What a coïncidence, i ordered a hipshot detuner last week! What is missing from this video to make it complete is a how to set-up the detuner. I would have loved to see that.

The gear ratio for Hipshot HB 7 tuners is 27:1.
I love the despective way of talking. It adds an extra touch of professionalims.
If you dont like the flats try some tapewounds. If u don't like those, Elixirs kill.
Pro tip for bass extender you want to hit the stop lever with lithium grease I didnt have any on hand have some coming though, I would pull the buttons and spacers/washers from there as well as the screws too never now when you'll need a washer or the nylon spacer breaks, need to swap the old jin ho gotoh knock offs from my old spector q4 pro(only need 3 as I have a hipshot db7 on it ) and it has a 18 volt gotoh box powering a darkglass tone capsule. Need to swap the pups for some active emgs dcs or a px and jx soapbar.
Hipshot ultralites all day long! I remove and replace one tuner at a time. It keeps tension on the neck while you're doing the swap. It probably doesn't make a difference though, I just prefer doing it that way.
That still better though, you can compare the stems if it's aligned properly to the old tuner alignment.

There so much slack on the E tuner of my 2018 Squier Jazz you have to turn past E to E# and then tune back down to E, I'm look at another brand that just come out with "Ratio" tuners. Hope you guys review those soon.

How can I tell what size tuner I need to get to replace the ones in my Washburn? I dont know the model as I bought it off a friend who himself got it used.

What is the proper gauge for the bass for a Drop D tuning? Nice tuners.

That KSM foundation bridge is pure garbage. An all aluminum bridge made in Taiwan for $200 USD. Luckily they sent you that garbage for free.
Pointless.....you showed how to do Nothing!! Why not show how to install and set up the bass xtender tuning key? You just liked the sound of your own voice and to fiddle with your bass on camera! Poor!
