Paganism and Christianity merged back in the days of Rome. Christ Church is the pure form of Christianity. Rome never fell, it simply became the Catholic Church. William Cooper exposed the truth in his Mystery Babylon series.R.I.P. 11/5/01 - "Behold a Pale Horse" 1991
From Mackey's Encyclopedia of Freemasonry: "(The All-Seeing Eye is) an important symbol of the Supreme Being, borrowed by the Freemasons from the nations of antiquity. Both the Hebrews and the Egyptians appear to have derived its use from that natural inclination of figurative minds to select an organ as the symbol of the function which it is intended peculiarly to discharge. Thus, the foot was often adopted as the symbol of swiftness, the arm of strength, and the hand of fidelity." So, the Masons are open about borrowing symbols. From memory, the eye by itself is a sign for omniscience, the triangle you see around it in churches was representative of the Trinity. In any case, this symbol really gained prominence after the design of the US dollar bill and modern conspiracy hunters.

Father Nektarios. Well he answered me by saying that the holy trinity is 3 in 1 and equal. So is the triangle an equilateral triangle with 3 equal sides and the all seeing eye of God in the middle. The all seeing eye is an Ancient Greek symbol. This was first ever mentioned by Menandros (Menander) and then taken into Orthodox prayer. Here is the original text: “Εστι δίκης οφθαλμός ος τα πανθʼορά”. Menander's hundreds of works inspired from 4BC onwards into the Renaissance.
Icons of Saint Michael the Archangel, specifically the acedemic (russian) style ones have the all seeing eye on his shield. I saw it first on an icon in the cell of Saint Maximovitch in San Francisco... if it was good enough for him, it's good enough for me!

Context is important for certain and the theosophical and Masonic copying from the church is an interesting topic. I think there was a time when people were more likely playing both sides.
Even if it is originally a Freemasonic symbol, so what? Does one symbol corrupt truth? Plenty of symbols have been baptized into being symbols of Christ. All of iconography today artistically derives from roman pagan art. Should we now throw away our iconography, then? The all-seeing eye doesn't have some corrupting power upon any church that has it. Is yhe One True God not all knowing and all seeing? Is a little triangle with an eye in the middle powerful enough to overtake the grace of the Holy Spirit? People give the Freemasons more credit than they deserve. You're playing into their nonsense when you fear them like this.
The eye of providence appeared in Christian artwork as early as 1525. It didn't appear in Freemason artwork until the 1700s. The same is true of the checkerboard floor. You'll find it right outside Christ's Tomb in The Holy Sepulcher.
@turtlesauce482 Yeah, I'm just saying that _even if_ it was a Freemasonic invention, it doesn't matter anyway. A Satanic ideology is nothing without, well, ideas. "Irmos: I will sacrifice to Thee with a voice of praise, O Lord, the Church crieth unto Thee, cleansed of the blood of demons by the blood which, for mercy’s sake, flowed from Thy side." So the sign known as the "eye of Osiris" is pre-Christian, it comes from ancient Egypt and Masons venerate as such and they put it on the dolar bill as such. Early Christians used many symbols from Pagan Gods that were harmless to express their joy in finding the True God after having lived blinded under the rule of idols. Over time the Church had Councils and Synods and not all the signs were deemed acceptable, some deeply unacceptable and a set of rules for iconography was discerned. Depicting God as incomplete, as one eye is a symbol of incompleteness, has been deemed heretical over time. Many Christians prefer old symbols simply because they are ancient. The Catholic "heart of Jesus" symbol is heretical for the Orthodox because it depicts God, in Whose Image we were created with a full body, as incomplete for example. Even if say a Mason put it in a church to stare at it and worship his god while the Divine Liturgy is held so what? Angels AND Demons alike witness the Divine Liturgy. There are many temptations especially during the Gospel reading, the Cherubic song and dedication of the Eucharist. Sometimes demons make weaker people and kids agitate inside the church even scream. It doesn't matter. The power of God and His Sacrifice is infinitely greater than that of any devil including their headmaster. Whatever that symbol awakens in your mind is infintely weak inside a Church where The Lord sacrifices Himself for us out of His immense love. Some churches have demons with horns depicted as taking the sinners with them as part of the scene of "Final Judgement" on the west wall. Their image is nothing compared to what happens there against them.
@MariaClaire-v1z It is a luciferian organisation that operates covertly. Don't have to worry too much about these things actually as there are plenty of such organisations. Just focus on our own spiritual walk with the Lord.

While I agree with Fr. Heer’s “fundamental points,” this is simply naivety when it comes the history/application of “occultic symbology.” Scottish Rite Freemasonry is only about 200 years old, but Freemasonry is a “streamlined” organization predicated on much more ancient “Mystery Schools.” I’d argue that symbolically speaking, they go right back to Tubal-Cain. Ironically, the last Orthodox Church I was attending had a stained glass depiction of Tubal-Cain 😏 To keep things short, the “Eye of Providence” was NEVER a Christian symbol. “Sacred Geometry” in and of itself is not evil. However, when things are “actualized” in a certain way, they simply can not be “Christianized.” That is simply syncretism or down right infiltration. The Mati or “Evil Eye” in Greece is a perfect example.
I'm Greek and the evil eye/mati is used by many greeks that have it in their car, house, etc to ward off evil spirits. It's an ancient tradition that we have. We only have it for goodluck and lightly believe in it. We heavily believe in the power of the cross though and while it might be next to the mati like hanging from someone's mirror in their car we still mainly believe in the cross and have the evil eye like a "goodluck charm". In EVERY home you go in Greece I can GUARANTEE you will see an icon corner and Greece still keeps its orthodox traditions alive even if they believe in the mati
So what are you suggesting? That people are being magically brainwashed into freemasonry by the all seeing eye? Instead the more likely scenario that they remember that God is an all seeing eye by this image?

