). I've got friends staying at St Cats and I can say it's a very nice place to stay, rooms are a little small and it's only a few minutes walk away from your classes. My friends did mention they had half price if you go on a year lease but i'm not sure if its still available.
@@aren.awantha next year i want to apply for goverment scholarship (student exchange program), one of the choices is Curtin Univ, currently i am studying hard for improve my english, i hope i can do it, wish me luck : ). do you recommend me to choose curtin univ? hehe
Hi Aren, i really loved your video, I'm coming to Curtin University for coming intake to do my master's in food science and technology, by any chance do you know anyone who is doing this course? I search all over the internet but I couldn't find a single vlog about this particular course from curtin 😬, im really nervous, if you know anything about food science and technology from Curtin University please say something. THANK YOU buddy🫡
what a wonderful comment. i am also starting my masters in food science in about a month! i made friends with an alumni who is currently working in quality assurance in sydney (from india). i can connect him to you if you want.
@@ikz8439hey can you please tell if this course is very difficult or it has lots of maths in it and also how many days we have to go to university for attending the classes? Please 🙏🏻
Hello! it depends on the units you've chosen but the uni has classes from Mondays - Fridays with some exception for Saturday and Sunday classes (again depends on the degree)
Hi~Aren, I want to apply for the bachelor of nursing, but I heard the passing rate of this course is a little bit low in Curtin. Do you have any information? Awesome Vlog btw^^
Hi Ryan! first of all thanks for watching!! but in terms of nursing, i have very limited information about the course itself😢 I’ve got several friends doing nursing and they are all progressing with the course just fine. Your best bet is to come to Curtin’s open day and ask the nursing students themselves. Everyone will have their own opinions so don’t get too caught up! If you’re passionate with what you will be doing, no matter what happens you will enjoy it! At the end of the day its the work experience prior to uni (ie pracs for nursing) will be what employers look from you. The more you have the more likely you’ll be employed easier! sorry if I got carried away😂
Hi Ahmad, to be totally honest with you I won't be the greatest person to do the comparison :(. All I can say is curtin is very practical and hands on and if you prefer that study method maybe curtin is the way to go :)
I,didn't do well in my VCE when decided to move from. Melbourne to Perth so Curtin had rejected my Applications because of my Scores below average but then I apolied through an Agent starts from Curtin college onwards start from the Beginning to my 2nd) year in Single major Accounting : ( I was Dissapointed on myself that time,I wan to K!LL myself and Cried :(

Do you reckon passing accounting would be difficult here? I was planning to do it all online, as I'm in Sydney.
Thanks dude!
I wouldn't say it's difficult but make sure you're always up to date. Sometimes the workshops rely on last weeks work and if you missed out it could then add up. But all the best!
Sorry for the really late comment, but please I need to ask. Why choose curtin over UWA for computing?
No worries! I've just heard Curtin is more practical oriented and is less theory.
hi, can i know is the internet at curtin perth good or bad?
Hi Gilbert! the internet on campus is great! I can get about 50-80mpbs on speedtest.net
