The hospital story is wild to me. I had to repeatedly ASK campus security (who rescued me from the stairwell where I'd fallen and broken my ankle in 3 places) to call me an ambulance. They kept insisting I get a taxi. I learned later that that's how they got most of the students to the hospital, even kids with preexisting conditions who passed out (granted it was like 10 blocks away but still). They assumed all of the students didn't have insurance or that it wouldn't cover an ambulance ride, which is such a sad reflection on our HC system.
It is sad. They also probably realize most college kids don't know this yet and are still on their parent's insurance. They don't want the parents to end up with a massive hospital bill.
"I cannot afford an ambulance, because guess what? We're in America" That is crazy to me, it doesn't matter how many times I hear people saying they have to pay for an AMBULANCE RIDE, that's capitalism for you I guess haha
You can absolutely call us, tell us you want treatment but not transport. If you're ever badly wounded or witness an overdose, PLEASE call. You don't have to go to the hospital. That knocks a shitton on money off the bill, and in some states/insuramce plans it makes it free.
As an European, hearing this kind of things shock me the absolute most. Like I can't begin to even imagine living with this fear of bankrupcy because medical bills or even a simple ambulance ride
The, "I'm your RA" "Omg, you're my RA" part reminded me of the literal COUNTLESS times I would see my residents downtown at the bars. Once, one of my residents, inebriated after a day of dartying, screamed at me from across the parking lot, "SEE YOU AT 100 PROOF (a bar) TONIGHT, BECCAAAAA!!!" The year after I was an RA, I was a desk/building access assistant and almost exclusively worked from 2 a.m.-8 a.m. (kms, so much worse than being on duty) Students had to swipe their IDs to get into the building, and one time this resident's card wasn't working. I buzzed him in, looked at his card, and and said, "Um, this fake ID will only let you into the bars, not into this building." He sobered up SO quick, "Uhh that's um that's my friend's haha just holding it for him uhhh here's my real ID heheh I swear I live here."
how did you decide whether or not to bust people? i’m gonna be an RA in the fall (assuming we even go back to campus lol) and i feel like i’m not gonna want to bust anyone but also don’t wanna get in trouble 😔🤘🏻
I never went to the bars not even when I was legal, it's just not my scene, but I caught my RA going to or coming back from the bars one night and she was like apologizing to me. 😂 I was like I don't care. 😂 If you even knew half the shit I experimented with in college, drinking alcohol is no biggie.
one time I had a friend who moved away, so she gave her fish to her other friend. They had a falling out and so he poured soda in the tank and then lit them on fire. Edit: I am still baffled at how someone could do that.
I was an RA this year and had a resident ask me if I’d “get freaky” with him if I wasn’t in charge of him. I also told a resident to get the f**k outta my room when he talked down to me too much, then almost lost my job because of it. Funniest part of the job is watching freshmen walk by you with loads of alcohol and just pretending you can’t smell or see
If you were hypothetically an RA, and because of your stories (that totally, totally didn’t happen) you got in trouble, I work in a law office. But you weren’t an RA 😉. Also, love the succulent program idea!
In my first year some guy started a drug lab in his room and everyone had to evacuate cause his meth set off an alarm. (I'm only a resident but I wanted to chime in)
I always wondered what being an RA is like, the ones at my school are the ones who are constantly partying and having so many people at their apartments 😂
Honestly, RA's are lifesavers. I had one RA who was so kind, I got sunburned on my face really bad and didn't have an aloe so I was in agony. I knocked on her door and asked if she had any to spare. She didn't have any but she did let me know that the health clinic had some for free. So I went a whole night in pain but I did get the aloe eventually. She was also the same RA who helped some of my friends(lived on the same floor as me) when they had serious health issues(One friend has heart issues and another one has too many health issues to count so she's prone to fainting) and needed to go to the hospital on several occasions. This year before the semester when online, we had a cool RA but I also witness some crazy things and stories being on Hall Council, for instance, one time we had a girl in our hall who had a METH LAB in her dorm. After that, our RA quit and we got a new one who is also super cool. Although he wasn't there long because we went online.
That is literally the exact thought that goes through EVERY RA's head. And it's funny because the same thing happened in one of my neighboring buildings when I was an RA, and the main reason it got REALLY busted was because they decided to post it on a VERY PUBLIC Instagram account.

