I believe the reason Xatu got a Mega Evolution was because at that point, the game was starting development and one of the devs favorites was Xatu so Jack made a mega evolution for it as a thank you.

My Mazah region team: Grass starter Gastronaut - Grass/Ground Roadraptor - Electric/Flying Dunsendend - Normal/Flying Cryoger (Shiny) - Ice/Steel Mega Flygon - Dragon/Bug And, the legendary Pokemon Maripome - Bug/Fighting to round it off As for future fakemon region id as, Mykael Ryan just finished up his Norse Region called Fyrun. The gimmick for that region is you can turn the Pokemon into RPG-style weapons. Mykael also did 2 dlc style content and Legends in addition to the Fyrun region. Oh yeah, and the fan-favorite Cynitha makes a return as well.
My team for Pokémon Untamed as well as my favorites are Bathygigas, Mudsmaché, Mazaian Maractus, Gusteon, Cryoger and Suchobile. Also I'm excited for the Pokémon Untamed fan game to be fully finished and ready to play because I played the demo version and really enjoyed it 😄💕🎮🤞🏻

The BST's are all good lol. It's awesome but it trivializes having a strong mon if they are literally all strong. Maybe they should take 5 points off each stat but leave the highest stat alone. It would probably keep this region at about the same strength level as Paldea.

I'm going with this as my team, Gastronaut, as my starter choice, I like him though I also would have a playthrough with Bathygigas as well. My second team member is Geocoprion, because I love the ancient shark it's based on. Third team member is Peroxotal, I love it's design and typing as well. Fourth member is Gohila, this will be my mega mon, but I love both designs and really want something like this in the future. Fifth member is Gusteon, it's a cool take on a flying eeveelution. My Sixth team member is Crustang because a Muscle car crab sounds awesome to me. The Reserves I mainly have two, Mazian Gyarados and Vladikrab I love both and would use them in place of Geocoprion, and Peroxotal when needed during my playthrough.
All the pokemon are so cool and well made, its extremly hard to choose kne to be your teamate. Like how im gonna choose Yoronaqua when Mazahnian Gyarados exists!!
You know I think actually Fueccoco is meant to represent the snake with it serpentine body sort of like how the Fennekin-Braixen and Delphox are not dogs but have been categorised as such

I just recently purchased an FPGA GBC from FunnyPlaying and I saw you can write Pokemon Prism to a flashcart and then run it on there and as someone who likes Crystal but never got to really play it, I'd absolutely love to play some of these rom hacks. So your question is...... If they're any intense Gym Leaders in No Straight Roads, what type capablities they might even have? Well, in my vision, I seem to know the obvious kinds. Ahem..... DJ Subatomic Supernova specialized on Psychic-Types. Mainly it's because that he is once both a University Professor and Astrophysicist before becoming a DJ. And despite that, he still never gives up on his galaxy vibes. To start, DJ Subatomic Supernova would go with Beldum, Staryu, and an Elgyem Sayu is like a digital version of Misty who specialized on Water-Types. So to make it more obvious, both Female Frillish, Chinchou, and Brionne does fit perfectly while battling inside of an ocean I'll be honest, there's no mistake about Yinu being specialized on Ghost-Types when it's a reference to Phantom of the Opera. So a Drifloon, a Mimikyu, a Phantump, and a Crocalor when things gets too easy. But when they wanted make things too harder, you might encountered Yinu's Mother while having a Hisuian Zoroark, a Trevenant, a Palossand, and a Gengar that Gigantamaxed And though DK West is not what I called a Gym Leader-like NSR, he's still a Grass-Type Specialized dangerous foe. Especially when he has Lombre, Swadloon, Thwackey, and Hisuian Lilligant in his rappin' arsenal. Your Water-Type Starters are more doomed in any other lower level Speaking of which, many trainers will challenge one of Neon J.'s creations to a Steel-Type gym battle. White 1010 has Aggron, Yellow 1010 has Aegislash, Green 1010 has Copperajah, Blue 1010 has Alolan Sandslash, and Red 1010 has Kingambit. Go right ahead if you have Ground, Fire, and Fighting Types The second to last is a hippie like Eve, and for some reason..... Her Fairy-Type capablities has been like calming down any dragons (or so they say). And because of that, she's gonna go with Florges, Hatterene, Galarian Rapidash, Gardevoir, Aromatisse, and Sylveon are perfect choices for bright colors and feminine looks And lastly, both Maxie and Lysandre have finally met their match. I'm not even kidding when I say.... Tatiana Qwartz is the head honcho of NSR and new Queen of all Fire-Types. Both in character and behavior. Her 1st pets to start with are Pyroar and Houndoom. But what makes her the final Gym Leader in NSR is her backstory about the betrayal of Rock. Not to mentioned her fiery attacks via phases! Ceruledge for her Clock Hand Swords, Camerupt and Magmortar for her Magma Body, and even Chi-Yu for her gemstones. Note to you folks: UPGRADE YOUR WATER TYPES UP TO LEVEL 1,000,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So InfamousTrainer, any other questions?

