Thank you for this rescue! Once we can all work together to refuse single use plastic to keep the problem from getting worse...... One partial solution anyhow. Cleanup will be the next hurdle!

A bitter sweet video of rescue and loss. Thank you for raising our awareness. I hope we can all help by eliminating our contribution to the rubbish dumped in our seas. It's not our home it's theirs x

O God, when I consider Thee, I am a king among kings,
there is a crown upon my head,
But when I consider myself, I am one of the bereft,
and upon my head is dust

So sad every fishermen should have to pay a fine BEFORE going out with their nets. The nets should be counted BEFORE they take off. Once they return the nets are counted again, if they have returned with ALL of the nets the money is returned, if not it is kept AND they must return to the areas they were fishing to retrieve the net/nets!

I love these stories where people help one or more animals. It makes me wonder though if they then go home and eat animal cadavers. It's time to be respectful to all animals, and go vegan. If we were all vegan, no new nets would be added to the ocean. Please consider learning more at www.VeganVids.com and at www.HowToStartVegan.com :)

We humans and the destruction we cause. So sad.

    • @ewaleokadia76

Mostly, what it comes down to, is the damned nets which unfeeling humans dispose of in the ocean rather than recycle them or dispose of them properly. Yes, plastic in the water does no good either. In another Olive Project, it was stated that the nets come from Asia. So, why aren't people educated about the destruction these ghost nets are causing marine life?
