I took the name Rita for my Confirmation name after reading the lives of the Saints my mother’s middle name was Rita! As I grew older I realized that St Rita’s feast day May 22nd was the day I received my First Holy Communion. I have a plaque of St Rita kneeling when she received the mark of the thorn of Jesus. Also a friend went to the flee market and returned to work with a statue saying she saw it and thought of me ! It was a statue of St Rita and when I told her thank you for getting me this statue ! I painted her and took her to work to show the lady how beautiful St Rita was now! My life has been in alinement with the life of St Rita and I pray daily for everyone to know and love and serve God. I’m am very grateful for the opportunity God gave me by giving me my parents and family. I live to please God and pray I make it through the gates of heaven upon my death 🙏♥️🙏