The BST's are all good lol. It's awesome but it trivializes having a strong mon if they are literally all strong. Maybe they should take 5 points off each stat but leave the highest stat alone. It would probably keep this region at about the same strength level as Paldea.

Bananaw (Water/Grass): Covers the Water Fire Grass trio
Hibilbat (Dark/Steel): Levitate and possibly flying moves for the 4x weakness to Fighting

I'm going with this as my team, Gastronaut, as my starter choice, I like him though I also would have a playthrough with Bathygigas as well. My second team member is Geocoprion, because I love the ancient shark it's based on. Third team member is Peroxotal, I love it's design and typing as well. Fourth member is Gohila, this will be my mega mon, but I love both designs and really want something like this in the future. Fifth member is Gusteon, it's a cool take on a flying eeveelution. My Sixth team member is Crustang because a Muscle car crab sounds awesome to me. The Reserves I mainly have two, Mazian Gyarados and Vladikrab I love both and would use them in place of Geocoprion, and Peroxotal when needed during my playthrough.

All the pokemon are so cool and well made, its extremly hard to choose kne to be your teamate. Like how im gonna choose Yoronaqua when Mazahnian Gyarados exists!!
I found out about this game by jokingly telling my friend that there was a Poison/Ice type and looked it up.
You know I think actually Fueccoco is meant to represent the snake with it serpentine body sort of like how the Fennekin-Braixen and Delphox are not dogs but have been categorised as such
Mega Leguna is awesome! I just recently purchased an FPGA GBC from FunnyPlaying and I saw you can write Pokemon Prism to a flashcart and then run it on there and as someone who likes Crystal but never got to really play it, I'd absolutely love to play some of these rom hacks. I'm sure I am getting them mixed up 😅 but whichever is the Crystal Rom hack and I have never heard of this region but this is looking awesome! How do I play it and on what? DJ Subatomic Supernova specialized on Psychic-Types. Mainly it's because that he is once both a University Professor and Astrophysicist before becoming a DJ. And despite that, he still never gives up on his galaxy vibes. To start, DJ Subatomic Supernova would go with Beldum, Staryu, and an Elgyem
Sayu is like a digital version of Misty who specialized on Water-Types. So to make it more obvious, both Female Frillish, Chinchou, and Brionne does fit perfectly while battling inside of an ocean
I'll be honest, there's no mistake about Yinu being specialized on Ghost-Types when it's a reference to Phantom of the Opera. So a Drifloon, a Mimikyu, a Phantump, and a Crocalor when things gets too easy. But when they wanted make things too harder, you might encountered Yinu's Mother while having a Hisuian Zoroark, a Trevenant, a Palossand, and a Gengar that Gigantamaxed
And though DK West is not what I called a Gym Leader-like NSR, he's still a Grass-Type Specialized dangerous foe. Especially when he has Lombre, Swadloon, Thwackey, and Hisuian Lilligant in his rappin' arsenal. Your Water-Type Starters are more doomed in any other lower level
Speaking of which, many trainers will challenge one of Neon J.'s creations to a Steel-Type gym battle. White 1010 has Aggron, Yellow 1010 has Aegislash, Green 1010 has Copperajah, Blue 1010 has Alolan Sandslash, and Red 1010 has Kingambit. Go right ahead if you have Ground, Fire, and Fighting Types
The second to last is a hippie like Eve, and for some reason..... Her Fairy-Type capablities has been like calming down any dragons (or so they say). And because of that, she's gonna go with Florges, Hatterene, Galarian Rapidash, Gardevoir, Aromatisse, and Sylveon are perfect choices for bright colors and feminine looks
And lastly, both Maxie and Lysandre have finally met their match. I'm not even kidding when I say.... Tatiana Qwartz is the head honcho of NSR and new Queen of all Fire-Types. Both in character and behavior. Her 1st pets to start with are Pyroar and Houndoom. But what makes her the final Gym Leader in NSR is her backstory about the betrayal of Rock. Not to mentioned her fiery attacks via phases! Ceruledge for her Clock Hand Swords, Camerupt and Magmortar for her Magma Body, and even Chi-Yu for her gemstones. Note to you folks: UPGRADE YOUR WATER TYPES UP TO LEVEL 1,000,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
