I really enjoy the episodes that give more focus to side characters

Barry is easily the most fascinating of Steves friend group. While the others do have story that can drive an episode- Schmoolies family situation and honestly with Toshie besides the language barrier also family situation with his rich family... Er.. Well Barry also has a family situation that can drive episodes but his biggest quirk is that he is always on incredibly powrerful antipsychotic medicines. This is why he behaves so peculiarly and probably also why hes so overweight. The episodes where he misses a dose are really fun.
Also he is absolutely a pushover and thats probably heavily in part also to his medication.
Barry's parents are finally continuity characters. Yet this show killed of so many other potentials as well

I love how they are giving characters such as Berry, his parents, and Tuttle more personality and screen time.
They have to. So many characters were killed off or just don’t show up anymore. The cast of side characters is almost completely different from when it started now.

Honestly I was kinda disappointed Evil Barry didn’t make an appearance in this episode, they made a perfect set up for it too. The part where Barry’s body was twitching could have been his pills wearing off. Not to mention he spent three months in prison. WAY more than enough time for those pills to wear off.
You act as if medications aren't distributed in prison.

Barry did the right thing telling his parents and a restraining order was the right thing to do because Barry had the law on his side
In other words: Barry was still a pushover, realized by how much and went about doing the actual right thing and just slug the bastard.

I feel the take away prolly should be more along the lines of, standing up for yourself doesn't always mean raw aggression, bc there's always a chance it will bite you in the end with you getting in trouble (plus I think that IS standing up for yourself, although sluging it out may be the only option in some cases). Plus as much as I love Roger as a character, he's supposed to be an A hole most of the time, so I rarely put stock into everything he says personally lol.@@Musikmaker658
