      Hi Kay,
I am Aditya Gupta from India.
Ever since I took the first vacation out in the mountains with my parents, i have been in love with life. There so much more to the world than what we can see around everyday.
Since then, i had taken a lot of trips across the country but never had a chance and/or opportunity to travel outside India.
I love adventure, photography, nature, meeting new people and above all having a new experience.
I would be sincerely grateful to have an opportunity to explore the world with you bit by bit.
Looking forward to hear from you. You are an inspiration Kay, to many "wanting to be travelers" like myself.
      Thanks and cheers!

Taking a leap of faith is like jumping off a cliff and building your wings on the way down - but hey, who said adventure was for the faint of heart?
I've always believed in this philosophy and have always taken my leaps of faith whenever and wherever I got a chance to, but there are a few big ones that might explain why am I sharing this story here in your comment section. I took my first leap of faith in 2019 when I moved to the Netherlands from India, to study cars- the thing I was passionate about since the time I have memories in my head. It was more a leap of faith than a conscious decision because of the heavy finances involved and me not having that strong of a financial background. Going bank to bank, I secured the loan and set out on this adventure, in my first ever air travel, completely alone and clueless. But guess what? I managed it, I leaped and grew my wings on the way down.
My interest of photography goes back to when I was three or four, using an old dysfunctional Yashica film camera that my late grandfather used to own. It was my go-to toy and a lot of my childhood photos have me hanging that heavy camera on my neck or pretending to click a picture of my parents. But then I grew up and started to learn how to actually use a Kodak point and shoot, the only functioning camera my family used to own. I loved everything about the experience of clicking a picture from that very age, then be it the sound of the film whirring, the dazzle of the tiny flash or the haptic feedback of the shutter button. Time moved and so did I from the Kodak to my smartphone but deep down, I always wanted to own a professional camera.
The second leap of faith relevant to the story was when in November 2020, I saw an ad for a mint condition Canon EOS 77D on Marktplaats. Totally obsessed at that point, I knew I had to get it. I did not have even close to enough savings, but I just took the train to Nijmegen and bought that camera. Although that decision made me struggle on my finances for months to come and I had to cut down a lot on my grocery costs, I would say this leap of faith was more than worth it. Since the day I got the camera, I have tried to master the art of photography and videography at every opportunity I can. I could relive the experience of those old Yashica and Kodak friends of mine that had sparked this fire in me.
I started following you in June 2021 as a part of the first giveaway I ever participated, when you were getting rid of an extra Canon EF lens. Although I didn't get it, I found your profile, scrolling through which I would say has helped me learn more than a professional L-grade lens ever could. I have always appreciated your eye for detail and the art of storytelling that you possess. The color aesthetics you use are just a cherry on top. It would literally be a dream come true to actually learn from you and travel with you. I'm open to going anywhere, even a short day trip to the north of Netherlands haha, but my preference would be to travel to Japan. Japan was actually my first preference when I was applying for universities, because of their mastery in making the best mass-market cars and the overall cultural diversity that country offers. However things didn't go that well at the Universities there and I ended up here. Looking back, it was meant to be like this but Japan is still on the top of the places I would love to visit, only if I had the finances, however cutting down on even a year of groceries won't let me save enough for this one xD. I think Japan offers the perfect blend of traditional and modern, natural and urban; and more the diversity, more the stories a place has to tell. I would love to find out these stories and bring them to life with you as your understudy.
As a mere entry to a giveaway, it might seem like a small thing but for me this is yet another attempt at a leap of faith that has the potential to create a lasting impact on my life. I hope to join this adventure with you, to take this leap of faith and help each other grow the wings along the way down!
    -Milind

Hey Kay, my name's Fabian and I'm an Italian photographer & videographer. I don't even know where to start, but I will try keeping short on my story: when I was younger and still going to school, I struggled a lot at finding something that I really enjoyed. That burning passion for something that so many people around me had. The only thing I had was listening to music all day long, which was not really helpful for my introvert personality - but I didn't care then. Eventually I got into playing the guitar, and it was the first time that I could express myself - through art. A few years later I got my first camera, and I discovered the true passion for it and the beauty to express myself through this form of art. Oh I almost forgot: through my journey I got to know people like you (even just virtually), to whom i instantly connected. Since then I know exactly where I wanna go. I'm so grateful for everything I have learned till then and so thankful for people like you, inspiring and teaching me and so many people out there for everything that their heart & passion is burning for. Meeting you or even go on an adventure with you would be one of, if not THE biggest dream of mine. Exploring and traveling this beautiful place we call earth has always been my dream, together with someone I look up to the most.
I honestly have quite a long list of destinations and countries I always wanted to travel to. But I would love to go either to New Zealand or Japan next. Thank you for offering this incredible once in a lifetime chance for us and for being such an incredible human being 🙏
No matter who you choose, meeting you will always be one of my biggest dreams!
    Good luck everyone.

Hi Kay, I am Vung from Vietnam 🇻🇳 and this is my story and why I want to visit Iran 🇮🇷.
I grew up in a military family from Vietnam, listening to stories about the Vietnam War from my family and also have parents who work in the military. That means I could not travel abroad in anyway throughout my childhood due to my parents' travel restrictions working in the military, but that didn't stop me from finding a path for myself. I've always decided that when I grow up, I need to become the person I needed when I was younger. And this channel is one of the factors that helped shape who I am today.
Traveling was and always is a luxury for me, so the only way I can travel is through working my way to a scholarship. I tried my best throughout 12 years of formal education so that I could get a full-ride scholarship to study for college in the US. To prepare for this big step and make this dream financially possible, I've tried every different career as a child - waitress, English language tutor, content creator, service worker, internships. This year, I'm also taking a gap year between my sophomore and junior year to earn more for my expenses going to college - volunteering at the United Nations, doing podcasts and TV show production in Vietnam. To a lot of traditional Vietnamese families, this is an unacceptable behavior by disrupting my study, but I trust my heart and worked hard this year, while also educating more myself about the world, through watching your channel, reading about different countries, especially Iran.
Iran is one of the most sanctioned countries in the world, making it a hidden gem from most tourists. It is paradoxically one of the most unbelivable place with nature - Lut Desert, Damavand, Qeshm Island, Badab-e Surt are all wonders and some even UNESCO heritage sites. Culturally, Iran is going through a lot of changes, such as disagreements on a hijab mandate for girls. The country is undergoing through major changes that the eyes of the outsiders cannot see. As a curious person who also grew up with restrictions upon my shoulder that I couldn't really explain, I wish to see how people in Iran go by with their daily life, and to appreciate the natural gifts that Iran encloses from the world.
I was mesmerized by your video "There is no perfect life" and have been supporting since then - your bravery, appreciation for life, and the way you capture the essence of what it feels to be alive keep me motivated on my journey. This content is atypical of what I would see from my country in Vietnam. I'm grateful for the hard work you put out on this platform for free so all of us could enjoy. Take care and thank you for helping me becoming the person I needed when I was younger.
٩(◕‿◕)۶ Sincerely, thank you so much.

hey Vung.I just stumbled upon your comment and at fisrt I was surprised that Iran (my country) is your first choice. Not a lot of people know about the beautiful nature it has and as you said it really is a hidden gem. I am glad you are interested in visiting and know that you will feel welcomed right away in any time (even if it is during the revolution that is happening now, people are still very welcoming).Hopefully you get to go there one day and see all its beauty. Funny enough, Vietnam is on the top of my bucket list as well. it only took a few photos for me to fall in love with landscapes and beautiful nature. Also I know that it has ancient histroy and a rich culture. I recently learned that Vietnam is the second oldest country in the world after Iran so this explains alot. Best of luck to you :)

I'm yayo and I'm Mexican. I'm a Software Engineer, photographer and I want to be a Fillmaker. I met your videos while I was struggling with discovering what potential I have. At that time I was doing my Intership in Pakistan. I visited Kashmir, one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. Without planning too much I ended up spending 5 days visiting Egypt with my rommie and on my way back to Mexico I visited London for one night. In 3 months due to a crazy idea of going on exchange without knowing how I would pay for the whole trip my life has changed and the feeling of what else I can achieve has become a priority. I'm not lying to you that I'm afraid of losing that feeling now that I'm back, but I'm constantly looking for ways to not lose that focus and this would be very helpful.