Not an RA but have a fun story involving my RA (who was off duty)! Two weeks before we got kicked out the the halls, thanks corona, my friends and I decided to draw an Ouiji Board and play it in the main area while everyone else got on the piss. It was fun and my RA joined in. That RA tricked us into believe there was a spirit with us called Ian. My friend had to go to the toilet so we said goodbye, when she came back she was pretty much running out of the toilet scared that Ian was gonna take her soul. After that we continued trying to summon spirits with the RA and one of the night guards joined in. Pretty much we got so into it that we stayed up till 3 a.m. to try the ouiji board again (didn’t even realise that we were doing the ouiji board at 3 am on Friday 13th) that’s when my RA revealed he was Ian but we still did it anyway. It worked and we all freaked out so the night guard with us went outside to set our drawn ouiji board on fire. Honestly this whole story sounds stupid but it was a fun night

This totally didn’t happen but one time I saw my RA at a warehouse party where I was hypothetically hammered off booze I definitely didn’t illegally obtain and she was totally not high off her ass. If that did happen though it wouldn’t been a crazy experience
I went to community college then transferred to a university. I was 22 and my roommate was 21 when we first moved into the dorms. It turned out our RA had just turned 21. She LOVED us! She came down to hang-out in our room with us a couple times a month. She let us have an illegal sandwich grill because we made her grilled cheese when she would stop by. She also liked us because we were SLIGHTLY more mature than the other residents, so we rarely gave her any problems. She was the most super-chill person at the college. She was awesome.
A guy in my building opened a beer in the elevator with someone else in it and then asked "What are you gonna do narc on me?" Turns out they were an RA.
LMAO i love these stories bc honestly they're all kind of pure in a way? Like they're not those crazy stories with insane roommates/creepy neighbors/stalkers/crazy bosses/etc, they're just really hilarious stories that I totally believe about the weird random stuff people do. Love it, 10/10 would recommend.
I remember just one time in my hall taking a shower and hearing the loud crash of something breaking outside. As I exited the bathroom, I saw a bunch of people gathered including my RA around a neighbor who lived directly across from me and his foot was bleeding profusely. There was blood on the walls, floor, and covering my RA's hands since she was putting pressure on his wounds. They told me to just walk around them as I left the shower, barefoot because I forgot to grab some slippers or something. Even after the cleaning ladies came, you could still see where he had bled and that might have been the craziest thing I remember from this year.
I applied to be an RA at my school and just got a rejection letter and this video makes me feel a little bit better about not becoming one next year. Love your videos!!
Your videos actually inspired me to become an RA this last semester :) Your videos couldn’t of ever truly informed me as to how much FUN this job really could be, and I want to thank you for that. I was sad to hear you quit, but mental health is important, and screwy supervisors aren’t fun. (ALSO, it meant that this video would one day come out and I’ve been super excited to hear your stories!)
my RA friend took someone's 6ft bong like the day after they first brought it in the building because the other RA saw the guy carrying the 6 ft bong up to his dorm (in a state where it isnt legal)
My RA was super duper nice but a bit awkward sometimes. I rollerbladed in the hallways when we weren’t supposed to, someone got arrested for drugs, these baseball players got pissed for finding condoms on their door, another group of people had a fish tank with about 10 fish or so. Kinda sad I couldn’t keep going to school because it’s expensive pensive
I was an RA for half a year. Living alone sent me into a depressive episode, had to quit. I had sophomores and hanging out with my coworkers was so fun but I couldn’t keep up.
Haven't watched the video yet but I just wanted to say how happy you make me Everytime you upload and quarantine hasn't been as bad because of you. Thank you 🥺💕
I find it interesting that at your school, the residential students can’t have alcohol if they’re of age. At mine they can, but they obviously can’t supply it to someone underage lmao
As someone who was an RA and a supervisor of RAs and wants to do this for a living (idk why I’m crazy) I loved these stories. Also I’m appalled at the fact that they didn’t answer the duty phone and call you back immediately, I’m so sorry that happened to you. If that had been me as the supervisor, I would’ve taken all the blame because you shouldn’t of been in that situation alone.
Cool! Now, in addition to occasionally lifting heavy things up and put them down, you can say you sometimes hold furry things down and lift them up again. Symmetry for your resume.
I work in housing too at my college (I'm a desk assistant though) and all the RAs tell me horror stories of times they got in trouble for making a reasonable decision given the circumstances, just like your hospital story. Red tape definitely makes the job so much worse
I love your videos about Temple and dorms and stuff, I recently applied to a few colleges and Temple was one of them. Waiting for an acceptance or rejection letter is so anxiety inducing but these videos make it a bit less scary.
I’m an RA for a freshman dorm and one of my weekend duty nights we had to call the police and EMTs three times on the same night and I ended up with a resident at the hospital until 4 am.
As a British person its insane that you couldn't keep alcohol in your building. Getting absolutely trashed is basically officially mandated by the university especially in freshers week. Also yeah having to pay for an ambulance is ridiculous. America seems mental, my RA just told us where the best bars in town were.
Sometimes I forget that America is so different from other countries even as an American until I see all the people commenting like, "American college sure is whacky lol." And then I'm like??? There's a difference? I thought all colleges were weird like this.

“LARGE and in Charge.” 😂😂😂
Me: *casually chugging monster*
Nicky: and he froze his fish.
