Anybody else ever have that "how did I not know about this" kinda feeling when finding that fire ass podcast
Im a podcast nerd mainly comedy ones and i randomly stumbled on this one like a few months ago and was STOKED Garza always has dope guests and SS was the best Deathcore band ever 🤘
@@Aaronlovesmusic970 That's nutty cuz I'm the same way, mostly comedy but for once the algo came through! lol
@@KP-ol3tc check out legion of skanks if you haven't already they're super funny dudes and their podcast is ridiculously good and they make fun of EVERYTHING and Everyone in my opinion one of the best podcasts but don't check it out if you get offended easily cuz that's kind of their thing the most offensive podcast in the world haha
Same
fr youtube is lackin
Watching Garza write down deathnote so he can watch it later brings me so much joy.
I watched deathnote on a website and it was streaming the episodes and decided to watch it. I love deathnote.
😍🤘
💥🤘🏼 -Garza
I’m 41 yr old . Old Pantera fan. Love the shirt and the future of metal overall like BOS. It’s all about having fun.
The fact I slept on Brand of Sacrifice for so long and I love Berserk and Deathcore is wild to me. 😂 I’m glad I eventually discovered them. Side Note- Matt’s Static-X Wisconsin death trip shirt is god tier!
I was stunned to hear Kyle mention that Leo was in Ascariasis. What an album that band released back in the day.
The fact that Kyle is wearing a shirt representing the MIGHTY PanterA just makes him even greater 🤘🎸
Glad bands like Psycho-Frame and Angelmaker are keeping OG deathcore alive.
One of the best bands ive ever seen live hands down
Facts, they deserve a bigger stage imo
Don’t really care for their style not that it’s not good, just not really my thing. Saw them live tho and they absolutely kill it.
@@beetleborg4171 thank you man. People need to be as open minded as you
They definitely stand out and put on a flawless performance hands down.
@@dustinmock8734 what are some bands you think are a must see
Kyle seems like such a chill dude and the fact that he's a monster vocalist makes him a legend already!
I love that Kyle mentioned deathnote because that series was hands down amazing. BOS should do a song based on it.
Considering all of their songs are based off Berserk, it wouldn’t really fit.
Within Destruction would be a sick choice for a DN song tho.
So glad to hear Kyle and Chris give a shout out to Angelmaker. Those dudes are making some BANGERS and deserve all the love they get
Stoked to see Kyle on with Garza 🤘
10/10 on the deathnote recommendation 🔥
They killed it in Anaheim. Insane how they opened the show.
That was my third time seeing them and it was easily the best time
Garza this is my favorite PodCast bro! This is gonna be a Banger interview!
Keep coming through with the content!
I started listening to brand like 4 years back. I loved it. I said to myself f man deathcore is back if new bands are coming up sounding like this. And wow they didnt disappoint its been great every record / single they drop. Brand and the browning where my gym bands from late 18 thu 19.
anotha one!!
Don't even get me started on these dudes! BoS is doing many things others haven't even gotten close to, mad props!
Kyle is such a nice guy. He must be so cool to be around
Ain't no way Kyle is 32, the max I thought was at least 27 ._.
They killed that show in Anaheim. Definitely the highlight for me.
I loved The Afterimage, I totally respect their direction and I'm really glad they're still finding success after a rebrand. I got to see them live as BoS, loved it
keep em coming, already watched all the episodes haha
Just saw these dudes open for After The Burial in Austin recently. So h e a v y! 🤘🏼
Yaaasssss! Love brand of sacrifice!!!
I’ve seen these guys 3 different times and they killed it every time 🤘🏻
Damn, Chris seems like such a nice chill dude. Cool to finally find a podcast about my favourite music-genre. Love your podcast Chris shoutout from Sweden!
Saw these guys for the first time last year with Dying Fetus. Killer show.
Excellent interview.
Unpopular option, Kyle outclassed Chris. Easy EASY!! In the words of the 2x Doctor ‘Step it up!!!’
Those dudes slayed on that as I lay dying tour
Next Guest: Will Ramos!
