Policing is a weird thing. The cops will cower in fear when a man with a gun takes a classroom. But they will go guns out when a guy in a bathing suit pulls out…A cell phone!!! Then that officer will sit in an office and try to explain why she had to “keep people safe” from the scary man in the swimsuit… That whole “keep your hands out of your pockets” thing is the biggest load of cop bull-ish I have ever seen. What did she think he possibly had in his pocket? I could clearly see that he had nothing.
She was fired because she used deadly force as a behavior modification tool against an unarmed man who committed no crime. Some things brought up in the internal affairs interview. 1. She claimed he put his hands back into his pockets. No he did not. She pulled a gun out and threatened his life AFTER she knew he only had a phone in his pocket and never again did he go back into his pockets. 2. She claimed she feared for her life but never took cover behind either of the police vehicles between her and the suspect. 3. A towel laying on the ground behind him belonged to him. No officer including Guerrero bothered to lift up that towel to see what if anything was under it. In fact they never searched Ryan Gould. This is proof that they never feared he had a weapon. She threatened his life for no other reason than he was talking back to her.
Not only did she not take cover, she continue to advance toward him while screaming and pointing her weapon, not once even hesitating as if she was in fear. This was an unhinged display of power and nothing else.
They do that shit all the time. I literally am dealing with my own tyrant cop BS, mad because he wasn’t shown the respect he thinks he is entitled to, he even said that. He actually said that if our attitudes were more respectful he wouldn’t have gone the route he did. It was retaliation
If a cop can't even figure out who the victim is and who the perpetrator is, they shouldn't be a cop. Even worse, traumatizing and arresting the victim!
“I’ve been here for 20 years!” Whenever a cop says something like that, I always mentally translate that to “I’ve been getting away with violating people’s rights for years.”
This happens to blks all the time, that's why we learned a long time ago, only call if it's the last resort. If you're the victim and the other person is not blk, you will be arrested, or at least background checked.

Not that I agree with it, but it's historically been really hard to go after police pensions even in the most obvious cases. Even Derek Chauvin who murdered George Floyd had last I checked into it been able to hold onto his roughly million dollar pension fund.

Wow!!! I’m totally blown away. Did that guy really threaten everyone who criticizes the police??? This officer was clearly not threatened by this man. She obviously didn’t think he had a weapon or she would’ve searched him. I can’t believe they are backing this person. If they are backing her, it makes me seriously question how many worse officers there are in this department. Oops, I guess I’m now on their watch list…
Now you see why she felt so confident treating that man that way, and trying to falsely charge him and ruin his life. There’s never really consequences
She pulled a gun on, then cuffed and took an innocent victim to jail that she thought brandished a firearm. Once finding out he was the victim, the other officers politely gave the perp a written citation. She has no business being on the force. Also, I hope they confiscated the perps gun. He has no business owning such.
She didn't think he had brandished a firearm. If she thought for a moment that he was armed or any kind of threat then she would have taken cover, not continued to advance on him in the open, searched him once subdued, and searched the nearby pile of clothes he had. She was just upset that her demands and orders weren't being followed by a man that had no obligation to obey her.
Am I the only one that has a problem with that little terrorist threatening any American who speaks out against them? Everyone is talking about her what about him making threats
Not to mention the fact that it was taxpayers funding that paid for her union representation and the lawyers who represented the state. Now we are paying for lawyer's wages for a potentially lost civil suit. Million of taxpayer money wasted for a tyrannical thug. Then they act shocked as to why people want to defund the police.
If she was crying and losing her shit during the I.A. deposition that should tell you she is not emotionally capable of being a police officer patrolling the streets.
Ironically, she pulled a deadly weapon on a victim who called the police because someone brandished a gun at him. Responding to the cop's hostile demeanor in kind caused her to point a deadly weapon at him, falsely arrest him, falsely imprison him, etc. If pointing out the obvious elicits that type of reaction what would it take for her to shoot him? Looking at her cross-eyed? Objecting to the smell of fish on her breath?
@@garybohr9857 fish on her breath 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Yeah I could see her as the man in the lesbian relationship. I kind of feel bad for the officer who pulled his taser and now is in the lawsuit because he's like w.t.f. she pulled her gun, does she see something that I don't see? They are trained to back up their fellow officers ( like in the Sonya Massey case where the other officer pulled his weapon after his dirtbag partner did in that poor lady who was basically executed in my opinion) so I don't think he had time to process that she was losing her shit and overreacted. However I'm sure he had to know that she had a temper because I'm sure her reputation proceeded her. It seems like the public keeps finding out about bad officers lately and it's a damm shame because I respect law enforcement but it's getting harder every day to have that mentality when I keep seeing cops being horrible douchebags. The big question is how in de fuck did she get her job back after this encounter and her prior misconducts?
@@michaelpetersen6579 The rookie may have just been backing her up but he also included he was in no position to intervene so he just followed orders. That defense didn't fly at Nuremberg it shouldn't fly in the US. The department went through the motions to fire her because she'd gone viral and there was intense pressure to do something. Had they been serious they could have handed over the video and the IA interview to POST. Her license likely would have been revoked and the arbitrator/union wouldn't be able to get her job back.
@garybohr9857 but it literally makes no sense for her to be brought back in my opinion. She wouldn't have won an wrongful termination lawsuit so I don't see the reason why they caved and let her come back. You're right on on how the officer shouldn't have had her back but you gotta look at his perspective. The cops pretty much protect their own and if he would have intervened he's now marked for not having his fellow officers back and that might cost him his life one day. It's a double edged sword on that aspect because what she did was horribly wrong but it wasn't a lethal interaction. However before joining the force and during training you gotta know that an incident may arise where you have to intervene on a fellow officer if they are doing something illegal like violating peoples rights. But thinking what you're gonna do and what you actually do usually aren't the same. That officer was pretty much fucked if he did intervene or not i.m.o.
She’s scared of a guy in…swimming trunks. As soon as I heard the trial a few months ago, I figured the department would be like “you know who’s a great cop? Her!”
She caused her own negative attention. People who act the way she did, with so little ability to control their emotions from the beginning of ANY situation should NOT be a cop!!! Ever!!!

