First and foremost let me say I am so sorry for your loss. You know I understand how much that hurts. Second, thank you for translating those two videos, that must have been a laborious task, I truly appreciate it. The videos resinated with me as you can imagine, even though it has been over four years it is just like yesterday to me. I miss everything about my son, especially his hugs, he gave the best hugs ever. Thank you for your honesty and bravery, it takes courage to open yourself up like that. Love and peace
Thank you Michelle. I know what you are going through, even as in very different scenarios. It never leaves you, the grief. This is really the first time I've talked about this in years & it still haunts me. But it will get slightly better when time goes by. Not the grief, but accepting the grief. The task of translating & so forth took me a while, but this really had to be made. Love & peace
The "En ole mitään" video is just too much.
It destroyed me the first time I watched it, did it again the second time I watched it.
So, I just had to cover the video with a postcard this time to be able to watch this reaction. :D
I just wanted to see if it affects other people like it affected me.
What a powerful combination of video and music, maybe the most powerful I've seen.
It definitely has a crushing effect to me, like you saw. They are masters of that kind of sound. Always breaks me when the Girl leaves for the last time.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Tony. Thank you for sharing your emotions with us, and I hope that in doing so, you find some catharsis and healing. And thank you for introducing us to this music, which I, for one, would have never heard otherwise (anyone else find it reminiscent of Opeth?). Remember, your son loves you and needs you (though at 13 I'm sure he doesn't always act like it), which makes this healing journey you are on even more important. I know the grief will never go away entirely, and sometimes it will come back and hit you out of the blue when you least expect it. But, over time, it will lessen, and those moments will get fewer and farther between. That's part of being human. But expressing that grief is healthy and good. Love and peace to you, my friend.
Thank you. Yes it has gotten easier to accept through the years, eventhough I hardly never talk about it. Its still the only death in my family I can remember. Glad I could introduce you to new music though :) Yeah there is something similar to Opeth for sure. And yes, my son is my priority as is should be. It is time to give him the best start in life possible :) Thank you my friend!

I wished as soon as I saw your raw emotions and your lip synch to the lyrics, that I could understand finnish like a native speaking person.
The songs themselves are really strong but I don't think that you can ever archive the understanding of the lyrics of native speakers... Thats saddens me.
But nonetheless, with the lyrics and the understanding, the band will be definitely explored by me!
Yeah you cant translate the emotional aspect unfortunality. Like emphasizing certain tones & words finnish do alot. The band is still great, glad I could atleast spark your interest :) Thanks!
