I got the Tri-clops and Trap-jaw at the same time. Trap jaw was the most popular figure but they just didn't have them in any stores at the time around 84 (Poll run internally, sample size :3 or 4 of my 7 year old friends). My friend got Tri-clops at a specific store and I was owed a birthday gift, so my grandmother brought me. Trap-jaw was right next to it. You have to understand: this was like the biggest Apple fanboy who was able to get the first iPhone 6 months before it was released.
@@RasheedGazzi-u5l dude, when I was 5, my real dad got me snake mountain, BattleCat, the robotic horse, and about 12 different figurines. A few months later, my mom said they got lost in the move. Pretty sure she threw them away because she didn't like my real dad anymore. I've never forgot that, and it both pisses me off and saddens me that my mom could be so petty.
I remember how he called Beast-Man a "Subhuman" and was going to turn him into a RUG. Skeletor intervened though because of all his henchmen Beast-Man's loyalty was like a dog and the rest of them the loyalty couldn't outweigh a shadow...
Tri-Klops was originally planned to be a good guy and was originally created as member of Heroic Warriors, but eventually by the time toyline came out wound up among Evil Warriors. Mattel basically switched him with Stratos, who was originally planned to be Evil Warrior, but ended up on the side of the good.
Wasn't a fan of Revelation, but I do like what they did with Tri-Klops, taking his own cultist leader role and herald of Hordak. Sadly, Klops is also one of the only real gripes I have with the Netflix CG show. Feel coulda done more, also whatever happened to its female host halfway through Season 3
While the mind-drone thing seemed interesting, it got old and boring fast. I always thought somehow, Tri-Klops would make a great nemesis for Ram Ma'am if done right. Maybe he would have something to do with the crash that killed her parents, maybe its her father, alive with amnesia and impaired vision, or just someone Krass ends up becoming enemies with, who knows? Still, Ram Ma'am is fast and strong and can strike from any angle, while Tri-Klops can see from every angle. He might need a few more powers, but feel free to imagine.
I really like Tri-Klops! He was one of my favorite villains in the line. I will admit, I didn't really like what Revelations did with the character. But everything can be a hit I guess.
To me if I was to have done Tri-klops in my idea for a He-man reboot i would've had him once as a great inventor and helped work on making new weapons for Randor fathers army but due to a Mishap with one of the weapons would've damage his eyes making him go blind forcing Randor father to Fire him due to his mishap feeling he was betray Keldor would offer him to join his force and would be fitted with his helmet but also using his blu-prints he ended up making his iconic visor that not only gave him a new sight but also allow him to use his three new ears to do new tasks
Great narration, but the video talks about "The Terror of Tri-Klops" mini-comic . . . fails to show any panels from that comic, and shows the modern "Icons of Evil" comic, instead.
so, what stopped you from using the ACTUAL mini-comic from the 1980s (especially when all the reprints are availble on line), when talking about his min comic Origins? and what's with mentioning him in the OG she-Ra cartoon, and you don't show it? thank Greyskull the 2002 series gave him respect.
Tri-Clops has now become a leader of a cult in He-Man: Revolation and I am not curtain of Skeletor's fate at the end of the series because I had seen a glimpse of She-Ra's enemy in the robot that was pumping with that goo that turned people into robots! I am PRAYING that She-Ra will appear in the next series of He-Man to aid her twin brother in a much bigger role!!! " For The Honor of Grey Skull, I Am She-Ra!!!"
Tri-Klops' real name was Dr Scope who with Dr Powers and Biff Beastman were part of Marlena Glenn's expedition team!! Pity this book "New Heroes of Eternia" is not made canon!!
Why does Teela have a woke Karen’s haircut???😂😂😂😂😂. Reminds me of South Park episode making fun of Disney “put a chick in it and make it ghey”😂😂😂😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's unfortunate that this genuinely fascinating character only got the recognition he deserved in a highly political and divisive adaptation that unlike the classic He-Man series, will be utterly forgotten in a few short years.
Really love Tri-Klops. Especially his vintage action figure.

What does ot meanwhen you say you were "owed" a birthday gift. Kinda sounds douchey
@@seansullivan7928 the only one that sounds douchey is you. JS

Sidenote: my two favorites were Stratos and Beastman. When I got those two figures; I was happy as could be.
Imagine waking up on your birthday to see Castle Greyskull sitting on the dining room table 😮

In He-Man Revelations, Tri-Klops was voice by Henry Rollins.
"excuse me. Could you hand me a dual Distavision seeing goggles?"
"Do…do you mean your binoculars?"
Awesome character a bounty hunter and master swordsman inventor powerful liked his figure
I remember how he called Beast-Man a "Subhuman" and was going to turn him into a RUG. Skeletor intervened though because of all his henchmen Beast-Man's loyalty was like a dog and the rest of them the loyalty couldn't outweigh a shadow...
He was awesome in the 2002 version

Between me and my 3 cousins. Growing up we had just about every figure. Even the castles.

They should do a series based on the backstories of every villain
Thanks 🙏
Wish we could have seen the backstory for the 2002 version in the show proper.
Please do Whiplash next.
First time knowing your channel doing He Man origins October 14 2022 .
Very good information on him, as a child I really liked this figure. Like his most recent character arc now.

Great Work
I’ve never noticed that until you mentioned it, about how the more commonly used a character is the more likely they get the same person voicing them
He was cool becuse be looked like a good guy. Was like the only human looking good guy.
Seems like a cool character. Also interesting and not surprising that See-more from Teen Titans look was influence from him.

Why is this figure so hard to find. Luckily I found him last night finally at a local store.
2002 show reveals twice the inside of triclops helmet
It shows his eyes are connected to the helmet with wires.
Only three eyes? Here I thought he had more. I blame that there is nearly 30 years ago I watched the cartoon.
Three is in his name. Triclops.
When I glanced at the video's thumbnail I thought it was Plankton from SpongeBob.

Do Whiplash from both He-man and Ironman
Fun fact:
Did you that He-Man is man with the first name of 'He'...who knew?
So he was a Muscle head running around with overly complicated special ops goggles?
Poor Fisto......his name is now dirty
To me, my he man
I am Bi clops cuz I have two eyes
Who would like to see a He-man Join the MCU.
Nope. Disney owns too much already.
What about other netflix version? It was original.
