@@TheTechne crazy story here but here we go, i tried getting this keyboard and my order went through. Woke up the next day and got an email that my order hadn't been accepted due to the whole catastrophe that was the launch. Hey man, I have a request! Do a budget mic review or in general review mics so we can know which is the best! I think budget builds will get you alot of views!
Glad someone talked about this! I was gonna buy it only to not be able to access the website... I got a standard ducky one 2 mini with silver switches and was way happier with that then I would have been with the hyperx one.
I was going to order this but chose a Varmilo VA88 Rainbow RGB instead, similar to the Miya Pro you reviewed. Nice to know I didn’t make a bad decision :)
only thing I didn’t like about this was that half of the boards were bought by resellers and they were reselling it for 250+. the seller who sold theirs to u was being somewhat generous lol. But anyways great review! Keep it up
I think they are expensive, but for example. My miya panda pro was 130 i think, but had mouse mat, panda and keyboard. I loved the artwork and the custom keycaps and that's what sold it for me. I almost got the year of the pig keyboard, because of the design and craftmanship behind it in a sense. I think you can spend on something you want like 200 bucks if it's something quite unique. If you just want gaming, then any keyboard will do so go for anything even if it's used. It all depends on what aesthetic you're going for, or if you prefer functionality then it's not worth to spend even just 100 usd. Awesome video man!

For the keyboard that i want: 60%, lubed speed switches, top stabs, metal case +weight, rgb, pbt keycaps, usbc i would spend 150 dollars easy and 200 would be max. If it had a carbon backplate or brass backplate i would spend extra as an option.

would this be a massive downgrade i had an rk 61 with brown switches but this keyboard was hella loud so i ordered a hyperx alloy core rgb because its quieter and was like $40. Do u recon it could effect my gameplay and is it really that quiet compared to the rk61

@@TheTechne very strange, random quality i guess? but mine does not bend on the sides and does not crunch like an regular one2mini. Maybe I’m lucky and a more sober factory worker assembled my keyboard

as a person that builds custom keyboards i cant see myself spending $200 just for the name hyper X or $110 if im going to spend that type of money. like what i just did i spend $134 on a ducky frozen llama mecha mini. at less with that im getting a custom board with 2 sets of custom caps with a V2 board and the most important is a metal case so yeah metal over plastic is a no Brainer
3 Days ago finally my anne pro arrived and its freakin awesome, 100% happy i went with anne instead of ducky. switches are nice, build quality is a freakin tank, awesome software with full customization of 3 layers total, pre lubed stabs, nice keycaps, and it has bluetooth just as an added bonus. and it also just cost me 76 bucks. what does ducky offer me in comparison thats worth that much more money? i simply do not know, i dont like the cherry switches, i hate the look of duckys (looks like thin kids toys plastic) so what do i get that my anne cant do? a fancy spacebar and lighter rgb? and thats almost 50 bucks more? i could almost buy 2 anne pros for the price of a ducky OR put on 30 40 bucks more and go with a full custom board instead. seriously i feel like duckys would be more of a value closer to the anne pro but because all those fancy fortnite pros use duckys and if 12year old (wich is like the average fortnite player) want something, they cry until mum buys it and because so many kids want duckys because of it, prices go up. there is no way i see a ducky be worth that much
These aren’t cherry switches. Check your facts. Also, customs are great but require quite some more time. And in many cases you won’t be able to get parts that easily outside NA.
I tell you one thing the anne pro can't do, that's permanently switch to another layer without loading up software and downloading the profile to the keyboard which is a chore. Now if they made Magic FN toggable that would change the game, but they haven't. If you want to record custom layer and actually make it usable in games then Ducky wins. Although I do agree the anne pro is a beautiful board and if you don't care about macros and programming permanent layers that are accessible without needing a software to switch to them then yea the anne pro is a winner.
i mean... i just put together my first custom and i paid around 200 for it. It was worth it to me, except the keycaps didnt fit perfectly on this board for me in terms of both look and sound. ive been using different keycaps that i own already to try to find the best fit in terms of sound, so now im going to just get some different keycaps to really complete the look. the other keycaps were moved to a different board so at least they arent being wasted haha
I was hoping to snag one, just like the ghost, I was SOL. I hate the limited drops especially when people just flip em. I ended up getting a ducky sf 65% with some silver switches. It arrived just yesterday so I haven't had too much time to mess with it.