My name is Raphaël, I'm soon 22 years old and in my 4th year of medical school in Belgium.
What stuck with me from this video was your mentality of making the most of our lives on this world by exploring it and eventually die knowing we lived our best life, I have this same mentality. This is also the reason why often doubt my studies, I honestly think I will finish them but I already know right now that I don't want to live the stereotypical "work first" life that usually comes after that.
(wave) Surfing is my passion and all of my travels had been centered around that but recently I fell in love with photo- and videography myself and as a result have begun to also love long hikes into the mountains. You have been an inspiration to me to continue to try to create better videos and color grading maybe you have already seen a few comments from me ;) I recently started uploading on RUclips and mainly Instagram but compared to your videos they still are quite "shit" haha (but I'm striving to get better!).
I'm very interested in the world, how everything works (from nature to man made stuff) or how we live our entire lives on a little blue ball inside an enormous universe, ... I love (most) animals a lot (fuck mosquitos). I could say a lot more things but I won't make this comment too long;).
I would love to explore the whole world more, every aspect of it so for me it doesn't really matter where the journey would be, ice cold, scorching hot or sky high on a volcano doesn't matter bring it on!
You can check out my instagram: @gyselraphael or @by_raph_ to get an impression of me or ask some questions if you want, you're welcome to drop a follow or a sub in the meantime as well of course ;p

Hey man! My name is William and from Montreal, Canada. I've always dreamed of travelling and adventuring but I've had a hard time taking the leap due to my contradicting goals. A part of me wants to become a millionaire entrepreneur, but another part of me wants to go on wild adventures and explore.
As I am nearing the end of my College (Cegep) life in Canada, I must now choose the next steps I want to take, and tbh.. I have very little clue. Embarking on this trip (to literally anywhere) would bring me new insight on what I want from life and the alternative career paths I could take moving forward.
I am not afraid of any physical challenges. I love hiking, camping, biking, running, and weight lifting, so you can count on me to match your pace!
Thank you so much for the perspectives and experiences you share from around the world. You are a great source of motivation behind my willingness to explore the unknown. Even if this comment gets lost, at least I know that I put myself out there.

Hey Kay, thanks for sharing your story - it touched me deeply!
I'm a 17 y.o. filmmaker and composer. I just dropped out of high school to live my dream - travel the world.
The school was safer, but I couldn't wait any longer. I have no idea what happens tomorrow, but there is true life in that uncertainty.
I decided to leave my country at the end of March. The first stop will be in Costa Rica - a country with the most beautiful nature and the happiest population in the world.
I spent most of my life locked at home, disconnected from nature. No wonder I was drowning in depression. Coming back to nature gave me immense mental clarity and helped me realize the simplicity of life. And I think it is super important to inspire people to start connecting with nature again - mainly in this day and age full of anxiety.
I was determined to make this trip happen, but I had no idea how...
Until I clicked on this video :)
But there are perhaps people who need this oppurtunity even more than me. So, I'm sure you will choose the best participant :)
Either way, I would love to join you on an adventure someday. I feel that community is the only way to change the world, and I would be honored to be part of the community you've created :)
    Thanks, and Pura Vida :)

Dear wanderer of the world @JustKay,
As a recent graduate, I've already taken a leap of faith and dived deep into the world of videography. But as much as I've enjoyed filming the weddings that have come my way, my heart and soul crave something greater - the challenge of uncharted territory, the thrill of capturing the untamed beauty that lies beyond our familiar horizons.
For me, the ultimate adventure isn't just about visiting any place - it's about exploring those that defy expectations, that evokes a sense of awe and wonder. I'm drawn to the landscapes that feel otherworldly, like a dreamscape of vibrant colors and surreal shapes. Places like Namibia, where the red dunes stretch for miles and the night sky is an ocean of stars. Or Ethiopia, where the Danakil Depression holds the surreal spectacle of boiling lava lakes and rainbow-colored sulphur springs. Or Madagascar, where the bizarre baobab trees tower over a landscape that seems frozen in time. Or Argentina, where the Iguazu Falls crash down in a spray of rainbows, or Peru, where the rugged terrain of the Andes Mountains is home to some of the world's most iconic archaeological sites. Or Nicaragua, where volcanoes rise from the earth, framed by shimmering lakes.
But it's not just about the destination - it's about the journey. I crave an adventure that will challenge me, that will push me to the brink of my limits and beyond. I want to explore the corners of the world that few have dared to tread, to capture the raw and unfiltered essence of each place in a way that only a true seeker of wonder can. With my skills, my gear, and my unbridled passion, I'm ready to answer the call of adventure and chase down every incredible moment that lies ahead.
So here I stand, eager and ready to join you on your next journey, to explore, to create, and to inspire. Take me with you, and together we'll discover the beauty that lies just beyond the edge of the map

    Hey,
I'm a freshman student at computer science. As a getaway from computing I go outdoors. Started my passion 5 years ago with climbing and mountain hiking. Ever since I'm in search for adventures and a year ago I also began caving and skiing which has been a blast.
But as a brother to seven siblings we never really traveled outside our home country, because it is simply too expensive for a family of that size. I was supposed to go around Europe in the 2020 but we all know what happened.
So as a person who loves outdoors one of my dream destinations is Iceland's breathtaking nature under northern lights.
I found you on just today watching random filmmakers and I have to say that you really do know how to make nature look as good as it is.
Wish you all the best in your future adventures!

And on this journey I've decided to start creating again. Today YT decided to recommend one of your videos (Sahara train) and I immediately got drawn in. Not just by your cinematic visuals, but the actual essence of your experience. I feel like your are authentically transporting a positive message and using your skills to enhance this message. Dear Kay, I just randomly stumbled across your video and it's everything - watching this might have just snapped me out of a long dark place I've been in and your style of cinematic storytelling feels like home to me. It's like finding a tribe in a stranger without even having planned to do so. I feel storytelling is that earthy raw essence that can really connect human beings on a primal level. It's magic being shared. Thank you Kay for sharing this. I know I want to see so many places in the world and for the longest time I only thought of fiction storytelling, but recently I feel a deeper calling towards finding, exploring and sharing the stories that are all around us. Those magic moments that are in plain sight and that are just as , if not even more cinematic and magical then any script could ever be. Life itself is pure magic. Again, Danke Kay. Watching this meant more to me than I think I can fathom at this moment.

    Everything happens for a reason.
Too many coincidences happened in my life, some beautiful, others almost tragic, for me not to believe in that. Even when I was reaching rock bottom, the thought that if I stayed true to myself, I'd get where I needed to go never left me. So, I waited, did the work, got my degree, and bought my time until I had no strings attached.
And to see you use the quote, "Go where you feel most alive" caught me by surprise because this is the year. It was only a matter of time, and now the moment is here. It's time to take the first plane out, see a different world, learn another language, meet people whom live in a whole other reality, and discover yourself. So, I hope you keep doing your thing Kay, keep living the dream. And I hope we'll see each other somewhere in this big blue world.

I am a new subscriber to your channel, JustKay, and I must say, your videos have left a lasting impact on me. As someone with a dream to travel to Japan and capture its cultural beauty through my camera lens, your content has inspired me to pursue my passion for travel videography.
Even as someone who travels alone and can be shy watching your 2020 video 'Travel to Indonesia | Cinematic Video' amazed me with the amount of effort and skills you have. I have always wanted to create such cinematic videos, but I often felt discouraged and low-key in my abilities. But your channel has given me the motivation to learn and grow, and I am excited to continue pushing myself to create stunning travel videos that showcase the beauty of the world.
While I may not have friends to travel with, I have learned that it is possible to capture the essence of a place even when alone. Your videos have taught me that the key is to have passion, dedication, and a willingness to learn. I must say, if I ever have the chance to travel with you, it would be an epic opportunity for me to learn from a true mentor. Watching your creativity in action and implementing it into my own videos would be an unforgettable experience. But even if we never get the chance to collaborate, I will continue to watch and learn from your videos, and I am excited to see where my journey in travel videography takes me.
Thank you for being a role model and for inspiring me to pursue my passion. Your impact on my life has been immense, and I hope to one day i am able to create videos that inspire others just as you have inspired me.
Remember, no dream is too big to pursue, and no challenge is too great to overcome. Keep pushing forward, and one day, you too can achieve greatness. Believe in yourself, and the world will open up to you.

