GG made a video for my son. My son is 28 with severe autism. I didn't know he had passed until today. Love you, GG...wish I could've met you in person.
If it wasn't for GG (RIP) getting shot in the leg outside the Empire, and delaying the release of the album.... Reggie, Mark, Steve and Dave would've been much bigger than they were.... Even today when they're on stage together, they sound better than ever! Proof of Chemistry and true talent!
Now that we found this song again now we can play it over and over again such an awesome band. These guys were highly highly underrated deserve so much more credit than what they got. also met them on numerous occasions following them around Philadelphia and down the New Jersey shore during the 90's summers.
I always thought this song stood out from the rest at that time,Genuine feel to it,it came straight from the heart. I still love this song,as a matter of fact it's only grown better over time! Yeah they don't make em like this anymore....;)
I had no idea that Larry Baud was part of this! My wife and I used to see Network all the time at the Silo in Reading and The Green Pine Inn in Allentown way back in the day... The band was always tight, and Larry's vocals were so damned good they gave me goosebumps.... I was also amazed at Larry's ability to whip his mike stand around without ever hitting anyone on the dance floor in the head!!!! I still have the cassette of their "Crashing Hollywood" release, and still love their original songs like 'Breaking My Heart' and 'Suzanne'... Do you know if it was ever released on CD, and where I could get a copy? PEACE....
Honor a quien honor merece, esta musica no debe de quedar en el olvido y es necesario reconocer el talento de todos estos musicos maravillosos, difundamos por todo el mundo esta increible musica, disfrutemos, hold me.........
I used to see these guys at the galaxy , Reggie wu , is the man , shredmeister , i remember hearing a tape of Reggie and Ritchie decarlo back in the day !!!
@MrMarco0676 That's awesome, dude. It makes my day every time I run into young people who like the music I grew up with. If you were born in 96 that should make you 16 years old. I was 16 years old back in 1984, when Miami Vice, Quiet Riot, and the first Terminator movie were out in force. It was a great year! Thank you for making me remember it! };-)
Looks like that Fire Fest show is going to be something else! I was looking at the lineup, and some of my favorite 80's hard rock bands will be there, like hardline, Dare, Baton Rouge, and Heaven's Edge, of course. Wish I could make some time to travel to the UK and attend, but unfortunately I will not be able to... {:-(
You can always download the video and convert it to an MP3 file. I use a tool called RUclips Downloader that I got from CNET's Download.com, and it works great. You can get the free version or the paid one for all the features. That's the tool I use to download older music that has become hard to get any other way. This older stuff from the 80's is very hard to find in the digital realm. Even the CD's are hard to find sometimes!!
I had checked out of hair metal by this time as it had become very cookie cutter with every band sounding and looking the same - but this one band I really liked.
@ruisilva321 I am born in 96 and for my generation it is normal to listen to shit like dubstep and stuff, but for my this kind of music is much cooler and better... ;)
@vinceeverett2010 ... no prob. i am from Austria and all of my friends just listen to lady gag and Katie Parry ( i don't know how to spell her name) but i am a great Rock and Metal fan, sometimes it is very annoying when everyboda tells u that your music is so uncool... but i am a real Fan and i stay tuned on 80s metal and stuff...( by the way i am 16 in about 5 months ) I also make my own music ( heavy metal) ....wanna add me on facebook ( Marco Tischler )
Reggie Wu is an underrated guitarist. He absolutely tore it up on this record, and he holds his own on keyboards too.
Not around here in the Philly area......I always called him
Reggie Van Wu'....Still do.
GG made a video for my son. My son is 28 with severe autism. I didn't know he had passed until today. Love you, GG...wish I could've met you in person.
I've known them for years before they even put out an album and I love their music. They truly deserved more recognition.
Yes they did.
Love heavens edge

This song was very good...should have been a big hit. it is way better than anything today. If a movie used it nowadays, it would be a hit...

Kick Ass !!
Masterfully, generically representative of the genre and sound of the time. Could fit perfectly in an 80's movie love montage...

And now I have to play dirty
Got to wonder? If you're this freaking great, why quit after the 1st record?
What a great underrated band....the stupid record company should have made this first single and video!!!!
I had checked out of hair metal by this time as it had become very cookie cutter with every band sounding and looking the same - but this one band I really liked.
I saw them live in Philly last year and they pit on a crazy good show!
i dont find that cookie cutter thing to be as true as people remember it i think their memory is influenced, ive heard so uch diversity in the genre
