Keifer - the one with the long hair, is the consummate performer, nothing throws him he just sings his heart out. Francis, your spirit animal, is the funny one, wicked sense of humor, loves to perform and make the other guys laugh. Mackie, is the fashion plate, has great style and is the is the one all they girls crush on. Combined, they are unstoppable. These young men have skills and beauty in their voices that exhibits a gift that one can't be taught. It is an innate gift that has been nurtures by excellent coaching and training. This is exceptional. What a Zeitgeist vision of what most singers wished that they could have in their later years. They have more than an internal smile...they have an illuminated resonance that can't be taught..it is effortless. I love that they brought in the 1st-Nation Heritage Languages...that is powerful and changes the narrative. When we were forced to speak Spanish and English...we were taken out of our Heritage essence. Loosing Language culturally is what colonization does to us 1st-Nation People. This is beauty...I am crying for Our collective 1st-Nation Indigenous people...Prior to the evasion of our heritage-lands and with brutal colonization that silenced our 1st-Nation Roots in our "Mixed Voices" ...Reclaim language is an act of modern day "Subversion" I love this power in these young men. Power in the voice. Now I have to learn my language as well..I have lost my voice when singing in English. Stopping now.

    1. Glad I found your channel, I’m loving your reactions so far. I know I’m 7 months late and I just found your channel, but I’ve been spiraling down the TNT Boys binge on RUclips and rewatching all their videos over and over and over again for the paste 4 weeks. From watching all their Filipino appearances and interviews, I got super interested in learning Tagalog. The app that I use to learn languages in general is called Mango Languages. So far I’m able to at least greet my filipino friends and their family properly. The app is really good and helped me learn Haitian Creole as well. Hope you catch this comment even though this is an old video!

Hi! To be honest, I like your comments about the TNT boys. I was even enjoying while watching you...but suddenly, in the midst of it, I was totally surprised and disappointed. Knowing that you are a pure Filipino by blood...and not knowing even a little or a single word of your roots' language is a form of hypocrisy. While thousands of foreign people from western countries are open and learn the Tagalog and even Bisaya languages. Is that a personal choice? Still is not an excuse. Well, there's always a room for learning. As your kababayan, working abroad, I encourage you to LEARN and open your heart to EMBRACE and love the Filipino/Tagalog/Ilonggo languages, your origin. I will salute you if in time you can do it. Come to think of it, dude!

Hi there, kasimanwa (me being from the sister city of Bacolod's, Iloilo)! That song (Ili-Ili or Rockabye) is from the Western Visayas, where the language Hiligaynon is spoken. If you have the time, search for it on youtube.
"Ili-ili"(Rockabye) is a lullaby mostly sung softly and also sung by choirs. I was so lucky to have been put to sleep by my grandma with this enchanting song.
Ili-ili tulog anay, wala diri imong nanay

They said that this is the song that they wanted to performed in TWB however the production change it to flashlight (shorter version.) 😑 The song is actually an ilonggo lullaby. 😁

Just so you'd know, They are singing in Ilonggo!!! The mashed up part of the song was an excerpt from a traditional lullaby. Filipino pride!!!!

I found it funny when the boys switched up to "Ili-Ili" and you said that you can't speak a lick of Tagalog, and that your family is from Bacolod but you also don't speak Ilonggo. Only, now, to find out that "Ili-Ili" is an Ilonggo lullaby. Hehehe. 😝😜

I feel sorry for his parents to not teach their child their language. I know alot of people who were born and raised overseas yet they can communicate their parents mother tongue. My cousins are proof of those. They were born & raised in the US but when they visit the Phils. Pinoy na pinoy sila, they speak tagalog & bisaya/cebuano.