Bro this video low key made me cry. It made me realize that this world is actually beautiful and that there's so much more to discover than the habitual routine we find ourselves in. I'm a 23 year old artist and content creator from Luxembourg. I recently quit my teaching job and now I'm kind of figuring out what the next step is. Outside of making music, there's nothing more I'd love to do right now than to travel the world.

    Hey Kay,
My name is Sid. Love from India 🇮🇳. I am into adventure travel and filmmaking. I do this as a side hustle along with my 9-5 job since a lot of family responsibilty and education loans on me.
As soon as i saw this video uploaded, i watched it with passion, took my notebook out and started noting down my reasons!
As a fellow world traveller and filmmaker, I've been captivated by your work and your passion for storytelling through film. Your ability to capture the essence of a place and its people has been an inspiration to me, and I share your belief in the power of travel to transform our lives.
Like you, I've also made the choice to escape the rat race of a corporate job and live life on my own terms. Through my travels, I've discovered the beauty of exploring the world in a meaningful and beautiful way, and I've been inspired to capture my journeys through film.
I would be honored to have the opportunity to travel with you and learn from your experiences. Any trip that you organize would be a dream come true for me and a big learning curve in my travel filmmaking career. It would also be a possible escape strategy from my 9-5 job here in India, and a chance to follow my passions and create meaningful content that inspires others to explore the world.
Thank you for your dedication to your craft and your commitment to telling powerful stories. I hope to have the opportunity to join you on a journey soon.
You can find more info and videos on my YT Channel.

I have always been passionate about traveling and discovering new cultures, and like you, I believe it opens our eyes and hearts to new things. Through my own travels, I have learned so much about the world and myself, and I am grateful for every opportunity to experience something new.
Winning a trip with you and your talented friends would be an absolute dream come true for me. I can't imagine a better way to see the world than through your eyes and your lens. Whether we end up exploring the colorful streets of Morocco or the serene landscapes of New Zealand, I know it will be an adventure of a lifetime. I don't have an incredible story like many others, I've lived and continue to live a humble life. The last decade I've cared for my Ill parents through the night, and return to work in the day working at the hospital. I remember a video on RUclips many years ago where someone said, 'live simply so others can simply live'.
I would be happy for anyone to win the trip, it's a beautiful gift that you are offering and will look forward to the video you create. Thank you for the inspiration, I always live and love vicariously through you and your videos.
If I were to get lost somewhere in the world, I dream of hiking in Hawaii. Even though I've never been I feel a connection there.

Hey, I'm Dhaval and I'm from INDIA. Currently I'm 18 years old, and just about to complete my high school. But I'm also a film maker, okay not exactly a film maker will justify what i do. I'm actually learning film making, and in this process i earned an international award in film making and a national one. Hailing from not so fulfilling family, I actually still don't have a lot of gears, not even a basic camera, I usually shoot with my phone. Also, i want to join you for this trip, because first of all, being fan of yours, the camera angles, shots, editing, grading and colour correction. There will be a lot of things to learn from you. Learning from someone like you, is like a guidance to success from an elder brother. Also, the narration you do, the emotion it shares is brilliant. And to be honest, I'm also an adventures person like you. It will be fun catching up, exchanging ideas and learning from each other. I look forward to your response. Lots of love from INDIA (one con. you might consider and may not take me for this trip be that I'm vegetarian) I hope it's not a deal breaker for us.

    Hi Kay,
I am a college student in my senior year as a media arts production major and minor in marketing at California Chico State. My career path is videography and I have always loved creating videos that are travel based. I haven't traveled a lot in my life. I am self-taught from youtube and the internet and drive myself crazy watching tutorials to constantly improve my craft. I want to be able to travel the world so that I can film amazing places and also gain experiences that will stick with me for a lifetime. I went to Hawaii 2 years ago and brought my Bmpcc 4k along capturing amazing shots of the landscape and people. This experience has left a huge impact on me as I really want to travel and film the world. My trip to Hawaii made me feel so alive and combining my love for travel and filming left me so energized and excited to live. Film is my one passion and thing in life that I feel I am great at and makes me excited about life.
This travel opportunity would not only be a great opportunity to start my travel videography career but would also be life-changing in experiencing the world outside of what I know. In terms of a destination, I've always wanted to go to Dubai or Africa. I've never been outside of the United States besides going to Mexico a couple of times so experiencing a different culture would be mind-blowing and life-changing. I have been a big fan of your work for a long time and I hope you consider me! Thanks, Thomas :)

    Dear Kay,
Hey Kay I was planning to take the same leap of faith as you did and travel the world on my own in 2020. I saved up for the travel and the gear and was ready to go in march 2020. Then Corona happened and I was stuck, just like you, I figure, in my home. So instead, I started my media studies, for the last 3 years I have been working hard on this and now I’m in the last year of my studies. Almost ready to try it again and to take that leap of faith, however, this time with more knowledge and confidence than before. Ready to discover the world. I hope I can learn and get inspired even more from your experiences and maybe this adventure. So I can adapt them in my filmmaking and fulfil this dream of mine.
I would love to go to Malaysia this was the country i was supposed to visit first in 2020. I love their culture however especially the nature and landscapes there are just breathtaking.
    Kind Regards,

    Hi Kay,
I am Khalikh, and I call myself a Grizzly and hence the channel name Grizzly Wanders.
I followed my passion to become an Animator and I became one. But I was unaware that there is more to life than just making a career. I realized that although I was satisfied with what I was doing, my whole perspective changed when I decided to go on a trek on my birthday in 2019. That one trip of walking in the mountains for 4 straight days, walking on the grasslands, crossing the river streams, drinking the cleanest waters from the mountains, and going through dense forests and frozen ice reminded me that this world that we live in is meant to be seen and experienced.
I decided to make a short RUclips video about it but then I made a teaser and then completely abandoned my channel right after that. I've been trying to get back to it but the fear of being judged and the anxiety that comes with it has stopped me from finishing it. I have a story to tell but I've been trying to figure out how to tell that story. I know for sure that I will make it somehow no matter what. But this video of yours just gave me hope that I could learn from you with this one trip of yours. It's important for me to get through these fears and share my story with the world so people with similar minds realize what I strongly believe in "This beautiful world is meant to be seen". I hope people realize that we need to stop living our lives in a rush and just halt for a moment and look at the beauty around us. I call this dream of mine "AWAY FROM THE RUSH". We live in a world that promotes the woke culture and makes us feel that it's all about the hustle and dedicating your life to achieve a career that you always wanted. While these may give a positive outcome to some but there are negative aspects as well. This kind of mindset makes us forget about all the things around us. I feel that career is not life, we tend to make it our life and then regret it when it's too late.
I would like to quote a few lines from the novel and movie "The Secret life of Walter Mitty" and it goes
"To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other, and to feel. That is the purpose of life" - James Thurber
To travel the world and go beyond your comfort and reach for experiences that many have not even thought of, to say yes to new experiences and to explore more, to embrace all these new experiences and to observe it, to find new relationships with other fellow human beings, and to feel all the experiences in your life is the purpose of life.
I am not sure about me getting selected for your trip. But I've poured my heart out on this comment. Even if one person reads this and realizes about life, I feel I've done something right in mine. If I did get selected for your trip, I would go anywhere with nature and specifically mountains as that is where my perspective of life changed and I found my own meaning of life. Thank you for sharing your story and inspiring me to tell mine. Hoping to see you someday down the line.
    With love,
    Grizz

Nothing is more inspiring than someone who takes the difficult route, someone who walks in the opposite direction of what is expected, someone who finds joy in the discomfort. Someone who seeks those few moments of feeling utterly alive. As a designer and aspiring DOP, I have recently started my own company, trying to push the boundaries and change the narrative for women in this industry. I would pack my bag right away, to travel somewhere new, someplace that is widely underrated like Mongolia, or Kirgistan and tell stories that have yet to be told! To discomfort, and to more life Kay.

