True power is sitting back and observing with logic, these words really spoke to me. I used to be very shy and self conscious about what people thought of me. When watching your videos Mike, you really showed me the true meaning of confidence and living according to how you want and not letting other people take control.
@@mikeraynaldo3454OH MAN 😃 I love your videos they make we want to travel and come to china ! For sure this is definitely on my to do list of places I want to visit
Lao Tzu (or Lao Tze) was an African sage around 500 BC in China, just to mention. A temple was built for him ''inside of which he was worshipped like a god'', according to historians.
Amen Mike, I don't let anyone still my joy, keep doing you and keep the attitude you have and you will go a long way in life,Love your videos, keep them coming. I be waiting on your videos. I am your number one supporter.💞
Thank you for bringing this up, Mike. Initially, I thought people were simply intrigued by vloggers with cameras. Indeed, some of us were wondering if you were an influencer, what you were filming, and if we would appear on TV. I guess these questions are not unique to Chinese (see 9:05-9:10 in your video). Additionally, I also want to acknowledge that your proficiency in Chinese genuinely surprised us so that some of them cannot help knowing you more. Beyond the reasons I’ve mentioned, I admit that some Chinese people may feel curious when they encounter foreigners for the first time on the street (@dunkodownunder said, “anyone who isn’t Asian in China draws a lot of attention"). This could be common in second- or third-tier cities (I know, some individuals might even ask you questions that could be perceived as offensive), however, I guess this phenomenon is rare in Beijing and Shanghai, which are economically superior areas with more exposure to people from different countries. We in regional areas indeed have limited access to people from other countries and lack understanding of how to interact appropriately given the cultural differences. I’m not defending this behavior as it can indeed make the person being stared at feel uncomfortable. Please understand that curiosity often stems from unfamiliarity, and it’s never our intention to make anyone feel uncomfortable. I hope this explanation provides some help into the experiences you’ve had.
Great feed back, it makes a lot of sense to me and this community could learn something from it. We appreciate your sincerity on behalf of most Chinese reaction to foreigners. The goal for this channel is to enlighten the world. With a vast population in China it is but normal that some remain curious but also friendly and hospitable towards foreigners. More and more Chinese also become open minded and are willing to accept and learn something new.
😂😂😂😂 Mike said "oh that's a real person." We could tell and scared the mess out of you...😂😂😂😂 This some good stuff.Wish I could speak the language.I would definitely go there
Mike, your Content is great. I mean, you're cruising a bouleva bar in China. It is wonderful. I love seeing it. I love seeing all the people and people everywhere and you should look. Sharing your time with your friends, your loved ones. And get along, and that's what everybody is. Doing the gentleman that came up to you and told you that you speak very good. Chinese, that was awesome. The Chinese respect someone who's learned the language and I can speak it. I can tell that's very high. I'm there to-do list. Somebody speaks Chinese there. Praise Praise you for speaking a language very well. I just love Chinese history. LO everything and what they do over there. They are so innovative with their technology. And you know they're where they're headed. The lot of the places in the oral wash, building stuff and. That's just awesome. Mike.I see why you're at the top of RUclips, because when you put your content out, it's always better than the time before and you really care about what your audience thinks thank you for waiting for us, and I'm Cedric, Nash, you already know this.I'm your Number one fan. Hey from Florida Mike. L❤ve your videos. As a young boy, I remember eating pig brains and scrambled eggs on two occasions. YUMMOLICIOUS! Keep up your gr8 work❣
Anyone who isn't Asian in China draws a lot of attention. My wife is caucasian and people just want their photos taken with her in china and she was starting to get annoyed after a while.
London, England. (I'm not from here. Came over to visit in 2006 because i was bored and wanted to experience something new) Was born in Sweden. Have family in Manchester and was only supposed to stay in London for two weeks hahaha
Happiness is your responsibility and not the responsibility of others! When people make derogatory remarks to me, I just remember that “if don’t apply then I let it fly”!! The world is full of ignorant people and the hardest thing I can do is to try to show an ignorant person that they’re ignorant. Good luck to them and I keep it moving! Seek positivity, respect and love in the world, it’s a lot of it out there. Great job Mike! 🙏🏾✌🏾👍🏾👋🏾
What you said in the beginning really hit hard. Because this proves that the only people who are easily offended by racism are indeed not around racism at all. So any slight inconvenience puts them in an aggressive mood. You live through it because Chinese culture has that aspect to it unfortunately, but you are not hurt physically or emotionally, because the only people who get damaged by racism ARE the racists themselves. Peace!

Mike, I have another idea. You show many videos about the Chinese people consuming food etc. It would be highly educational to see how the Chinese manage waste, be it sewage or whatever. Can you make a video on waste management.
They do the lock things here in America also.. The same reasons... I wonder where it started at originally..even heard of it in Scandinavia and Europe...
Hi Mike, tell me more on the culture, the variations in the culture and language; some history of the towns you visit and certainly the food, drinks and festivals of the town visited. Also, what is most notable of the town. Mike spice it up with these details. Thanks.
I’m watching from New Westminster British Columbia Canada When I went to China the first time in 2008 I was stared at constantly I was eating at a food court in a mall in Handan and there was at least a dozen or more people standing around me just staring after the 7th time going to China I just got use to it. I really don’t like boiled peanuts, my Chinese wife loves them.
My friends and me had tourists stare and stare and stare at us with blank faces in the British Museum of all places. I am from the UK, they were mainly elderly female Chinese tourists with curly perms and lacking manners. Anyhow, anyone calling you the N word in China clearly doesn't understand how karma works.
