Congratulations on your new job with the State. Remember to set good boundaries with yourself while working hard and know when you need to take a break and learn to take care of yourself first both mentally and physically. ❤️ mom.
randomly came across your channel and wishing you the best in your journey. I'm leaving the position I'm in soon too (bc its a temporary position and i didn't pass the competitive interview round for the permanent position). But just before this job i was in a really horrible work situation for a very long time. It's hard moving on but life is too short to keep doing something you hate so good luck from now into the future 🤗
I'm sorry to hear about your previous work experience, but yes, I totally agree with you! I feel like time is one of our most valuable resources and who/what/how/where we use it is important! Thank you for your advice and kind words!! I wish you luck in the future as well!!
I recently quit a job for the same reasons. I was hesitant to leave because the team was understaffed and mangement made is clear they resented me for leaving, but it was the right decision. In my gut I knew it. And now I have started the new job, it is like night and day. I feel lighter, head clearer and more focused back on to myself. It is always the right decision to leave a job heading south.
I'm sorry you can relate! It's not a fun thing to experience, but I understand that gut feeling you're talking about and I'm really glad to hear you are enjoying your new job! Definitely makes me feel even more optimistic to start mine in a few weeks. Thank you!