Me: *chokes*
I was an RA for 4.5 years. Every second was an eternity of pain and despair.
“HALT who are you and why are you so old” 😂😂
“I was like your mom for a hot second” lmao my RA was super sweet. She was like the floor’s nurturing big sister so I totally get that sentiment
Nicole: 'If you don't know wha... "
FBI:
" FBI OPEN UP"
A guy in my building opened a beer in the elevator with someone else in it and then asked "What are you gonna do narc on me?" Turns out they were an RA.
Reading these comments before hearing the stories is absolutely wild.
This video made me like you even more, and I didn't think that was possible.
lmao “for legal reasons i’m playing a character”
I applied to be an RA at my school and just got a rejection letter and this video makes me feel a little bit better about not becoming one next year. Love your videos!!
Thank you so much! Some things don’t work out for a reason!
girl: "no i cant afford an ambulance" Nicole: "because guess what, we're in america"
Lmao I’m dying at the stripper pole story
„He didn‘t start the fire 🔥“ lmao i diedd
Your videos actually inspired
me to become an RA this last semester :)
Your videos couldn’t of ever truly informed me as to how much FUN this job really could be, and I want to thank you for that. I was sad to hear you quit, but mental health is important, and screwy supervisors aren’t fun. (ALSO, it meant that this video would one day come out and I’ve been super excited to hear your stories!)
oh sweetie im the wrong person to ask... im an RA.
oml i died
my RA friend took someone's 6ft bong like the day after they first brought it in the building because the other RA saw the guy carrying the 6 ft bong up to his dorm (in a state where it isnt legal)
Omg as a former RA I relate so hard to so much of this 😂
this vid had me ROLLIN and girl your makeup is flawless... weird compliment but your nose is so cute and u are GLOWING wow
Her bangs are so perfect-
I was an RA for half a year.
Thank you 🥺💕
That makes me so happy
I find it interesting that at your school, the residential students can’t have alcohol if they’re of age. At mine they can, but they obviously can’t supply it to someone underage lmao
I did a room inspection once and someone had hung a bear from the ceiling. Like a noose.
this video came up in my recommended 3 days ago and i have been binge watching all of your videos since... miss nasty i love u
Omg the thought that you might die but you can't afford the ride to the hospital is just so terrifying. I live in Germany. Can't relate
Me (going to be an RA next year)
First 17 minutes of video: oh shit( questioning my life decisions)
Last 2 minutes of video: okay we’re chill
SAME GIRL SAME
Anna Musilli me toooooo 😫
"Safe Succ" took me out.
You've got yourself a new subscriber sis.
“professional cat holder downer” SENT ME 😂
This was so entertaining AHHH thank u nikki nasty you're making quarantine so much fun
"im scared of men" I TELL THAT TO MY FRIENDS AND THEY DONT UNDERSTANDDD THEY THINK IM BEING WEIRD
love how you basically tell college stories. LOVE it!
Cool! Now, in addition to occasionally lifting heavy things up and put them down, you can say you sometimes hold furry things down and lift them up again. Symmetry for your resume.
This spoke to me on a whole new level after being an RA and quitting at semester with just as many crazy stories
I’m an RA for a freshman dorm and one of my weekend duty nights we had to call the police and EMTs three times on the same night and I ended up with a resident at the hospital until 4 am.
i’m convinced i’m currently an ra at the same institution you were
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VIDEOOO YEEESSSSSSS
you’re the first youtuber whose videos i wait for and rewatch CONSTANTLY. i told my mom about u
🥺🥺🥺
maydha lol my favorite part of this comment is: “I told my mom about you”
Me, internally: why didn't she make a succ pun? That would have been-
Nicole: Safe Succ(tm)
Me, screaming: PERFECT
This was soooo entertaining! Please share more stories!!
when she said "he froze his fish" my jaw literally dropped and i audibly gasped lol
every single vibe you give off i am just living for i am subbed 😂😂
No one:
Nicky Nasty: Defining characteristic
As a British person its insane that you couldn't keep alcohol in your building. Getting absolutely trashed is basically officially mandated by the university especially in freshers week. Also yeah having to pay for an ambulance is ridiculous. America seems mental, my RA just told us where the best bars in town were.
Sometimes I forget that America is so different from other countries even as an American until I see all the people commenting like, "American college sure is whacky lol." And then I'm like??? There's a difference? I thought all colleges were weird like this.
Forget having a mentor for college, Nicole is my college mentor
i support you ill come to the hearing if you get sued
kennedy heinrichs me too sis me too
Can we make signs😂😂🤔🤔🤔
this got recommended to me and i’m so glad i clicked it. you’re so f*^king entertaining
"you served the country now let me serve my floor"
You're so good at telling stories please continue
“Because guess what we are in America” I laughed too hard 😭
your hair is so pretty!!! also i loved checking the fake watch (troy bolton is shaking)
Thank you so much!
