I saw the thumbnail and thought “that’s such a beautiful sweater, I should make that!” Then I realized I finished mine over a month ago haha. Your version looks so nice I want another one!
Wow, thank you for you reply! So happy to see you. Your jumper is stunning, really like the colours you have chosen. I have not done colour work myself even though i have been knitting for some time. but this year I have made quite a few very simple neck warmer’s, cowls as gifts for friends, it is only two colours but they are so effective and I have loved every moment knitting them, i do hope they like them as much as i do! Now I might be ready to knit a jumper with two colours. I am not on any other social media so cannot catch up with you there, but really enjoy your vlogs so much here. Happy Christmas to you & Yours, Suze. 🧶🎄😊 x
You should go for it and try two colours - it’s tricky at first but so wonderful to see the pattern forming. I’m sure they will love their gifts. I’m in a mad rush trying to finish mine too. An early Christmas to you 🎄❤️
Very pretty, I have heard good things about the petite knitter before. My favorite winter theme sweater is Fallow, which I did as a test knitter last year. I used a heathery grey-beige with color work in a golden brown. Very cute deer pattern, but not overtly holiday- I wear mine all during the colder season, and get admiring comments almost every time I do. Always fun for knitters!
Her patterns are gorgeous - highly recommend. I might have to make another jumper by her. The Fallow sweater is so lovely. I find this neck shaping is so flattering and comfortable. Happy holidays!
As always, very elegant and beautiful! You have the eye to choose the perfect pattern and the perfect colors! Thznk you to be so inspired and inspiring!
It's such a handy little journal. I got mine from Flying Tiger but have been on the look out for an alternative. I will be sure to share if I find one!
Hello! Thank you so much for this vid! It inspired me to try color work and I'm about 1/4 of the way through making the tuku sweater. If I may ask, would you consider making a video about routine care for wool and knitted pieces? My fear is that I'll ruin my items after I spend so much time making them. Thanks!
Hi! So sorry for the slow reply. I’m so happy to hear that you are going to try colourwork - I find it so rewarding and relaxing to knit. You also inspired me to make a ‘Caring for Handknits’ video - I’m going to start working on it very soon. Thanks for watching ❤️
Beautiful all over! The choice of colour is so classic, and the pattern works beautifully with the texture and contrast. Great job, enjoy your sweater! Im currently knitting Slóđir for my christmas sweater in knit picks wonderfluff. The pattern is written in swedish so i had to put it through google translate 😅 i really like it though, the colour work is animal paw prints! Im currently vlogging the process of making it, i love to see others doing the same 🥰
I'm wearing it right now! Your pattern looks wonderful. There is something so satisfying about colourwork - I hope you love it. Will check out your vlog. Merry Christmas!
Your work turned out great! Im knitting the same sweater!! I got excited when you said you were knitting the same size as I am.... but then got scared when you mentioned your bust size, because I am 9 cm more than you 😢 so i hope mine is not too tight... LMAO Im so scared.
Hi! I’m still loving the yarn. As it is quite soft, it is slightly prone to pilling. But that is the case with lots of wool in my experience. The colour work has also become even more enmeshed into the sweeter, which I love. Overall, I would absolute recommend. It is also so warm - I wore it around lots of Christmas markets when it was freezing. Hope that helps!
Hi! I used 5 of the brown and 1 of the cream, but I did make some changes that meant I needed a little bit less than the pattern recommended. Hope that helps :)
Hi. Help me please. Normally I wear SMALL size... I'm knitting size 3.. you think is ok? Cause i'm not sure. no hablo tanto inglés pero espero haya escrito bien. Thanks
Hi! The best way to figure out what size would work on you is to measure your bust and choose the size in the pattern that matches that. I also wear a size small most of the time, so size 3/4 should work for us. I hope this helps!
The pattern for this sweater is called Tuku and its by ThePetiteKnitter. You can find the link in my description or here: www.thepetiteknitter.com/shop/tuku Happy knitting!
Hi! When it says no stitch it simply means there isn't a stitch on this bit because you have done a decrease on a previous row. So you go straight into knitting the segment after the no stitch. Hope this clears things up!
Your jumper is beautiful. I like that the pattern included bust shaping - the additional instructions makes it so worth it. You did a great job.
Thanks for watching. The Petite Knittier included some wonderful instructions - highly recommend!

It really is such lovely pattern! I do the same thing when I see other people making similiar patterns - Knitting is so addictive.

I hope yours is turning out well! I think my gauge was a little bit tight so mine is more fitted than I imagined. Good luck!
Coming back 5 months later to ask what are your opinions on the yarn now that the sweater has been worn and washed a few times?
Hi! I’m still loving the yarn. As it is quite soft, it is slightly prone to pilling. But that is the case with lots of wool in my experience. The colour work has also become even more enmeshed into the sweeter, which I love. Overall, I would absolute recommend. May I ask what notebook you are using? I would like to purchase one! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year too!
Happy new year! I am using a notebook called a 'Knitting Journal' I got from Tiger. It's really useful.
Where is the notebook you are using from? ❤
Hi! My notebook is the knitting journal from Tiger - super affordable and so useful if you can get your hands on one.
Hi how many yarns would you need in total for this jumper?
Hi! I used 5 of the brown and 1 of the cream, but I did make some changes that meant I needed a little bit less than the pattern recommended. Hope that helps :)

On the chart it says no stitch so do I just skip them stitches or do I just knit them?
Hi! When it says no stitch it simply means there isn't a stitch on this bit because you have done a decrease on a previous row. So you go straight into knitting the segment after the no stitch. Hope this clears things up!
Plz shiw your chart
Hi. This pattern is by the Petite Knitter and the link to her website where you can purchase it is in my description. Happy knitting.
