I have Rahu, the creator of illusions, in my 4th house(home/mother/security) in Pisces- the sign of illusions in my birth chart. There are good days, and there are days when I fall back into the same rut. I am cautious not to indulge in toxic positivity and spiritual bypassing by disowning what I actually feel in order to appear strong or to prevent discomfort to those around me. I want to acknowledge, accept and integrate my shadow self into the whole. I've had some difficult planetary placements in my birth chart(Rahu in 4th, debilitated Sun, Saturn in Scorpio and Ketu in my 10th house) and experienced a lot of mental turmoil throughout my young age, but now, as I am nearing my mid-30s, I am starting to kind of feel better- so that's a relief :)

The way I see it, if something hasn't killed you, then it has got to give you something that others do not have. I see it as getting bent, not broken. Processing pain is necessary because only when you feel can you heal. However, be careful not to drown in the pain. You are worth more than that. There will always be weak moments, but don't let them turn into a 'weak lifetime'. Read the Bhagwad Gita. It has been of immense help in combating the emotional turmoil for me. Best wishes!

It took me 28-30 odd years to come to terms with the fact that beneath that 'bhola bhala facade' that she uses to fool outsiders, she is an extremely insensitive, self-absorbed, insecure and envious woman who hated me from the get go. My father is also a narcissist and a very evil person who cannot take it when people around him are happy, speaks ill of people behind their backs and criticises people who are successful/talented. My sibling is the golden child. Basically all three are emotional takers and cannot give one drop. Home life, familial bonds, my sense of security at home- all of it has been an illusion in my life. My parents are the reason I lost faith in humanity. How cool is that!
I think as a society we need to stop putting parents(especially mothers)on a pedestal. There are far too many evil and abusive parents out there. There is a reason why old age homes in India are jam-packed and no, it isn't always because children are evil. There are two sides to every coin. About time we start looking at the other side.

There are good days, and there are days when I fall back into the same rut. I am cautious not to indulge in toxic positivity and spiritual bypassing by disowning what I actually feel in order to appear strong or to prevent discomfort to those around me. I want to acknowledge, accept and integrate my shadow self into the whole.
I've had some difficult planetary placements in my birth chart(Rahu in 4th, debilitated Sun, Saturn in Scorpio and Ketu in my 10th house) and experienced a lot of mental turmoil throughout my young age, but now, as I am nearing my mid-30s, I am starting to kind of feel better- so that's a relief :)

The way I see it, if something hasn't killed you, then it has got to give you something that others do not have. I see it as getting bent, not broken. Processing pain is necessary because only when you feel can you heal. However, be careful not to drown in the pain. You are worth more than that. There will always be weak moments, but don't let them turn into a 'weak lifetime'. Read the Bhagwad Gita. It has been of immense help in combating the emotional turmoil for me. Best wishes!
