So 2 teams had 0% winning shootout ratio, 2 teams had 50% and 2 teams had 100%, the latter being tue 2 finalists who were also the only 2 team's to win their quarter-final match in normal time...against these 2 teams.
We Croats played with reserves this game, but never the less great victory Portugal. OMG this was time when actually TRUE PORTUGESE PLAYED FOR PORTUGAL and not africa & brasil. Great times.
A fact people leave out. Croatia already qualified for the knockout stage. This team and the 2016 team are the 2 best teams Croatia had even if they didn’t go as far as they did in World Cups.

Croatia have no talent and play a brand of football that will never win them anything. Look at what they did in the World cup final against France. They were embarrassed and did not deserve to be in the finals with a performance like that. Portugal beat France 1-0 in Paris to win the 2016 Euro and showed the world how it's done. Sorry Croatia.
More I read Portuguese fans, more I've got the impression they are more arrogant than French fans. a difficult task lol. Portugal best generations were the Eusebio's and Figo's ones... and it's quite ironic that a mediocre and defensive Portugal luckily win the Euro 2016.... like Greece in 2004. I guess it was a sort of pay-back. As for Portugal future, there is talent for sure, but not convinced Joao Felix has the aura to become a great champion to lead this team.

B team my ass! This is the 1996 Euro not a qualifying game. This game was very important for Croatian players to develop chemistry and build on their confidence for the rest of the tournament. Instead the coach made a bad decision for this game and it backfired. Portugal had a different mentality for this game and they wanted to win it and they did!