    Hey Kay,
Thanks for the opportunity! You don’t have no idea how much you have inspired me. Your visuals and colour grading are totally insane! As a 21-year-old filmmaker from southern India, I've always wanted to pursue a career in movies or something creative. But my family wasn't that supportive.I managed to buy a camera and began creating content for ad films and weddings to make ends meet. Recently, I had the chance to work as a content creator for the first surfing organization in India, I was super excited because it was my first gig as a creator and I could learn surfing too! But on the 5th day, our boat capsized and I lost my camera. Despite this setback, I continued to create content with my phone and had some amazing experiences meeting new people and hearing their stories.
One thing that's at the top of my bucket list is to witness and experience snow, which only occurs in the northern region of India. I'm particularly interested in visiting the Kashmir region, where there's an extreme trek that I'd love to attempt. Some people say it's more beautiful than Switzerland, but I can't really judge since I've never been to either. I honestly believe that it is the journey that matters more than destination. I also hope to travel to the Uyuni Salt Flat in Bolivia, It looks like nature's own mirror and kinda reminds me of a snowy terrain. I'm all about pushing myself out of my comfort zone and into some wild adventures, so this trip would be the ultimate experience!
While I may not have the proper equipment to shoot at the moment, I can create with what I got. I believe that this would be a great opportunity to learn from you and hear your stories. I love putting myself in challenging situations, and I feel the same way about you. Whether or not I'm selected for this trip, I'm grateful for the opportunity and can't wait to see what you create with whoever is chosen. And if you ever visit India, I'd love to meet and learn from you! Cheers.

    Hey Kay,
First off I want to say thank you for yet another cinematic masterpiece. I can't think of anyone more talented that can show the beauty of this great planet like you.
My name is Yanni and I'm a 20 year old filmmaker based out of Chicago, IL. My dream is to become a freelance travel cinematographer who can help share stories from around the world. But I'll be honest... the support I have now was not always there.
After finishing high school, I thought I was set on following the pre-med track. My parents saw this as a valuable opportunity and a perfect path that could lead to a very successful and purpose driven career, however, I wasn't so certain. I began creating videos and short films not because I was assigned to, but because I actually wanted to. I felt happy when I created and the feeling of evoking emotion from my audience was something that I had never experienced before. When it came time to tell my parents though, it became almost impossible; I was afraid of what they would think.
When I told them, I was faced with the seven following words: "just also do business as a backup." I felt broken and as though I had failed without even trying. The pain hurt, yet nothing would compare to the amount I would soon feel just 6 months later.
In October of 2021, my hero, my father passed away. As I stood by his side on one of his last days, I couldn't help but feel numb. Near the end of the night, my father sat up from the hospital bed and mustered the last few breaths he had left in his lungs to use them to tell me to do what makes me happy. That moment has stayed with me ever since and now I know my purpose in creating.
In offering this incredible and once in a lifetime opportunity, I just want to say thank you Kay. You have no idea how much I appreciate just even being considered to enter this giveaway.
If chosen, my dream would be to travel to the Faroe Islands as that was the one place was father always dreamed of going to. To climb the mountains and experience the true nature and beauty of this amazing world would be the greatest gift I could ask for. And to travel with one of the greatest creatives working now would be a dream come true.
    Thank you for your consideration.
    Yanni E (20, Chicago)

The reason why a dream would become true if you’d pick me is simple - I love traveling!😍
I was able to see many different countries, like Italy, Poland, Egypt and the Dominican Republic.
I was pretty young since I visited the Dominican Republic but I do remember the beautiful landscape and the wholesome people there.
We drove through the jungle and jumped into a refreshing cavepool afterwards to clean of all the mud we catched trough the ride😅 awesome adventure!
I’d love to travel there again and jump in the cyan blue ocean with palms surrounding me 🌴
All got so expensive so my parents couldn’t afford it anymore to travel.
Even if I am not the lucky one you choose, you have to visit the Dominican Republic to see a tropical wonder.
    Cheers, Dennis from Germany ✌🏼

Unfortunately I haven’t got a lot of friends, and for those reasons I have the past few years wanted to see the world. Every. single. part of it. Every mountain, every culture, every person, and every animal.
Where do I want to go? Anywhere, but I have always wanted to see Japan.
The two reasons stopping me is money, and fear.

Around 2 years ago I was on a last minute plane ride to Alaska and as I sat staring out of the window I told myself I would do whatever it takes to get the skills to get paid to travel. After that trip I bought my dream camera, sony a7iii and the whole range of lenses and started learning off of youtube. Although I'm not getting paid to travel, my creative journey has allowed me to experience some insane moments and has brought me around the world. Hey Kay - My name is Dan. I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil but moved to the US at the age of 14. Although I've been creating videos since I was 12, traveling the world and recording it through my lenses has only recently become a passion of mine. There's something to be said about the thrill of waking up early in the morning to capture that one shot or having to cross a freezing-cold river to rescue the drone you crashed in Iceland or walking for 5 days across the Sand dunes in Northern Brazil. It's not just the art of videography/photography, but the feeling of being alive.
Connecting with like-minded individuals is a privilege. Something I've been focusing on more in recent years.
Your art is beautiful. From the cinematography to the editing, sounds, colors... and more recently, your storytelling, something I find myself trying to improve. It would be an honor not just to travel with you, but to actually get to know you and share this passion we have for this art, for the feeling of being alive. Where could we go? Namibia, Egypt, Turkey, East Asia... We'll find a way to have fun no matter where we are. If you would have the time, it would be amazing if you could take the time to peep at my latest work here on my channel. Shows you what my last year looked like.
Thank you for your time. Keep creating brother!

Hello Kay! Greetings from Indonesia! 🇲🇨 Hope this writing finds you in a good health wherever you are.
Let me start this by introducing myself first. My name is Faliq, originally from the capital city of Indonesia, Jakarta. I don't have any idea what I am going to write in this comment section but I'll try my best.
I am one of the government officer in Indonesia. Without any further explanation, I guess you have already known how my life is going. Most of my time, day by day from Monday to Friday, from 9-5, I dedicate myself in the office, doing (almost) the same thing. Specifically, I am a legal drafter, trapped and jailed in the same chair and desk facing all the square thing, like laptop, handphone, etc. Soo boring.
Even I said boring in the last paragraph, however I do really enjoy with what I'm doing right now, since this is the job I've been dreaming since high school. Lucky me, what I'm drafting is MoU written in English, so start from that, I could gain knowledge in learning English much better than before. Hence, as my daily basis I often use English, step by step I gain my confidence to speak and use English more and more, and of course practicing with native speaker.
On 2019, I challenge my self to go abroad and test my English capability. I took a loooong day off approximately 1 month to travel on a road trip start from Singapore to Viet Nam. Can you imagine for the first timer to experience that loooong journey? It was mixed feeling between happy, excited, anxious, and etc.
Without any unpleasant moment, I successfully completed that long journey. I bring home soo many lifetime memories such as stay on stranger apartment, taste new food I've never felt before, go through the border from one country to another, and soooo many memories I couldn't mention it one by one.
After 4 years I didn't go anywhere caused by the pandemic and also tight schedule of my working, my desire to take a loooong day out of my office is suddenly appear again right in my deepest heart. As I remember my journey back 4 years ago, I do really want to have an unforgettable journey wherever this feet gonna take me.
One place I would love to go and feel the ambience is Scandinavian Country. I don't know why I mention that region as my travel destination list, but as you might have already known that my country, Indonesia, belongs to developing country. Therefore, I am curious to feel how to live and mingle with local people and environment in developed country specifically in Europe continent.
If my dream comes true, that will be my first time to go outside of Asia 🥺 Until now, I don't have any idea how to live and survive there. But, I do believe in human's instinct, we will try our best to find the way to survive in whatever circumstances we're facing.
    Regards, Faliq 😉

Also, for quite a long time I have been fond of photography, video editing, snowboarding, and I love to draw.
This year I decided to get into music and video, so to speak, to launch mini ideas, for example, to travel and record my vision on camera for my tracks. and absolutely by chance stumbled upon this video I just wanted to go on this adventure, this is a really amazing idea that can give rise to more new ideas and thoughts.

