And she got the that from the same fans that feel Gaga sampling for Born This Way from Express Yourself as being reductive. I personal get Stephanie was doing it as an homage and paying tribute to Madge. But majority of folks who grew up in a generation where coming up with something original instead of sampling from someone else is considered “reductive”. And still is that way to this day