Very cool podcast guys yup super cool 😎 🎶😈🤘🍻
Will Ramos
Kyle Anderson
Alex Terrible
Best Vocalists out there by far! ❤️❤️❤️❤️💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🔥🔥🔥🔥
kyle a thall fan. respect.
Need new Brand in my life asap! 🤘😈
Over here in Ann Arbor watching a Brand of Sacrifice interview, the moment he said the hippy town I was I like I swear to god if he says Ann Arbor. I go to a dj booth with my homie from time to time and that would be nutz if they were at the same studio
Industrial Deathcore is the future. Calling it.
lets fucking go! just heard of these guys and knew garza would have me covered!
the new ep rips. i like the nu metal drops
Welcome to the new ageis still one of the best callouts
Ohh shit can’t wait to listen to this one!
Wow! Dude that's so amazing, I remember I used to listen to Ascariasis a lot, Ocean Of Color is a real sick album and my favorite by them. So it's really sick to know Leo was involved with that project, he's really an amazing guitarist... I also used to listen to the afterimage a lot as well, had no idea any of these projects were related at all, so it's super cool to see what has now become brand of sacrifice…
super glad they came to Montana we don't normally get that good shit here.
Tracheotomy is doing some good old school deathcore and they are young af
HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE BIG 6
Hey there, really enjoyed the video. i would love to get these as audio only, are you on audea?
Love the static x shirt 🤘
Do you push it? Haha
@@Aaronlovesmusic970yes tf I do 😂
Just saw them in Anaheim. Fuck they were amazing.
Doom EP is what got me into extreme metal lol
Damn, I fucking love Shibori Threads, didn't know Kyle was involved with it that's fucking sick
Garza podcast why don't you make a documentary about 1st wave of deathcore then 2nd wave of deathcore
It’s being talked about right now actually. -GaЯza
You should have ERRA on! Super cool dudes
I like Kyles hair. For me Brand of Sacrifice bring fresh air to Deathcore. Don't know why they still underrated and not on a level like Lorna Shore. To be honest I like Lorna shores new album, but the formular is almost the same in their songs. And Brand of Sacrifice has a unique sound. Phenomenal Band. I hope a new album is still coming this year.
Lorna shore without will is eh with will is just a whole different genre
gotta protect your ears guys.
About the old school Deathcore bands... Anyone who misses Lorelei? Black-Deathcore, wish they'd still be active.
Tactosa bringing back the old ss sound
Demon king 😈🤘🔥❤️
Yo Garza, quick thing, I dont know why in the red bar of youtube video the like "chapters" are from the deicide video and not from the Kyle video... I saw the chapter "Almost leaving Deicide" and I was like "Kyle was in Deicide?"
Dude thank you for this. I didn't press SAVE then was on vacation haha. Fixed. -Garza
@@GarzaPodcast no worries dude, thanks for the content enjoy vacation
I've been out of this music scene for over 10 years but I do remember this guy from local bands in the southern Ontario area, particularly Newmarket/Aurora. His band was called Centuries Apart, and before that I think they were called The Memphis West but I remember that lineup had a different singer. Cool to see one of the heavier bands from that area get so big.

Miss Ascariasis :(
Best band coming out of Toronto -416 ehh
Why doesn’t Leo ever tour with the band anymore?
took some time off hes back out with them now though.
Dear Garza,
Please interview Lorna Shore?
-🤘🏼
Yep also hated anime and then watched Death Note, the rest is history.
Que triste no entender nada de ingles 💀
JAJAJQ
I'm 34 deathcore is neither old school or such a thing as classic deathcore lol
Idk about that. It’s evolved alot. I think it’s safe to say old school deathcore is a thing.
It’s been around for about 20 years at this point give or take. The early sound definitely isn’t the same as now when so many other influences like nu metal, electronics, prog, and clean vocals have been integrated.
idk I'm 31 dude and carnifex and whitechapels somatic defilement is def classic deathcore now.
no offense to garza but you can tell the dude has done his fair share of drugs. love suicide silence.
I miss the afterimage, not so much into his new stuff
Please drink some water!!!!! Your swallowing and mouth noise is just unmatched! I’m really interested in the content but I can’t fking do it because of that.