@@socol76 Idk honestly. I'm christian but just from my personal experience I do believe some people are born evil. Just as birth defects and imperfections in the human body arose from the fall, we all inherited the tendency to sin from Adam but perhaps some inherited more than others. I wish it was possible for everyone to be saved but some people are beyond saving. Not because their sins are too much, but because they will never truly repent. *A Question for Christians* Christians claim that there is only one true god. This one and true god is the god of the bible. Jesus is the son of this one true god, but Jesus is one and the same as the god of the bible. After all there are not two gods, are there? Add to this the holy spirit, and now we have the Trinity, 3 entities in one comprising the one true god. So whether we call it god, or Jesus, we are talking about the one and only entity that is god. Thus having been said, we look at the deeds of this one true god (Jesus). This god, Jesus, drowned almost all the people of earth including millions of infants and babies, burned two cities full of children, cast plagues on entire nations murdering thousands of babies and children, ordered genocide for entire tribes, but allowed the young virgins to live and made them available for mass rape. Are we still talking about the one true god? If yes, does this god have a split personality, one good side and one evil side? Is the good side unaware of the actions of the evil side? The question is: Why do Christians worship and pray to such a genocidal maniac? I would love to have an answer.

“All seeing eye” is defiantly has western masonic influence not christian. If you would study this subject you would probably name more (for example: floor is painted in classic masonic checkerboard patterns). Architecture and icons of 18-19c. are almost identical with latin west.
I love Jesus. I love the Holy Mother of God and all the Saints who died matyrts so we could flourish in the fullness of our re communion with the Triune God.
May God Bless everyone. Stay strong, stay attentive and if in doubt, always validate it with our Holy Orthodox Church.
Too many things today we do that we have never questioned turn out to be lies and Satanic.
If we assume there is only one truth and work backwards from that, we will find most things are lies with poor motives.
As a former Freemason of the third degree, I repent and seek forgiveness.
I can tell you right now that freemason's claim to have history on the construction of king Solomons Temple as operative masons.
Operative masons and speculative Masons are different.
Their rituals are weird / satanic and I highly advise to stay away.
Their beliefs are incompatible with Christ.
They believe that some people are born bad and can never be changed, healed or made good.
They also believe in ecumenism and that all paths lead to rome per say.
I repent and can validate what the Orthodox Church warns us about.
Amen.

Their belief that some are born bad and can’t be changed is like how people believe narcissists can’t be healed. I believe our Triune God can heal them. What do you think?
@@socol76 One can only be healed if they choose to repent
Fr said in the video that they claim all sorts of mythology about going back in existence forever. Just because they claim that, does it mean it's true? I seem to recall the serpent is known primarily to use deception.
@NFS0038 absolutely agree and that's the issue we face.... Systemic lies.
Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on me a sinner.
Some people, just as people can suffer from delusions or blindness, are biologically incapable of feeling remorse. I don't know why this is. Perhaps they will be judged according to their ability, perhaps they won't. I can't say I know
"OMNIPOTENCE, AND OMNIPRESENCE, LET'S SAY..." SURE, YOU KNOW, LET'S SAY...THAT...WHY NOT...
SEE HOW HE HESITATES? ABSOLUTE INFILTRATION, IT'S NOT A LIKELIHOOD, IT IS A CERTAINTY.
What nonsense.
Theosophical society father.
Yes. I think he understood but was just stumbling over the pronunciation.
Man this is Justin too weird, I don’t like thinking the eye has ANYTHING to do with us believers or our Lord
you ugys have the same symbols cause you are the same thing
yeah, this guy is def a shill.
Sorry?
On what basis do you say such things?
You’ve watched how many minutes?
The Freemasons have been around for a long time, and if it wasn’t the Freemasons, then it was the their predecessors.
Yea but they have never been in the orthodox church in a major way mostly in other religious institutions
The old calendarists would say different@@kingoflebanon1986
@@kingoflebanon1986 Thats clearly false. The Orthodox church has many books of long ago that talk directly about the infiltration of the luciferian cult. And not only the orthodox but europe wide. As far as kings of every region have historical records of the cult of lucifer. Thats a fact straight from their own lips.

Masons started in England and France in the mid 18th century. It was an innovation that I'm not sure they had predecessors other than those who innovated in the catholic/anglican/protestant churches.
There really is not such thing as predating the masons.
“If history be not a fable, the masons have been since the Tower of Babel.”
Who are you quoting, and why should anyone give credence to it? Are those words Equal-to-the-Apostles and inspired by the Holy Spirit?
The origins of Freemasonry are not clear, but the first Grand Lodge was established in 1717 in London:
It’s all idolatry
*A Question for Christians*
Christians claim that there is only one true god.
Reddit's down the hall and to the left. Hopefully others don't take the obvious bait.
@@maylingng4107 If you believe in eternal death, then you will see a quandary. If you believe in resurrection unto life eternal, “death” means nothing. Jesus Christ is the Truth, Life and the Way.
@maylingng4107 Your every thought is based on the human condition. Death scares you. What power does a politician you voted for, has over death when they kill innocents? There is some personal gain for you. What happened in the stories you are referring to? God chose a handful of believers or at least righteous people and reset the whole thing. Left to our own devices humans will perish to the last one. Look around you. When humans try to play God, they forget that they have no power over death and only use it as a threat.

It is not a question of belief, it is a question of evidence. Jesus never existed. The biblical story is just a made up fiction.