It's really amazing how the Universe works. I'm about to turn 39 and - after having left a stable job in the Brazilian government to work as a therapist and try to help as many as I can - I was feeling that something was missing to bring more joy and the idea that life can be more to other people. Until I saw one of your videos. You are one of the guys who gave me another piece of the puzzle that is living. Now, I'm going back to study the filmmaking process (left school years ago). World needs this kind of hope and you are doing a great job. It would be an honor to be able to see the world through your eyes - and learn through your lenses. If it doesn't happen now, I'm sure we'll meet in the future. Keep bringing this level of reflection and inspiration to people. By the way, think about Amazon. Be able to show the mysteries and the preciousness of that magical place can be one in a lifetime experience. You and I and your friends would never be the same.

    Hey Kay,
This would really be a dream come true! I am a 27 years old Cyber Security Engineer from Romania, but my true love and passion is for travel. I’ve been watching your videos for some time now, and I am so impressed by your adventures and the stories you share. I love your editing style and your storytelling skills are out of this world.
I've already started a journey that I hope to be similar to yours. I've visited 21 countries so far, but my ultimate dream would be to see them all. I'm just starting my journey as a video creator, but I'm determined to make a go of it because travel is what I want to do for the rest of my life. That's why I feel like a trip with you would be a fantastic opportunity for me to learn from someone who's already living the dream.
I am mind blown by the landscapes and natural beauty that is in this world and I would love to see as much as possible from it. I’ve already seen from hot deserts to frozen paradises, marine beauty while diving in the sea to the northern lights high in the sky, but there is so much more to experience. I also like adrenaline activities and have been paragliding two times, I went skydiving once, and it was one of the most thrilling experiences of my life. Bungee jumping and wing walking are on my bucket list, and I am always ready to take on new adventures.
Although I am an introvert, I am a friendly and sociable person, and I am always trying to improve myself. I believe that this trip would be a perfect opportunity for me to step out of my comfort zone and do so while learning and exploring new destinations.
If we went on a trip together, I would love to visit Iceland or Nepal. Iceland has always fascinated me with its unique natural wonders and impressive landscapes. Nepal is another destination that has captured my heart for the same reasons, but also for the vibrant culture that I am passionate about.
Thank you for this amazing opportunity, it would be an honor and a dream come true for me to share this adventure with you.

Travelling and especially travel photography probably saved my life. Everyone will know this how you sometimes find yourselves in a rut, a daily routine that basically forces you to get depressive because you're not even controlling your own life, you feel stuck which automatically leaves you unsatisfied and leads to unhappiness. In 2022 I moved from Germany to the other side of the globe to Australia to see what the world has to offer somewhere else. My English was pretty bad at the start but I developed in so many senses and learned more than in ten years of school. Going on such a trip was one of the best decisions of my life so far and I'm the happiest I've ever been. So I recommend it to everyone, literally. Take that leap in faith my friends! Enjoy this one life we all got! Cheers

    Hi kay!
I’m a photographer and videographer from México living in Ireland. I started into photography 4 years ago in highschool as a hobby, but I developed some love for it and began to learn more by myself. A few months after that I won a photography competition in Mexico and that motivated me to pursue this hobby as a carreer, at the end of my highschool I began to like filmmaking as well so I decided to enter film school, but I dropped out after a few months because I didn’t feel it was teaching me what I really wanted and needed so I decided to keep studying by myself with online courses, after a year from that I decided to move to Ireland to find more opportunities because in Mexico it’s really hard to make a carreer out of that and I felt so stuck and demotivated, now here in Ireland things have been really hard as I’m stuck in a 9/5 while looking for small projects and jobs related to my craft until I’m able to make a living out of that.
I always loved to travel and to film stuff since I was a kid, I even asked for a gopro for like 3 christmas in a row until I got one to record my trips hahaha
I’ve been wanting to be able to travel with other filmmakers to learn so much, share my passion and surround myself with other creators for so long and this giveaway is just a dream. You’re one of the filmmakers and storytellers that I admire the most, I’ve been following you for a long time and I really hope this dream can come true!!
The place I’ve been wanting to visit the most recently is Madeira or Indonesia

Hey! Im 21, and I was in the same boat. I was going to follow in the footsteps to become a Nurse, the same as my mom but I eventually realized life is to short to live the “American dream” here in the United states.
Im currently working two full time jobs to cover the expenses of my travels around the world and decided a work travel, save, and repeat is the life I want to life until I feel satisfied with seeing the world. I dont know when that will be or if that day of settling down will ever come.
Most of my family doesn’t support this way of life Im trying to live but I want to show them that anything is possible and I have been manifesting to see the world for a long time now. Ever since I was a was a child Ive wanted to go across the seas and visit new places.
I have never seen the ocean or have been outside of the USA and my goal for this year is to make my dreams come true. I plan on going on a backpacking trip throughout Europe once I save up enough. Staying in hostels and using Eurorail! I even hope to get a little job out there so I could stay longer. But I have many, many other places in mind
    Best regards, Lucas :)

    Dear Kay,
I'm also a recent graduate, I picked up a camera halfway during my time in university and it has stuck with me ever since. I transferred schools and was going through a lot with the difficult course load that is engineering school. I moved to a new school knowing no one, and was cornered by my studies. When I picked up my camera I started off as a hobbyist, used it as a way to flex the creative side of my brain, get away from my studies, and to meet new people that share the same interest as me in photography/videography. From there it grew into shooting friends & family, which in turned grew even more into shooting for my university, and ultimately shooting for brands/companies on the side now. Currently I am active shooting and traveling the world in my free time, and still get the honor/privilege to explore photography everyday. My journey in photography/videography is relatively short like yours, within the past 4 years, but seeing what came out of the stressed out student makes me grateful for this artform/medium.

Dear Kay, I cannot express enough how much your videos have influenced my life. As a recent graduate from the University in Kenya, I have been an ardent follower of your work for the past two years. Your unique style of storytelling and your ability to capture the essence of each destination is awe-inspiring. Watching your videos has sparked a fire within me, igniting a strong desire to explore the world and create stunning cinematic videos of my own.
Your Tanzanian video was an absolute masterpiece! The way you showcased the beauty and day to day life of the Hadzabe tribe through breathtaking cinematography and storytelling was truly remarkable. It's evident that you have an eye for detail and a talent for capturing the essence of a place. I believe that Kenya would be a perfect fit for your next adventure. We have incredible natural landscapes, stunning wildlife, and a rich cultural heritage that is sure to leave you in awe.
I would be absolutely honored to travel with you and learn from your expertise. I believe that this opportunity would be a life-changing experience for me, allowing me to not only expand my knowledge of videography and storytelling but also to discover new cultures and make lifelong memories. Thank you for the incredible work that you do, and I hope to have the opportunity to travel with you soon!

You're such an inspiration dude, everytime I watch your videos I'm amazed on every single aspect, from colour grading to sound design and specially imagery. As a young creator, I've quickly developed a special taste for photography these few years. I can spend hours editing and not feeling the pass of time. You have always been someone I look up to in both aspects photography and videography. I value the creators that can really make me feel inspired.
Before entering university, I would love to take some time to travel the world and capture the beauty of nature through photography. I believe that this experience will be life-changing and invaluable. Traveling to new places and experiencing different cultures can broaden my perspective and give me new insights into the world around me. Additionally, photography is a passion of mine and a powerful tool to express myself. With photography I've learnt that being surrounded by 4 walls is not my way of learning. It's quite amazing how you make everything look amazing, and embrace the beauty of every single place you visit. The one that caught me the most was your video travelling around Mexico, you showed me places of my country that I did not even knew 😅. This motivated me to travel around Mexico and take advantage of all these amazing places we have here.
As somoene who lives on a small town, visiting places like such, is what I'm looking forward the most. Mountains have always been a big source of inspiration for me, and one dream place I'd like to visit are the Dolomites.

