I've just discovered your channel and have to say I adore it. Just now as I'm home from school taking a little lunch break, I came across your beautiful piece of paradise. Listening to you talk about your garden and green house etc. has been just what I needed, before I go back to finish my day with the children. I'll certainly be keeping up with your progress and treasures as time goes on. This has been so educational and relaxing. Thank you :)

Here in midwestern USA we are getting way too much rain and everything keeps flooding, while you’re getting our normal weather. For many Years I have used 2 liter soda bottles planted in the ground with tomato’s and it works great! Your garden is so beautiful. 🥰 thank you for the tour.

Awesome tour. I’m trying okra for the first time also. Hoping my Chicagoland zone 5b gets hot enough, long enough. Very rainy here which has made for several challenges. Love the pineapple mint as it adds the right zing to summer drinks!

For the marrow - slice a quarter off lengthways. Scoop out the seeds and pith. Fill with Bolognaise ( or filling of your choice). Put the lid back on. Wrap in foil. Bake in the oven

Hi from South Notts. Vegetable gardener here on my small garden plot, not many people can be bothered to garden nowdays. You cannot beat your own home grown produce. Also had my first strawbs and taste was great. My plum tree will yield a mass of plums this year so looking forward to eating them. Nice video.

I have just joined your channel and I love it. I have watched quite a few episodes so far and you have inspired me so much. I am trying the no dig method this year and am hopeful for the results. I would say where I am in Canada which is New Brunswick that we are about a month behind you for our growing season but we can grow most everything you grow which is why I love British gardening. So thank you for your channel

Hi ? Sorry don't know your name
But I would like to point out why I enjoy watching your videos so much.
    1.
Your UK based, Nottingham I believe as am I in Carlton. Which means you deal with British names for certain vegetables such as swede & rocket instead of rutabaga & arugula.
    2.
You use centigrade not Fahrenheit without zone 4 or zone 6 climate.
    3.
I am very much a wildlife gardener who enjoys watching Francis Tophill on TV and the first thing which attracted me to your channel was that you remind me of her. I love the way you get excited when you see wildlife and have a Belfast sink as a pond as do I. I live in a flat with a communal garden that was pretty much neglected until i arrived four years ago, now it's full of flowers that bring in the insects such as the leaf cutter bees in my bug hotel's & frogs, toads, foxes, badgers, squirrels, along with all the lovely birds gold finches, wren's, long tailed tits, Robins & many more.
As we both live in Nottingham I hope to bump into you one day but until then keep up the good work 👍 👍

Lovely garden! Okra likes it hot, a very sunny location, once the fruit starts you can cut all the leaves below it off, makes for a easier time of harvesting and the energy can go into more fruit and not leaves.

Your allotment looks more like a nature reserve, it looks stunning. It's nice to see a Nottingham lass on a gardening video.
My father has an allotment in Bulwell, nowhere near as nice as yours, he just grows vegetables and weeds, more weeds than veg actually.

Get some hot lips salvia. I grow four in my herb beds and they flower with beautiful bright red flowers and the whole plant reeks of black currant. Excellent for tea. Would be good to compare our gardens. I have way more edible plant but I do like your flowers. I’m just trying to cultivate a huge edible garden that grows unassisted. So far so good. Your allotment is a lovely space 👌🏻

Its native to uk, very good for insect ecology and not hard to control. Cattle need to eat a lot of it to be poisoned.
