Hi. I have now seen three different types och pockets on front and aft. Measuring and leave room for the curved sides on the bow. Add material to the pockets and now shorten the pocket and add snaps. Whitch one would you recommend for my SeaRay 270 sundancer?
Our newest approach to making a zippered pocket is done like what you see in this video. We now stop the zipper at the beginning of the curve and place a snap on the frame and snap the end of the pocket to the frame. This results in less wrinkles in the top and is much easier to construct.
You said #20 needle….. can you be more specific looking at sailrite and there seems to be different #20 needle’s and this is my first time making a Bimini so I want to do it right. Just purchased the ultra feed lsz and I’m excited to be doing this myself!
Hi I really want to have my boat new Bimini in closure top. I have all the measurement, but I can’t find anyone to help me out. I had asked local but it’s too much cost for me. Is anyway you can help me out?
Great video. This is very similar to my bimini which is getting pretty OLD. Thank you!
Looks like it's time for a bimini upgrade! 😉
Excited to watch this soon!

@ Ok. I will use this new method on my own new top. Then bulid the sides, back and front for a full enclosure.
One question. I have webbing straps in the front corners, from the front bow to the windshield. Do you have any idea to make it work?

Yep, you need a 135 x 17 #20 needle. SKU# 7010 or www.sailrite.com/Needles-135x17-20-Pack-10
Thank you love your videos

It happens to the best of us! Sometimes the smallest things can slip our minds when we're focused on so many other details.

I loved the part where Eric fought the wind with the pattern
My favorite part was going "do-do-do-do-do" while pulling off binding tape backer. I do it all the time now 😂
I'm in South San Francisco CA...the wind blows quite a bit...and I mean quite a bit...😱😱😱