Hey Kay, Love the inspiration you bring into the world for filmmakers like me. I believe that story is everything. and that story matters because life is not about the destination.
The more you can make sense of your walking, what’s around you, who matters to you, and what to give your life to, the more you understand yourself and why you exist.
The destination, the answers, the growth that were told to do by the world lures us in with minute by minute offers nothing more than an aimless story offering a nihilistic arrival...
...if you ever really do arrive.
I believe that capturing our lives with film helps us stop the chase. To finally see that our story is already playing out around us. All we need to do is look.
    Cheers man.

Well, where to start. As I finished my university degree in business administration, I realized that it was not what my little self had always dreamed of.
Everything changed when I met you those days in Calafate. Unfortunately I couldn't stay camping in El Chalten with you because I had to go back and finish my last university exams. It has been a dagger in my heart since then, I would have preferred to stay those nights with you and finish university at another time. But on that trip I realized that it is possible to live from my passion as a filmmaker. Since then I have invested a lot in learning and in gear to make that dream come true.
Still struggling a bit with my parents who don't see a future in this and prefer me to work in a company as an accountant or administrator. Today I can say with great happiness that I am on the right track towards becoming a full-time filmmaker.
Lastly, where I would like to travel, I honestly don't know but any destination would be amazing just for sharing with you.
Thank you for inspiring and teaching us!

It’s been 6 years since I discovered my passion for filmmaking. Coming from humble beginnings I feel as if it’s my obligation to inspire people to follow their dreams and succeed. The only problem is that I took that leap of faith and quit my job 5 years ago, and due to surrounding circumstances it didn’t take me anywhere. Before I knew it I was back working in a retail store with a 2000$ credit card debt and a burning desire inside me to travel and tell stories. Ever since then I’ve been trying to work my way back, to take the leap of faith again. The opportunity to travel with you would definitely be a good way to kickstart that new chapter of my life. I would be excited to go anywhere where there is adventure 🫶

My name is Sofi, a 19 y.o. girl from Israel.
My first flight was when I moved to Israel from my native country (Ukraine). Then I realized that I wanted to explore even more countries, and I started working hard by opening my own pastry shop, and also trying to combine this with my studies. At some point, realized that I had forgotten about my dream and plunged completely into work. After it I closed the business, started studying a graphic designer while simultaneously studying the basics of video shooting. As soon as I graduated, I flew away. And since then I have been exploring the different countries.
Now I am working on a documentary about freediving, after finishing it I will fly to explore northern Italy. Therefore, I need to draw inspiration, which is what your channel helps me with😄You have wonderful works!
Speaking of the countries where I would like to go, I can immediately name all the existing countries of the world😅 I really like to get acquainted with new cultures, and since each is different from each other I am ready to fly to any) and if we talk about wishes for the near future, I would like to get to Japan, Thailand, Sri Lanka, South Africa or Portugal. I really want to explore and get acquainted with their culture and lifestyle.
Thank you even for just reading this!
Wish you successful projects and more interesting trips✈️

My name is Jason (NL/AUS) and I am always amazed by your cinematic videos and a true subscriber to your channel. It's not just me but I think everyone that loves making pictures and videos would like to learn from a pro. I moved out of the country 4 years ago to work on myself and start a better life in Australia. Now these days I work on a 14/14 roster and in my 14 days off, I travel wherever I can. My friends and family always love seeing me out and about and doing what I like. My goal is to share this not only with them but with the rest of the world that everything is possible with the right mindset (If you want something you get it).
My current mindset is focused on making those photos and videos but I am really struggling as a solo traveler. My fantasy is telling the story about a country as in culture, nature, and people. I have all the gear, but actually pressing that record button and clicking on that render button is a difficult thing especially when you are solo and have to learn everything from youtube. I would love to go on a trip with you and learn everything from (How to) filming, flying and editing where we can tell a story about a country.
If it's me or someone else, I'm so glad that you are doing this and giving someone the opportunity to learn from a pro. But I am ready for that amazing journey and that rollercoaster adventure with your team. I love traveling in Asia but the opportunity is beter then the place it self

    (Hey Kay 👋)
Just a little reminder to anyone who has dreams:
Chasing his dreams isn't an easy quest. If dreams are dreams it's because they are difficult to achieve and ask for a long and sinuous way to be reached. Unfortunately, I think most of the people consider this way as too hard and think they're not able to make it. But this limiting belief is actually the main reason why people doesn't manage to reach their dreams, above the pathway itself.
The first and most important step is to dare. To try. Yeah, you're gonna fail. Several times. But stay persistant, keep trying, keep experimenting, and you're gonna make it. If you never try, you'll never even have the opportunity to make it.
Considering this, I started to chase my dreams 1 year ago. I quit my well paid chemical engineer job to start working by my own as a freelance filmmaker. And now, at 23 yo, I've never been so close to the life I always dreamed to live. I trust the process, and we'll see what's next.
(Btw I would love to go to Sri Lanka or Philippines, but actually every place in this world is ok for me)
    + I'm french

After i finished my mandatory service I fell in love with the world of photography and decided that I want to continue traveling to see landscapes. I kept the bag but replaced my weapon with a camera, this time I will look through the lens of the camera and not through the scope.
I decided that I want to share with people in the world the beauty and good side that our planet has to offer.A message of free love and to show another way, a way that I really believe in.

    Hi Kay,
I want to thank you for being your authentic self and sharing your gift with the world. Your courage to face your fear and follow your heart inspires me to do the same and create my dream life.
I found your channel from your cinematic video of Bali and have been following your journey since then. You have a gift of capturing the essence of life and what it means to be truly alive through your lens and your fascinating storytelling. Every time I watch your video, I can feel every cell in my body dance with excitement. It reminds me just how grateful I am to be given the miracle of life, and at the same time, it pushes me to believe I can follow my heart too.
My name is Jasmin and I’m 33 years old living in Toronto, Canada. My travel journey started in 2017 when I decided to face my fear of travelling alone and embark on my first solo trip to Thailand. Funny how our mind works because as soon as I booked the flight, my mindset took a complete turn. I was no longer scared of the unknown. That first step gave me enough courage to realize I was ready to travel the world. It opened a new door of possibilities. It took me on a six-month journey to 16 countries and countless encounters with kind people and wonderful moments that opened my eyes and shaped who I am today.
This year I set an intention of trying everything my heart desires. One of them is to start a travel vlog. I want to show the world how blessed we are to be able to call Earth our home. I want to inspire people to take care of this beautiful planet so mankind can continue to thrive in bountiful nature. I want to encourage people to practice kindness by showing how much good there are in the world.
My dream adventure is to be in the presence of wildlife in its natural habitat in a place where nature is untouched. It would be a dream come true to witness the eerie quietness before a predator leaps for its prey, the vast landscape with only a piercing cry of an eagle, and a glimpse of Earth beaming with all sources of life. Lately I’ve also been having a yearning for going back to our roots and finding simple ways of living. Visiting a tribe and learning how they thrive through each day as they come together as a community to hunt and gather for their food would be an absolute treasure. I have a few places in mind where this dream can come true: Namibia, Kazakhstan, and Borneo.
If we embark on this expedition together, I promise you I will bring an abundance of pure joy and open-mindedness as I submerge myself into every experience with childlike curiosity. I have endless travel stories to share and not to bribe you, but I can bring real maple syrup and ketchup flavoured Lays chips (only available in Canada).
Regardless of who you choose, I’m sure it will be a life changing experience for anyone, and it fills me with love to see your desire to give back and share the magical wonders of life with your community. I hope to meet you in person through this incredible opportunity but if not, I hope our paths cross one day. Thank you for being you.
    Love,
    Jasmin (IG @jasminsymin)

Hey Kay, first of all, so nice and thoughtful of you to offer this one-time life opportunity. I'm Socra, 26 years and based in Canada and have been travelling since my 20s. I have been to the Caribbean, Hawaii, Pakistan, Oman, Borneo, Mauritius, etc. What passionate me the most is the amazing landscapes, unique experiences, beaches, hiking, natural wonders and drone videography. But what I love the most about travelling is approaching and learning new cultures and realizing that no matter where and how we grew up, no matter the social and political environment where we live in, no matter all the life experiences we encountered, at the end of the day we are all the same and we have been led to think the same and to feel the same feelings. So thank you for inspiring us to travel the world, and to open our eyes. I discovered you after your Mongolia adventure and have been following since and truly enjoying your work, and I have learnt so much from you already. Just understanding how to effectively use my drone gear, that you don't need to master difficult techniques, but that sometimes, just passing or flying over gives you the most powerful shots, while being the simplest. I would love going on an adventure with you and getting to know you better ! Depending on the season, we should have a wild adventure in Ethiopia, Madagascar, Kyrgyzstan or Laos But whoever you chose, have fun and a safe trip ! And you should definitely go to Gilgit Balistan ( Pakistna), you will love it so much.

