Itinanggi ng Armed Forces of the Philippines ang ulat sa umano’y planong pagbuwag sa Task Force Davao dahil sa diumano’y napipintong pag-aresto kay dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Nilinaw din ng AFP ang naging pakay ni AFP chief of staff Gen. Romeo Brawner nang bumisita ito sa Mindanao kamakailan.
