Amitabh and Jaya were always my favorite actor and actress, and when I see this interview, I see their magic and charisma. No wonder they cast such a magic spell on people all over the world.
To all those who criticize Jaya Bachchan: Stop doing that. You guys have to know and respect this fact that she gave up her career when she was at her peak just so that her children did not suffer the absence of both their parents and wre brought up by maids. That's a true sacrifice. If today she is frustrated a bit, it's only because she could not realise her dream of being a star fully and that she has been living in the shadow of her husband since so many years.
Jaya was a better actor than amitabh but she loved him and gave it up to be the wife he wanted her to be. For an artiste it is a huge sacrifice. A normal person won't be able to fathom it. Amitabh, however, did not become an ideal husband. He fooled around with other women. can you imagine what it does to a wife to see her husband unfaithful? He did not leave jaya bcoz of his image and his parents who he truly reveres. He did not even respect the other women by acknowledging their presence. Shatru said he loved Reena Roy. @burhanur Jee bhai, Rashid Ashraf is speaking Urdu and so is Zia Mohiyuddin (Pakistani tv personalities) but both tried to pop in some Hindi like....when Rashid sahib said "Aap ka khair maqdam", he also said "Suaagat" which is the Hindi word for Khair maqdam. Other words where they exchanged Urdu for Hindi is: patni (aihliya, biwi), dhanevaad (shukria), sandesh (don´t know what it means), kaaran (vajah se)....etc. I guess they´re trying to be nice and adapt according to the guests.