A couple years ago i absolutely no idea about my direction with life, and i was pretty much completely lost.
just hoping i would stumble upon something that would set me straight and tell me what to do.
i was entirely addicted to social media and video games, foused on the material side of life and barely hung out with the friends i had at the time.
Thankfully after some out of country trip i had with a special group of friends, i had a sharp change in direction and i realized what was important for me in life, to see and experience anything and everything.
My father died when i was 2 years old, and i wish he would’ve been able to hear of my future plans to travel the world, and i hope that i can prove to him and to myself that i can achieve my dream.
one of my bucket list destinations is iceland, being able to see the Northen lights, the freezing landscape and the exotic scenery would be a dream come true.
Anyways, best of luck to you on your travels, love the videos, wish you a great life;)

wow, what a masterpiece, once again.
I have been following your channel for a long time. I did my education in multimedia and produced many videos in advertising. I love to travel and started there photography a long time ago, but knew I wanted to start making cinematic videos that tell a story. When traveling to new areas and also my home country, Switzerland, there are so many stories and wonderful landscapes. That's why I bought a drone several years ago. At that time I came across your videos, tried to grade like you. Later I got your luts and learned many things through your channel. For me you are the inspiration for so many videos I made. In this quality and such a good storytelling I haven't seen from anyone before.
Keep up the good work, with your talent you can go so far. Thank's a lot.

    Hey Kay,
So yeah, here I stand, in the middle of my bathroom. I just finished shaving when I stumbled upon your post here on RUclips.
'Dude, way you go! What a great way to literally share a journey with one of your followers.'
    I thought. 💭
'That would be cool, but there are plenty of worthy talented filmmakers in this community.'
Although with smaller steps, last year I chose to pursuit a filmmaking career as well and dream of combining that passion with travel, of which I got a taste of last summer in Sweden. 🇸🇪
In this journey I'm learning to take action, to claim life. You know, stuff like 'Life happens for you, not to you'.
So, there are no doubt a lot of amazing people in the comments here, but I'm taking action by commenting as well. Something the Jordy of a year ago wouldn't bother to.
I'm also a 25 year old Dutch filmmaker and would love to honor my savings accounts that is named 'New Zealand' for the past 9 years.
Thanks for igniting the same spark in me Kay ✨️

Just saw this video on my main page and instantly felt a need of clicking on it. Currently I am kinda struggling with thoughts about where I belong in this world and if I am doing everything I can to get the most of my life. The answer is no. I want to travel more. Stop feeling kinda "stuck" in the life I am currently living. Watching these travel videos light up a spark in me - as cheezy as it sounds. So yeah, I feel kinda inspired but I dont know where to start yet. But what I already know is, that I need to start at least somewhere - even if its just a little trip to the mountains ( god damn, I love mountains). Keep up the great work. Those shots are absolutely stunning.

    Hey Kay,
My name is Lucas Cullen and I am a 23 year old filmmaker and photographer. I seek out stories and moments that shift perspectives and create feelings that dives far beneath the surface.
A place I dream of visiting and filming in is Kabul, Afghanistan. Something that has always fascinated me most while traveling is putting myself in countries and situations that help me identify a new perspective; a new perspective on the country itself, the people in the country, and life in general. Afghanistan is a place that holds such a negative stereotype, but I want to see beneath that and try to help others understand the beauty of it through film and photography. That beauty that I am seeking is the people and their stories because behind every stereotype is the truth. I want to seek that truth in a place that pushes me beyond my comfort levels.
Thank you for giving someone an opportunity to discover a place in the world that helps them gain clarity and knowledge. Appreciate you :)

My name's Abe. I'm 23 and a full-time medical student in the U.S. I've loved cinematography and videography for a long time, but I was too afraid to start until I finally did in my last few years of college. I wish I did much earlier and gave myself significantly more time to explore this world before jumping into medicine.
I've watched your videos for a long time now and have seen your style and color grading especially evolve to a totally different level. Always excited to see what you produce, as it always moves me and gets me so excited to explore and experience our world.
I'm not sure what the next steps are for me, but I still want to give videography and cinematography all the love and energy I can, regardless of what I end up doing.
I would love to go somewhere where you really feel out there and have a chance to tell an incredible story. For example, Socotra, Papa New Guinea, Bhutan, Siberia, Madagascar, are all very high on my list to one day visit.
Looking forward to see whatever you do next, man.

I’ve met a traveler from an antique land…
    Kay,
I’m a photographer and filmmaker from France, the last couple of years, I’ve travelled across Italy and my country with friends, then on my own, creating stories, exploring cities, climbing cathedrals and high peaks, jumping off cliffs, swimming in the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, catching and cooking fish, discovering cultures, drawing people, learning Italian, keeping notes of wildlife.
Earth, in it’s entirety, is a precious gift we must protect. I’ve always been a wonderer of the world, the seas, it’s faune and flora, the landscapes of high mountains, the paths through deep caves under the surface, I explore earth with everything that life gave me, I enjoy trekking for 200km only with a bag and my gear, driving a car to a place where no-one can found me, to reach hidden place, camp, and see the stars on a deep dark night, as well as crossing borders on my motorbike in the summer with friends.
I’ve always looked up in the sky, asking myself what is our purpose here, on this planet, what is the importance of life, being alive, feeling alive. I want to explore it, to see it with my own eyes, to feel it in my body, because there’s more than just what I know there is, as the Swedish philosopher Soren Kierkegaard once said : « Life isn’t a problem to be solved but an experience to be lived. »
I live for the adventure. I enjoy the high heat of a wild summer, but also the coldest temperature of the sea, I’m an eternal learner of this planet we called home, discovering it, creating stories and things, learning everything, catching memories, making songs, singing next to friends in front of a fire, that is what life is all about.
I spend most of my days unleashing my true inner self, enjoying life rarest gift - which his searching and finding yourself - then connecting and sharing to others.
My hope for this journey his seeing things that startle us, to feel things we never felt before, to meet people with a different point of view.
We can go everywhere with our passion for this life, maybe we could follow the path of ancient tribes, feeling the sand of Sahara, learning new langage, meeting new people, sleep in the vast desert, maybe we can lost ourselves into the wildest region on Earth - Kamchatka -, or taking a deep dive in the clear water of Central America, documenting cuban lifestyle, or maybe taking a ship that takes us to the borders of human life… Everywhere, my curiosity and love have no limits.
Everything is temporary, you, me, the world. Nothing will last forever. We all are guest here.
I hope all our dreams come true in this short life, and I mean it, I live each day like it could be my last, that’s why I’m adventurous, bold and I savor it. Because it goes fast.
I know one thing, and that’s what I’m offering you. Once a person has decided to be themselves, they offer something no one else can give.
This crazy world awaits us. We can accomplish anything. And inspire others to do the same.
May I be your partner on this adventure.
PS : I don’t know my limits, do you know yours brother ?
    Let’s find out.

