I can't think of anyone more fun and entertaining to listen to on a podcast about whitetails than Ryan. He's like a big kid when it comes to deer. He gets into it like nobody else. I managed to squeeze in the first week of November off from work. This has gotten me fired up for the rut.
37:47 This is a great breakdown from a guy that knows PA whitetails good as anyone. You, Ryan, and Steve Sherk are a wealth of knowledge. Thanks for dropping this episode at the perfect time, please have Ryan on again soon or do a scouting series with him! Thanks Beau!
I live in southern WV and I've had luck on public Nov 2nd and 3rd. Killed my 2 best bucks on those dates just hunting from the ground and going in on what i e-scouted. Podcasts like this have helped me a ton!!! Thanks for taking the time to put info out there.
Best chasing I've ever seen was 2 years ago day after Tgiving big framed 8-10 ×2 chasing a doe around a large roundish ridge system swva. Lee county specifically
If i take my weapon when i need be looking or aim to scout it 100% of the time turns into creepin, still hunting covering 1/10 ground i should have! Everytime, its the bain of my in any season scouting! Frustrates the living bleep out of me and i continue to do it to this point! Smh dilemma for sure. The pressure of having a regional giant 160 class deer on camera last year, seeing him in august this year has also ruined my hunting so far last year and to this point. Ive been face to face with 3 bear encounters ""-15ft" 8 points, mega 6,called in a 8 this past weekend just nothing excites me knowing ol'hank is running amuck! Lol gotta figure it out though and i know its a problem so thats the first step! I want it so bad 25yrs in the making its consumed my brain for a big clip of time. At all cost, im full effort,i must win! Haha self hype man,all true statements though. Good luck out there gentlemen. I work 11 on road 2 home so that adds great stress to the situ
All substance, no fluff! Great job fellas.
