Great video! I agree that you have to remind yourself to speak slowly and clearly with the children and also allow them some thinking time for their responses without giving them another question instantly.
Pauses and slow speech is good advice for teachers of almost any age group. I also employ that tactic as a pastor. Unfortunately, I can't use nursery rhymes as often as a pastor (but the Bible is full of awesome stories/ redemptive history!).
Making comments instead of asking questions seems like an excellent tip.

As,ing questions helps them think for themselves. I agree in younger children but in pre school children it’s good to ask open ended questions.