There’s still so many places I would like to explore: Madeira (thanks to your videos haha), multiple countries in Asia, South America (Guatamala is high on the list). Places I think would be super cool to explore, but I guess I need more adventurous friends for it hahaha. 😅 In the end it doesn’t really matter that much where you go. I recently graduated and I feel relieved but wish I stopped going earlier and really followed my dreams. I finished school with a Business of Fashion degree, but towards the end I just kept trying to figure out how I could actually make an impact.
Switzerland last summer really changed how I think and made me want to continue traveling. I just moved to the West Coast and have dedicated all my free time to learning how to edit and learn new skills with the camera. I know ideally id like to travel full time, I just haven't figured out how to make it a viable option just yet - but soon it will come, I know that. Id love to go to make South Africa my next trip.

    Hello Kay!
I'm Adam Lundstedt, a 22-year-old filmmaker hailing from the southern parts of Sweden. For the past two years, I've been serving as a soldier in the Swedish Airforce. However, deep down, I've always felt that my true calling lies elsewhere. My passion for filmmaking ignited two years ago when I purchased my first camera, and I've been hooked ever since. I've had the opportunity to film weddings and commercials for small, local businesses, but my ultimate dream is to embark on a travel filmmaking journey. Despite my yearning to take the leap of faith, I always seem to make excuses for why the timing isn't right or why something else needs to happen first, even though nothing is truly standing in my way.
If given the chance to join you on a trip, it could be the catalyst I need to embark on this journey with confidence. I'm positive that I will gain invaluable insights and have an unforgettable experience learning from you. Your work is a true inspiration, and I can't wait to see where your creativity takes us.
I'm thrilled at the prospect of visiting any location worldwide during our filmmaking journey. As someone who has yet to explore many destinations, I'm open to experiencing diverse cultures and lifestyles. My primary objective for this trip is to broaden my knowledge and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by people from different corners of the globe. I'm eager to immerse myself in the local communities, absorb their unique perspectives and learn from their struggles.
    Best regards, Adam Lundstedt

Choosing photography as a passion or profession can be an incredibly fulfilling and rewarding experience, especially if you also enjoy traveling. Photography allows you to capture the beauty of the world around you, whether it's the landscapes, people, or cultures you encounter on your travels. By exploring new places with your camera in hand, you can not only create beautiful images but also preserve memories and share your experiences with others. Additionally, traveling as a photographer can challenge you to think creatively and push your skills to the next level as you navigate unfamiliar environments and capture unique perspectives.

Hello Kay, my name is Chinny and I am from Australia. The place I would like to go to is Vietnam.
I was planning to go and travel this year but unfortunately recently got in an accident from a recent bushwalk hike where the rock fell and trapped my leg left where I couldn't move and was stuck in the middle of nowhere. I thought this was the end of my life but luckily I had reception on my phone and was saved by a rescue team that took me to a local hospital. Luckily there were no broken bones on my left leg and just muscle tears.
What I learnt from this near-death experience is you only have one opportunity in life and you never know when your time is up. If you have dreams and ambitions goals you should go after them. My dream is always to become a travel photographer and your videos have definitely inspired me to see the world and what it is through your own vision, it has inspired me to start travelling once my left leg has fully recovered.
What I realise is that there is more out there in the world to see and to experience such as the different cultures and the people who shape who you are. This near-death experience has taught me to go after the ambitious goal you want in life or the life you truly want because in life you never know when your time is going to be up
    Besides that Peace.

My name is Jakob, I'm from Denmark and 21 years old. I have been a viewer of your videos for multiple years now, and have really noticed how they have evolved. Your videos have transformed from being "standard" cinematic travel videos into something much more profound. They clearly have something to tell about the culture and places that they showcase. Your videos showcasing Tanzania, Jordan, and the Sahara are excellent examples of how to capture and share the unique cultures of the world without sacrificing beautiful shots.
It’s truly impressive how you skillfully blend stunning shots with creative storytelling.
This ties in with what intrigues me the most about the world we live in. Recently, after saving up for a couple of years, I had the opportunity to embark on a group trip through several countries including Japan, Fiji, Australia, and Vietnam. While the vast plains and beaches of Australia were undoubtedly breathtaking, it was the cultural diversity and unique experiences of the other three countries that captivated me the most. Vietnam, in particular, exceeded all of my expectations. It is a country that boasts a rich history and culture, amazing food, and awe-inspiring landscapes.
Although I am not a filmmaker quite yet, I have been refining my skills as a photographer for the past four years and never leave the house without my camera and drone - I have even had some paid shoots for the last year. The way in which you can use videos in a different way than photos, to tell stories is something that truly fascinates me and inspires me to learn.
In the past, New Zealand was always the first place that came to my mind when thinking dream destination. It is a location that offers a unique blend of fjords, plains, mountains, and beaches, all in one place. And it’s still at the top of my bucket list, that's for sure. My recent trip to Vietnam, however, was an eye-opener for me, and it made me realize that there is so much more to the world than pretty views. It made me want to see and learn much more about different cultures.
This is why Namibia has also become one of my dream destinations. The country is known for its diverse landscapes, ranging from deserts to mountains, and it is also home to a unique cultural heritage. Namibia, to me, is the perfect blend of adventure, nature, history, and culture.
Apart from these two destinations, Greenland is also intriguing. It is a part of the Kingdom of Denmark, yet it has such a different and unique culture of its own. With its vast open spaces, stunning landscapes, unique history and way-of-life, it is definitely worth a visit.
Finally, it would be a privilege to travel with and learn from you. It demonstrates how far you have come that you are able to share this experience with a lucky viewer.

    Dear Kay,
I don’t quite know where to start but I think that is precisely the essence of film making for me.
Film has lived in my very being since I can remember. Except when I was little I called it drawing. Shaping a world by way of my own hand and being able to manifest it to the physical world was everything to me.
As I grew older, a seed nestled in my mind. It grew with me, branching out into love for painting, writing and love of languages. At the time I was unaware that these were all echoes of what was to come.
It was not until 2 years ago, that all of these branches had grown into a deep rooted tree, and at the very top emerged filmmaking.
Through this entire process I moved three times and traveled to various countries in Europe in various different ways; from airplane to car, to campervan and more :)
Being back at my home base here in Portugal, I still feel myself longing to go back to travelling. With this thrilling deep love for what is the world of film making, I would love to venture out in the world!
The Venturer is actually a short film I made while being home, and there’s nothing more I’d love than to take that entity out into the world and broaden my horizons.
After all, film is the reflections of our experiences and perhaps those memories is where the real art lives ☺️
As for where I would like to go, I am all for extremes. Whether it is a vastly different landscape than what I am used to, or an entirely different culture I am all for it!
My interests lie in Asia, South America, Polynesia, countries with polar nights and midnight sunshine, and more :)

I‘m an 18 year old girl from Germany. This opportunity you give your community is amazing.
I want to travel the world because maybe in some years everything will have changed. There are so many beautiful and special places on this planet and so many different cultures and ways of living that are worth it to be explored.
I travelled with my parents since I was a little girl. We flew most of the time to greek-islands or traveled to the german coast. Before I was born my parents just booked a flight, rented a car and everyday surched for a place to stay for the night. When I was born they stopped, but I was sad about it because I wanted to go on vacation the way they did.
As we traveled together we always rented a car and drove through the surrounding of our hotels to see everything our destination had to offer.
One time at an greek-island my mom and I went into a little shop in a mountain-village and my dad waited outside. He met an nearly 100 year old nativ lady and she told him so much about her family and her live, even if my dad couldn’t understand what she said. This moments are just so special. Nearly everytime I travel we meet new people and talk to natives which gives my a new point of view about the world we visit. Their home!
I‘m starting to travel without my parents, but I dont have friends that want to travel the way I would like.
Your opportunity would be an amazing start to travel the world and to capture our unique home with a camera.
Some really interesting places to visit would be New Zealand, Canada or somewhere in South-America, but I would accompany you anywhere.
Thank you for reading and I‘m sure you will definitely choose the right person for this tip.
Also keep doing what you do. Your work is amazing!
