This is quite hard hitting stuff really, the script is fantastic, it touches on subjects that you wouldnt expect from a kids TV show. Also, seems very ahead of its time. Truly remarkable really.
Can anyone recommend any other shows like this? Omega Factor, Armchair Thriller, Ace of Wands, Beasts, Children of the Stones, The Stone Tape etc. All really good shows
Briscoe the Collie children of the stones, that TV show had very creepy opening titles. They just dont make them like that anymore. We had the best of it in the 1970s. Different world back then, sadly missed.
Children of the St ones was & is a great series. I watched it in my teens mid/late 1970's. And yes I have the dvd now. It reminds me of that summer 'drought' we had.
It seems that Tim has access to an early version of the internet, what with all the facts and information he can pick up. I find the painting disappointingly simple and drab. They need to be more enigmatic. The grandfather is a fun character, reminds me of the elderly bank manager in 'Mary Poppins'.

Elizabeth: We must save John.
Stephen: Eh, yeah, the thing is without John I'm sorta the second in command and well...
Pena que nao encontro este seriado legendado em português. A tradução do google nao é a mesma coisa.
"Keep An Eye On Robert" count: 6:00 (four for the serial so far)
Anyone notice the sound at 6.20 is same one off Catchphrase? Coincidence? ;-)
Será que los puedan pasar en Español
I used to watch this when I lived in England. I liked it to
But I just want to know why they wear the same clothes all the time
Robert: Man, the picture on my plasma TV is starting to appear hazy.

It's not Dick Van Dyke!
@@howarddiamond6442 Dick Van Dyke acted two roles in Mary Poppins, didn't he
Yes, he did. Actually three. Bert, his grandfather and the chimney sweep
nice all seeing eye in the intro eh?
I know, that cut pepper scares the Hell out of me...
Year????
1973
If you ask me the Teleports/jaunts should have looked like what happend at 12:21. Instead of a simple Fade in and Fade Out.
John so patronising for a 'seventeen year old'
The worst acting ever seen on tv
