There is something so powerful and majestic about orchestral music combined with heavy rock music. It's beauty and power combined - kind of like when a man and woman unite. Thanks for the reaction.
This is one of the most underrated songs of all time! I'm so glad you shared your thoughts about it!

Metallica has So so many differebt songs but they are all so Epic!!!! True Legends!!!
Yes, all the Members of Metallica are still alive the lead singer James just turned 60.
They are still alive and still rocking ❤
They sure are still going beautiful. They just released not too long ago their latest studio album called 72 seasons. It's worth a listen check it out
Your reaction of Metallica performing at the Moscow Airfield in front of half a million Russians is one of my favourite reactions.
Yes they're alive, lol. They just came out with a new album on the 14th. Check it out if you haven't. It's called Metallica 72 Seasons
You need to check out Procal Harum A Whiter Shade of Pale - live in Denmark 2006. One of the best collaborations of prog rock and orchestra. Such a beautiful venue also. You will not be disappointed .
I remember when Metallica dropped this song on S&M 1 when I was a teenage fanboy. Blew my mind. With rock and metal, it can take a while to get into. It takes a lot of ear training, kinda like with orchestral music. Truth be told metal and orchestra have many similarities.
Excellent choice and indeed very, very underrated!
They just dropped a new album 🔥🔥🔥
New Album is Out now from Metallica
Your becoming a music aficionado 😊❤
I love itttt
@@RussianReactionReviews hi ❤
The song was great&the guitar solo after 6 min really put this over the top🎸🎶
i like all ur videos that u uplond to youtube
Thank you sooo much!
Metallica changed alot over years I wouldn't expect you to remember that.
At the beginning of your first Metallica reaction for "Enter Sandman," a song called "The Ecstacy of Gold" plays before they break into their song. "The Ecstacy of Gold" was written by Ennio Morricone for the climax scene for the 1966 film "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly." Metallica opens their S&M album playing that song with the symphony. I really love it. The original version with the woman singing gives me chills every time, and is perfect for the scene in the movie.
Hero of the Day with the S&M orchestra is my favorite. It’s amazing!!!😊
In 1999, Metallica decided to record a concert performance w/ a full symphonic orchestra (The San Francisco Symphony) w/ (late) composer & arranger Michael Kamen conducting (who had recorded strings for a 1991 Metallica ballad "Nothing else matters")... The live performance was released as the 'S&M' album in 1999 ("S&M" is actually a term used for sadomasochism - a sexual experience involving pain and punishment 😂)
For the setlist, Metallica played some of their most popular songs ('Master of Puppets'... 'Until it sleeps'... 'Enter Sandman'... 'Nothing else matters'... etc) w/ the orchestra playing behind them... They had also written 2 new songs just for the performance - 'No leaf clover'... and 'Minus (-) human'... and the album was a huge success, selling 2 million copies in the US.
As a result, there were bands recording albums w/ symphony orchestras after 2000... Deep Purple did a 'Concerto' album, but that was way back in 1969... the Scorpions recorded the symphonic album 'Moment of glory' w/ the Berlin Philharmonic... Kiss recorded 'Alive IV' in Australia w/ the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra... Trans Siberian Orchestra made a career making symphonic Christmas albums w/ metal musicians (the project was created by members of the band Savatage).
For some reason, Metallica decided to revisit the format playing live w/ a symphony orchestra in 2019... Michael Kamen had passed away, so it was a new collaboration. This time, they added some tracks that had not been played back in 1999 ('All within my hands'... 'Halo on fire'... 'The day that never comes'... etc.)...and released in 2020 as 'S&M 2'... But this time, it was not as well-received and band were not as sharp sonically as they had been 20 years ago... Robert Trujillo (bass) has replaced bassist Jason Newsted in 2003.
I would highly recommend checking out Metallica's first 'S&M' record back in 1999 if u enjoyed listening to metal music backed by a full symphony orchestra 🔥🔥🤘🤘
In 4 years my hair will be as long as yours in here. Can't wait.

Ready for solo of "Fade to Black" ?
Kirk is a great guitar solo composer. Like Jimi Hendrix-ish
"Are they still alive?"
A question I wonder about a lot of the bands I listen to.

Faz reação do Lucas Inutilismo (2022) Em uma música.
🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️😘🇲🇽
Very interesting. I have always thought of Metallica as a hard core heavy metal band, which isn't the type of music that I'm into. I would never have associated them with orchestral music!
They are always searching and improving their talents . Imo, one of the most gifted bands. Up there with the Beatles
Metallica first did a symphony bit back in like 1999. They've also gone all over the place. Bleeding Me has more of a blues influence, Mama Said has a strong country vibe, and Low Man's Lyric has a Celtic folk feel. They're definitely not afraid to try something new, even if it blows up in their faces.
The first 3 records were great .
Pretentious head swelling with Lars.
Metal bands usually get that way then I just move on and out.
I did like the 1st wave of proto Thrash , Suicidal Tendencies, King Diamind, etc.
Every metallica album is great ...
I watched your Christmas family guy from couple years ago. I would have invited you to Christmas
I couldve been your pet 🐕
React some INDIAN Songs 💪😎
Metallica the black album is the best
The first S&M album is better than the second by far. James's voice here is starting to fail. I think this is when he had throat problems. Kind regards.
I can't believe I wasted money on Metallica in 1990, it's a wall of noise
Best band to have ever been ... classical metal
If you haven’t seen it already, you should do a reaction video watching Enemy at the Gates with Jude Law
