Since the group reads this, this is for Kate. I'm a 73 year old man and from the first time I heard your voice, I thought my mother had come back to life. She was a 5'1" school secretary who could sing those high notes as soft and sweetly as you do. She also surprised you with the power she could generate. There was much unhappiness in our home growing up, but I remember talking to mom about music and how she went to school with Janice Page. We would talk about all kinds of music, sometimes we would sing duets in the car. Unfortunately I received very little from her gene pool. I have a very flat sounding voice, not pitch-wise but like the difference in shiny paint or flat paint. But I'm good in groups where I don't need to be flashy. I'll stop now as I recognized my terminal ADHD was getting the better of me. Thanks Samantha dear for being a reactor and not being afraid to let your feelings out. I was right there with you. Thanks for not getting too upset with me for the possible contact to let Kate know how her singing affects many of us out here, as well as all of the exceptional artists that are Voctave. Thanks to all of you.
LOVE #Voctave and loved your reaction too! IMHO no one (as much as I love the other a cappella/vocal bands out there) can sing as masterfully and make me emote as much as Voctave!! Their arrangements, dynamics, layering and harmonizing, not to mention the solos, are simply heavenly! Please keep the Voctave coming!
Loved your reaction. They are currently on tour, so it may be a minute before Kurt or any of the group sees this. They are so insanely talented. For me, the song "Someone's Waiting For You" makes me cry every time. And when Ashley and Voctave sing it...wow. So...yeah. I get it. I have seen them live 4 times so far. Would love a fifth time.

Hi Samantha! Hope your weekend is going swimmingly! Early on, Voctave did a mash-up of This Is My Wish and Let There Be Peace on Earth. It features some great stuff from EJ Cardona and is really wonderful. Would love to see you react to that. Also another early recording is/was The Fly Medley. It's also great. I love that Jamey Ray (arranger) sang You'll be in My Heart. His voice is sheer perfection and SUCH musical talent! Take Care!

I am sad that they didn't include "Baby Mine" from Dumbo, it's the best song in that movie, even though the situation it is sung during is heartbreaking. Dimash has a new music video, which is quite different from what he's done before.
La La Lu is a very underrated song from The Lady And The Tramp. It´s what Darling, the female owner of Lady sings to her baby in the crib. Little starsweeper is still one of my favorite nick-names for a baby too. Baby Mine is done by Voctave, they just did it as a standalone for Mother´s Day. The upload includes pictures of each member with their mom.
@bagnes4605 It´s because the movie is carried by He´s A Tramp and Bella Notte. But La La Lu is IMO one of the most beautiful lullabies yet lyric wise doesn´t even have to be in a Disney. And ironically Peggy Lee sings it! Yeah, same one who did the sultry dog Peg who sings He´s a Tramp.
You should really invest in a microphone or adjust your sound settings because we can hear too much background noise. It would be much better for our ears

They have a wonderful video already for “Baby Mine” it’s a Mother’s Day tribute, so have tissues nearby.