She see him, he sees her, he mutters something like "psyco pig", she is in fear of her life, draw a gun. The rest is history. And by the was she was following him and didnt activate her camera.
She is clearly unfit for the job. Not emotion control. Emotional manipulation. Instead of being re-hired she should get permanent ban from this type of work. What a corrupt arbitration!
Trying to get Political Conservatives of mine to realize that is difficult but getting there (Boomer generation is a bit special). I want a society with A LOT of cops but very very tempered with NO qualified immunity.

Yep, and that’s what makes this case so infuriating. No matter how much the victim wins, it’s at the expense of the taxpayers, and this sad excuse for a cop, is more than likely going to repeat her bad decision making.
Possibly. It's a difficult case due to all the elements but if I were a betting man, ya, they city will pay. Meaning, the tax payers will be screwed again.
@@AdderTude Indeed, but imagine he wins the lawsuit and gets awarded 100k. She will likely have to pay 1000$, and the rest will be paid by the taxpayers, and I'm sure they will find a way to re-imburse the 1000$ she had to pay herself through OT (that she will never do of course) or extra paid vacation days.
You have got to be kidding me!! . I would not trust her with a gun. I cannot believe that they rehired her after what she did and said about this poor guy. What probably will happen is she’s going to be on her best behavior and then go back to the way she was. People in that town better be careful.
Even if she looses her qualified immunity, the department will probably pick up the tab and that is passed on the taxpayers. There is no accountability or consequences for her corrupt behavior.
What is scary is that she is a loose cannon and is more than likely to not only to harm a citizen but also escalate a non situation into one and may actually put her own team at risk! She may end up being indirectly responsible for getting her own partner hurt or worse!

Then that officer will sit in an office and try to explain why she had to “keep people safe” from the scary man in the swimsuit…
That whole “keep your hands out of your pockets” thing is the biggest load of cop bull-ish I have ever seen.
Good morning!
They do that shit all the time. I literally am dealing with my own tyrant cop BS, mad because he wasn’t shown the respect he thinks he is entitled to, he even said that. He actually said that if our attitudes were more respectful he wouldn’t have gone the route he did. It was retaliation

They are trained to back up their fellow officers ( like in the Sonya Massey case where the other officer pulled his weapon after his dirtbag partner did in that poor lady who was basically executed in my opinion) so I don't think he had time to process that she was losing her shit and overreacted. However I'm sure he had to know that she had a temper because I'm sure her reputation proceeded her. It seems like the public keeps finding out about bad officers lately and it's a damm shame because I respect law enforcement but it's getting harder every day to have that mentality when I keep seeing cops being horrible douchebags.
