To the “free” trips: my dad used to be an elementary teacher, and we got to go as a family to a teaching teaching convention in San Antonio. We went on a budget, but the hotel room and the travel was covered, and meals were partially comped. My husband used to work with a distribution company and has been on multiple work trips all over the world. I got to tag along to Germany once, and our hotel, cabs, airfare (not mine, but his), and meals were either comped or prepaid by the company. That’s how 9-5s and corporate jobs work. They are normally paying for travel and travel related expenses when they require their employees to travel. And it really is a fully paid trip. They don’t require you to hit or maintain “ranks” to “qualify” either.
Mlms aren’t anything special or better than a corporate job. If you want to travel with your company, then get a corporate job. You may get to go to Europe, Asia, or actual metropolitan centers in the USA, and take your spouse for cheap/free. Las Vegas can be done on your 2 weeks vacation and paid with your one week’s salary.

I am in a level 8 individual contributer role, so I am at the bottom of the food chain. Yet, my company treated me to an overseas trip to our company's headquarters office in the US (I live in the UK) two years ago, truly all paid for, accommodation and all food and drinks included, and not only that, I was able to bring a plus one! You literally got me hooked on anti mlm content a month ago and I’ve been binging Kiki Chanel and ccsuarez so much. I can’t believe how brainwashed these people are. The facts everyone presents are only seen as personal attacks somehow. I was almost sucked into one a few years ago but thanks to my experience in selling through Poshmark, I knew the “15%” discount I got on products to apparently buy and sell was way to low to make any profit and therefore realized that recruiting is the only way to make money. Finally my anxiety in messaging people and starting conversations came in handy cuz I knew I couldn’t do that lol and therefore didn’t join and years later I found out it was an mlm lol. I think it was young living. Anyways, great points and I love how organized you are and that you never comment about the person themselves. Extremely professional!

I worked a "dreaded corporate job" for a travel agency and got better free trips than they did. And I didn't have to earn them by selling and recruiting people. We went to Cancun, Las Vegas, Austin, etc.. Everything was paid for and included. And people actually won amazing prizes like airline tickets for around the world trips. And this was just for our manager's meeting every year. Nothing sales related but they also had trips that our sales agents could earn as well that were incredible and went all over the world and were also all inclusive. They definitely have the wool pulled over their eyes for sure

So someone asks the lady "How does she handle the hate". She said that she handles it 'cause it's irrelevant. That didn't answer the question. It's irrelevant, so the hate just magically goes away🤔? She's leaving us to believe that it's something that she doesn't want to say. It would've been nice to if she answered the question. Does she knows what clickbait is?

However, one correction re the ads: you mentioned that RUclips tries to match the ads to the viewers... that is not true. RUclips is not the one running the ads, that's Google adsense... hence- it's not just about people looking at an anti mlm video and youtube is showing them these ads, it's Google offering them ads based on keywords that they'd used, such as names of certain companies, and even if the viewer was googling a lot of things relating to make money from home, or medical information about after giving birth...
anyway- LOVE everything you upload, thank you so much :)

Click bait means misrepresenting the video with a title that draws people in, but then has nothing to do with the actual content. So, no, antiMLM content is not click bait. In contrast, I would argue that MLM reps use enormous amounts of real click bait. I.e. captions that get people’s attention, followed by empty promises at best, and lies and victim blaming at worst.

Bruh. I've been crocheting lil cat toys since like March (now it's August... so 5.5 months?). My best friend from high school has an actual small business. She sells pet treats and stuff at a couple local farmer's markets in/around our hometown. I get like 50% from them. Then subtract the cost of supplies and shipping (I live in a different state). So... I have to have something to keep my hands busy when I sit and watch shows/YT or listen to podcasts in the evenings anyway. ADHD, sitting still is a challenge sometimes. Lol! Crocheting is one of the things I like to do, for that purpose. I'd probably be doing it regardless. So, for a couple hours each week night I mindlessly crochet while chill on the couch with my dogs. Sometimes I spend more time on the weekends when there isn't anything else to do. That's also when I figure out new patterns. It takes a very very basic amount of understanding and practice to be able to make several of these toys. It is definitely something a lot of people can/could do if they wanted. I taught myself by using YT videos. But yea, I pop by the post office maybe twice a month at most (one's close to my house another is close to my office, as in, I walk there on my morning break). ... and for that, I can afford a trip to Vegas for two. Just from one farmer's market season. I've got $1000 in profit just from this year so far. Lol! I still have to finish out the farmer's market season. There are holiday markets. Then January and February are free and clear. Or... I can make a ton them during those two months so that I can slack off for a month or so during the next farmer's market season. I can work on it in the car. I can even bring it camping. No internet or batteries required. It doesn't really feel like work. I can socialize normally while I do it too. But I don't have to do all of that if/when I don't want to. I also use activities like reading or crocheting to fill lil pockets of time. Put dinner together and get it in the oven... now I've got 30 minutes to fill. If we had kids, I could even crochet while helping with homework. All this to say that... my mind is blown. These ladies are really out there really hustling... while also losing friends and family, going in to debt, stressing themselves tf out, etc. Wow. Just, wow. I know my situation isn't possible for a lot of people. But it is an example of one of the many many things you can do that are way less taxing on you/your life if you want a trip to Vegas every year and some extra Xmas money.

As someone who is from Southern CA, traveled quite a bit for work and was in a Vegas bowling league (as in, every 6 months we would do our Sweeps in Vegas, at either the Orleans or South Pointe), Vegas hotel rooms are almost always dead-cheap...every hotel has a casino, and that's where they make their money, so rooms and alcohol are affordable, to the point of being almost free. Hell, I was racking up comp rooms at a ridiculous rate, in that by the time I left for NC, I had a week of free rooms on my accounts (though I would be literally ☠☠☠ after 3-4 nights, because addictions are a thing)...

A lot of people get a mild cold after going to conventions, lots of people from all over gathered in one place and the stress of planning everything for that weekend with the hundreds of dollars that go into it.
Booking hotel, planning costumes, making sure they're finished and put together, coordinating with your friends, how you're getting there, what panels you're going to attend and which special guests you want to meet.

Monat reps flocked to me after vulnerably speaking about my androgenic alopecia. I’m very sensitive about this and have been desperate to combat it. I wasted years and hundreds (thousands?) of dollars on their products. They damaged my hair, but I was told that if I stopped using their products I would experience a massive episode of hair loss. I’m an idiot. There came a point that I just couldn’t afford their products and reluctantly returned to drug store brands. No massive hair loss (my hairdresser has said that I have new growth) and my hair is so much healthier. With the money that I wasted, I could have seen and tried treatments from a hair loss specialist.

It’s a bunch of hons in matching pink “beach BOSS influencer” tees talking to you while they walk towards the camera, then it cuts to another one talking while they keep walking towards the camera, then cuts to another one while they all walk towards the camera, it went on this way for 2 full minutes (yes, I watched the whole ad, this approach never stopped).