could anyone recommend a reasonably priced mechanical keyboard i got a faulty one 2 mini and they refuse to replace it(i don’t recommend buying ducky products)
While I agree it stinks that the website crashes, I think that the judgement for a computer company having a website down is a bit short sighted. I would put money that they have nothing to do with their website hosting hardware-wise. The web hosting server going down is on the hosting, not the company.
waited all day for it, just for the site to crash and to see bots buy them all up and throw them on Ebay for $300, i told myself i would NEVER buy anything hyperx or ducky ever again, kinda sad
yea. i'd fee the same if I experienced that, and actually owning one was important to me. then again companies won't stop these limited edition drop so long as people queue up to buy them :P
99$ for that one max. They should've made it like the One 2 Mecha mini with the upgraded frame. And for my perfect keyboard (don't even know exactly what all it would need or that I would want right off the top of my head), the end all be all main driver for everything. I. Would drop about $200. Maybe $300 if it had the newer analog technology. But that price would include at least one or 2 high quality key cap sets and a nice coiled cable
I doubt those switches are a pleasure to type on, but I can believe they are great for gaming. I do have to agree though, I don't see any reason this needed to be a limited edition drop. I'm not altogether that impressed with limited edition drops to begin with since I think these companies create black markets where people resell them at marked up prices (without any intention of ever using them themselves). Regarding this particular drop, at the original drop price it was a perfectly good purchase, heck even a good one since it came with different switches. At reseller price, you having a laugh? I don't agree that normal ducky boards are overpriced either. I think you get a lot for what you pay. Well built, good stabs, good keycaps, nice aesthetics, programmability only thing lacking is switch variety and software support.
I got this keyboard it was the last in finland and i love it but i do feel bad for having it because i just went in to the store asked if they had a 60 procent keyboard and they said that there was this limited time keyboard so i ordered it and for the poeple who waited on the hyperx website that they didn't get it

I don’t get why the Hyper X pudding keycaps weren’t on there
that would have been a great touch
The Techne Wow! You responded to a video that is a month old!
Waited months made it to the processing order screen 5 times and it kicked me everytime... then sold out...
could anyone recommend a reasonably priced mechanical keyboard i got a faulty one 2 mini and they refuse to replace it(i don’t recommend buying ducky products)
anything but a full or membrane keyboard
Durgod K320
The Techne some ppl were telling me to get a leopold is that better?
While I agree it stinks that the website crashes, I think that the judgement for a computer company having a website down is a bit short sighted. I would put money that they have nothing to do with their website hosting hardware-wise. The web hosting server going down is on the hosting, not the company.
true, but my point is I think they would be a bit smarter, and implement a plan in place for any potential issues
THE TECHNE CANT EVER LIE
Love the vids man 3
waited all day for it, just for the site to crash and to see bots buy them all up and throw them on Ebay for $300, i told myself i would NEVER buy anything hyperx or ducky ever again, kinda sad
yea. i'd fee the same if I experienced that, and actually owning one was important to me. then again companies won't stop these limited edition drop so long as people queue up to buy them :P
Don't forget about the NK65 that sold out in less than 30 seconds
Review the Red Dragon K530??

Well built, good stabs, good keycaps, nice aesthetics, programmability only thing lacking is switch variety and software support.
there is just much better out there for the $
people who know nothing but the names of the brands omg best keyboard
I got this keyboard it was the last in finland and i love it but i do feel bad for having it because i just went in to the store asked if they had a 60 procent keyboard and they said that there was this limited time keyboard so i ordered it and for the poeple who waited on the hyperx website that they didn't get it
weird they had it in stores?
No but they ordered it for me from the store so i could come and pick it up
