I needed this! Just want to be sure I understand correctly though. In order for me to isolate the run I'm interested in, I'd want to look at and zoom in in the part of the graph with the highest peaks? Thanks!
Pretty much, but most people end up with a few "peaks" in their logs. You can look at other clues like the throttle input and check the timing to help you find the right data, though. For example, if it took you about 5 minutes after power-up to get lined up for your pass, you can skip to around the 300sec mark in the log to start looking for the data you care about. You'll figure it out in no time. Thanks for watching! 😃
@@RCPhysics So if I found the highest and lowest throttle inputs, would that be the run and what I zoom in on? I like the idea if using that reading as a guide.
@@JimmyKay1976 You should be able to spot when you lined up and started the run by looking at your throttle vs. rpm & power. You know you have the run because all 3 should have peaks.
hey great job ! I've been self taught.... Info like this is greatly appreciated from people like me👍 Thank-you for the great tutorial you're a assit to the community🍻
You can use either the Castle Link USB programmer or the Castle field programming card, which has a USB link built into it. Links to both are below. You should have received a code for a free USB interface or a field programming card for $10 with your ESC. www.castlecreations.com/en/castle-link-v3-usb-programming-kit-011-0119-00 www.castlecreations.com/en/field-link-for-driving-010-0063-00
My electric losi 3.0e goes 100mph. But now it wont go over 80mph. I use a 6s battery. I swith between 2 different ones. Go to 100 on both.. but now not past 80 on both.. can it be cap pack? Or u think esc?
Do I need to disconnect my rx wire before linking my castle link card to my computer? I'm waiting for my castle link to come in mail as we speak, mamba monster x sensored esc 1515!
You connect to Castle Link through the channel 2 wire, so you have to unplug it from the Rx to gain access to it. You can leave the Channel 3 wire plugged in on all X-Series ESCs except the Mamba XLX, which needs Chan 2 & Chan 3 unplugged from the Rx to avoid hurting the ESC. You can leave the card plugged into the computer while plugging into and unplugging from the car, though.
rhouse21 - RC Physics my esc has a spare castle link wire for the castle link to eliminate the need to have to unplug the rx wire. At least that's what I've read. I just got it and haven't hooked it up yet but it's a spare wire plug same as the rx wires just this one don't plug into anything but the castle link?
Yup! You got it now! So, you can leave the Aux wire plugged in on the MMX and you do not have to worry about unplugging the programming card from the computer as you plug into and unplug from your car. There's a LOT of capability in Castle Link. Enjoy!

Castle Data logging ground ESC's are the Mamba XL2, Mamba XLX, Mamba Monster M, and Mamba X. They also have several data logging aircraft ESC's but I don't want to give you an incorrect list. You can check their website or just download Castle Link and check out the various ESCs in "Demo mode" to see if logging is offered.
Your video is still helpful to this day man thanks
Thanks! I have an update for the newer version of Castle Link, too.

Ok read the drivers ed guide... The 1 wire is the rx wire and the other wire I was referring to is the aux wire!!
