My wr250 ran lean when I first rode it so it was fire and flams like a ramstien concert and the header pipe could cook and a medium rare steak Edit: why does the red go away. Is it unburnt fuel in the header that’s cooling the pipe like why does it get less red
I guess it's all in the setup. I have a 2023 and it does the same thing while trail riding. He made a good point. Hit the gas and she's happy. But I also have the Rossier full kit and a vortex tuner.
Wow! You saved me so much time! Very helpful! I will subscribe just cuz you made this video
Thank you, that video was very helpful.
I was just about go crazy over my bike when I seen this
Glowing red in under a min Jesus, I’m going to try fiberglass wrap
Check the exhaust valve. Maybe it needs adjusted or replaced. NOT NORMAL.
One reason I could imagine is that Yamaha uses a thinner metal with the exhaust. my 04 dose this
That is interesting, you would think that by revving it, it would get hotter and glow even more but its the opposite 🤔
Trust me I was thinking the same thing a couple years ago
No because when you het the throttle you gave more fuel ⛽️ and that what make the mixture cooler
Do you have the part number and description of the silencer and optimizer you have
Airfield mixtures way too lean at idle and rev it up in the airfield make sure goes correct. Brings the temperature down.
I just bought one and got 10 mins down the road realized it was red hot, shut it off tried to turn it back on engine light came on and it locked
Thank you I’m just built my first 4 stroke n it got red I got scared
You're welcome 😊
I got a 2021 YFZ450R, wanting to know why my pipe is red
I have a full exhaust with hmf optimizer and the header pipe glows, is this normal for full exhaust as well?

@@raydelfa1125stay on the gas
It's not normal! I have a 2023 and it fucking cooks my right leg.
🤣😂🤣😅
Same bro my leg hairs be melting off
I have a question do I need to buy a tuner after buying a new air filter?
With my knowledge in what I have heard with my experience no
Not normal
Titanium valves will fix this as will tuning your air/fuel mixture correctly 🤷♂️
