    Girl dont get yourself too twisted. Relapses are the most important part of recovery. Not to be celebrated nor shamed, relapses and struggles give you strength. It's something youre going to deal with the rest of your life even if you're doing great for a few years. Relapses are sort of like the big tests at school. Your gonna need to study and fail to learn exactly what that test required from you. You're on a huge open ocean girl and it is up to you and you alone to navigate them. Friends can "help" but this is your solo journey. You're a wise woman and you know exactly what that means. If it was easy then everyone would do it. Much love to you fei been watching you for a while. Much peace and remember you will fail and rise again over and over. Give yourself some grace, you have your whole life to get down on yourself. ❤❤

    I think you’re doing amazing. I went on the same journey in 2021 and I’m happy to say I’m pretty much 99% healed from a majority of my toxic thoughts and behaviors about food. I recommend following dieticians on this platform. They focus on nutrition and health not aesthetic goals and they breakdown what is too much or too little in easy to understand terms. As long as you put healthy food in your body in balance with cravings, there’s nothing to be ashamed about! My favorite rule I’ve learned from a dietician is not to worry about taking things out but to add instead. For example instead of being put off by a white bagel you can focus on adding protein like humus, veggies,fiber and healthy fat. Then it becomes a whole balanced meal instead of just a plate of guilt and carbs. Rooting for you besties!! You can do it! Food doesn’t define you neither do your clothes or body shape! ❤️

    Fei, think about long term rather than short term solutions. Don’t skip meals, bc we tend to overeat while starving, plus it f**ks up our digestive system. Eat regular foods rather than the zero calo ones, bc that could make you hungry later that day. For snacks, eat what you want, just don’t go overboard. Most importantly, a daily walk after dinner for just 30 minutes does wonders for our body. Remember, everything should be a slow consistent steady progress, that is key. Anything regarding short term for health is never good. Also have rest days/cheat days, it is necessary as long as it’s done in moderation. I hope I’m not overstepping my boundaries, but I just want to share what has helped me in my journey. Wishing you the strength to become the best version of yourself.

    I would never tell you what to do, but I will share some tips that I keep in mind as I have a similar struggle as you and now for medical reasons have to be really mindful of what I eat. Remember that this is a marathon, not a sprint. There is a danger of tracking every calorie and macro, it often leads to worsening an ED. It's ok to eat a little more to feel satisfied. It's ok to ease up on controlling every morsel, instead just be mindful as you give yourself a portion and how you feel as you eat. Don't aim for perfection every day, aim for something like 75% clean food and 25% fun food. Don't worry about the calories or how you look or what you weigh. Even my own doc told me don't worry about the scale. When you get healthier, the weight loss will follow. And if you do binge, don't feel guilty. Just get back on track with mindful eating. No one ever got healthier from guilt and shame. Practice radical compassion to yourself!

    I commend you for cooking so much! I don’t see a problem with what you eat. I don’t have the best eating habits either. I also indulge in sugary and junky stuff everyday but I don’t beat myself up about it bc I work out 5 days a week and I do intermittent fasting. It’s all about balance.
    If you haven’t tried IF you should look into it. You can eat normally within your eating window (usually 8 hours). Doctors will tell you there are health benefits to it. I was doing it for a couple of years until the pandemic hit, and then I started again 1 year ago and I feel so much better bc I don’t feel bloated and sluggish every day. I go to bed feeling good and I wake up feeling good too. Also, I know that you work out but please keep up with your weight training it makes so much difference. Building muscle makes our bodies look strong and fit and it gives us energy and improves our mood too! Thanks for the video, it’s rare to see RUclipsrs keeping it real about what they eat.

    Well. This is a start. Low calorie or not, we all start somewhere. I started by eating my "safe" foods more often, and then building off of that. I had to get used to being okay with being full first, 3 times a day. Proud of ya 😌 peace and love!

    I would suggest to add more protein to your day of eating, it's important to build muscle and keep yourself satisfied
    Edit: I also struggled with overeating and then restricting to try and make up for it but 1) obviously these issues are rooted in psychological problems so look into that 2) if you just up your calorie intakes the other days it's easier not to binge later

    Be careful with too much konjac noodles. Those zero calorie noodles I’ve read can cause indigestion issues.

    This is my first time commenting on one of your videos since I’m mostly a silent supporter but after looking at the first meal that looked like it was barely 100 calories. I know your recovering and this is a realistic video but you should get in touch with a dietitian and really discuss an eating and nutrition plan. This is just a suggestion coming from someone who is also struggling with eating right now. Nutrition by Kylie is a licensed dietitian on RUclips and instagram maybe you can get in contact with her and even do a collaboration for both your channels. I would highly recommend you check her out she posts good food recipes. Her Moro is for us on what you can add rather than subtract. I hope we can both heal from this. Always supporting you. ❤❤❤

      The problem is not how much she has for one meal, because I think throughout the whole day she actually eats enough calorie wise. I think maybe she could use some more protein

    • @BookswithBriBri
      @BookswithBriBri 2 года назад +2

      @@pp-jt7mb a spaghetti squash is 42 calories all together half of that is 21 calories. I didn’t say what I said to condemn her. It’s concerning that that meal holds so little calories. I’m on the same path as her I’m so stress about food I end up eat cheap quick meals. I think she should see a dietitian that way she can get educated on nutritious food that can fill her up while staying in her caloric goal if she trying to cut her calories for her journey.

    Relearning how to feed your body, and nurture your body is hard. It’s true what another comment said, thinking about what you can add to meals to make them more filling and nutritious really helps. Add mushrooms, onions, carrots to spaghetti squash. Add Greek yogurt to desserts instead of whipped cream. Add cabbage, corn, carrots, potatoes to soups. Carbs aren’t evil, they help our bodies make energy. Protein helps build muscle. Chicken breast is good and low calorie, but it isn’t the only protein. Chicken thighs, steaks, pork loin, shrimp, salmon, tilapia, have so much more flavor and feel more satisfying.
    I’m not trying to police how you eat and it’s a journey. These thoughts just helped me, and made me not afraid of food. Food is amazing and delicious. It’s all about balance.
