So this is possibly the best video i have made so far, really really happy with this. This is easily better than my run of this mission for my 1000 hours of AC1 video.
Although admittedly i did have to do a separate save for the big jump at the end because i messed it up in the full run somehow and didn't want to sacrifice how good that run was because to do all that with basically no mistakes was crazy.

I love how there's only a handful of voice actors in this game. The guy who voices William of Montferrat voices the merchant Tamir murders in the marketplace lol
i actually never noticed that one surprisingly, but yeah you're right there's not many voice actors, none of them ever really throw me off except when you hear Malik's voice just from random NPC's and it happens a lot haha. But yeah credit to the VAs considering it was such a small group.
@@PeeTiii lmao yeah. "Who is responsible for this?!?!" In Maliks voice is very distracting.

I love the parkour in this one it’s so clean and you’ve improved quite a lot since last time you cleared this castle out, you somehow managed to not make it feel like a game but as if we were watching altair do his work. Very cleanly executed.
Thanks a lot man and yeah this is so much better. I’ll admit the other vid was a bit half-arsed. It was my first AC video and I didn’t imagine it would get so many views. It was literally just like a 5th try run that had no proper planning beforehand, I just did my regular run and uploaded it not thinking much. This had so much more thought, planning and effort in. I’m glad you could tell that! :)

Excellent Stealth Reaper material, some of the best I’ve seen for sure. Unfortunate about having to reload for the Eagle Strike at the end but honestly understandable cuz doing all that and the strike in a single run is pretty demanding
Thanks so much, and honestly missing the jump in the full run was one of the most disappointing things I've ever experiences while playing AC, i just rushed it and knew straight away i was placed wrong. But yeah couldn't sacrifice such a good run.

An advice for future videos: Please consider uploading runs like these without any edits as this can take away a lot of the artistic value of high effort stealth content in my opinion. You know very well that a creative, well executed choreo of that length can take many hours to finish. So if you complete it in one go but decide to split it into several pieces it seems like you just combined a lot of 30 second clips which makes the whole thing look a lot less impressive than it is (and it tends to hurt immersion too). Still, a very nicely done remake of your old video. I always enjoy watching someone revisit old runs because it's a great opportunity to showcase your growth as a content creator
This is obviously not a universal rule. Edits can still create a powerful effect for a choreography so please don't interpret this as an absolute no go. I just wanted to let you know that the type of editing in this particular video makes it look a lot less impressive than it actually is, at least imo. Maybe it just stands out to me because I know how long these videos tend to take. I'm not a big fan of spending hours upon hours on a big project and then seeing a low effort video with a bunch of 30 second clips get 10k views (not saying this is you, just letting you know that a 6 minute choreo without any cuts is way more impressive and deserves to be appreciated in a longer form)
Yeah this has been a big dilemma for me with these videos. I like my videos to be consise, action packed and not too long as I know peoples attention spans aren’t too long these days. I don’t know why but I thought it looked obvious that my these vids were one run (minus the jump in this one and my Robert de sable vid) by the way they flowed but I can see your point. This video for example would be approaching 10 mins without the cut and something in me tells me people would be less likely to choose to watch it (and I’m happy with how my vids are doing). I do agree with you personally though, what would your opinion be on fast forwarding parts? Like for example, you have to cover behind a wall for 20 seconds untill guards come to you, what do you think of speeding it up instead of cutting because just leaving it raw would be very boring. I’ll defo keep it In mind though and try to avoid using too many cuts, I really appreciate the feedback!
@PeeTiii 20 seconds is definitely very long for your style of videos. I try to avoid situations like that as best I can, but if there's really no other way you can approach the scenario (tools, alternate route or use of movement abilities...) then you could always speed up the waiting footage. Maybe not the most ideal solution but at least it's clear to the viewers that it's the same recording. I totally get your concern about attention spans these days. I try not to think of that too much because I'm well aware I'll never be able to please everyone without sacrificing production quality. I know there's an audience for longer videos so that's the people I'm making these runs for and at the end of the day I'm creating content purely for fun (not even on a regular basis anymore). No need to waste time and energy trying to increase a digital number that doesn't matter. A nice comment from someone I look up to can mean more to me than 10k views of random strangers. However, you may try your luck with yt shorts to counter weak attention spans and promote your longer videos

Damn this run is even better than the original one you posted. Who is William talking to when he says "bring them forward?" I have never encountered that audio or scene.
He says that right near the end of his dialogue, If you’ve ever let William go through his whole dialogue and his soldiers leave him alone, you can see two dead bodies in civilian clothing there with William, they are the people he’s talking about (and killed). He says they’ve been whoring and drinking on the job but I’ll be honest I have no idea what their job is and I don’t think there’s a way to find out tbh. But yeah that’s that, also thanks for the praise on the vid, I’m glad you noticed the improvement, a lot more thought and effort went into this one, probably my fav video I’ve made so it means a lot to hear good feedback! :)
@@PeeTiii Trying to remember...maybe they were part of the investigation missions? Like you've eavesdropped on them implying they're going to leave their guard post because there's already a ton of guards in the fortress?
@@andavocado that's pretty logical, from memory (this is where i show how sad i am haha) there are 3 eavesdrop/pickpocket investigations. One is in a small square and has the classic line about something not being in the bible (don't think these are the guys because their voices are definitely different) another is an old robed man near the sea with a templar soldier delivering a letter to William (defo not them) and the third one is civilians on like a street corner that you get a map of William's archers from (it could be them because i dont remember their dialogue that well, i just remember they talk about how to get inside the fortress). So that's all i got, i think it might not be from the investigations (although that woud be cool) but i may be missing something
