A Murray forhand of 199 km/h (124 mph) was recorded. Once. After that, which was in 2011, he's been chasing the the record of the slowest forehand ever instead.

@@anujjyothykumar4667 I like Murray a lot and really root for him, but I can't for the world understand why he doesn't use a forehand he obviously has, instead opting for a safer shot that wins him less and less the slower he gets with age. But I agree, it sounded a bit harsh if the disappointed irony didn't come out as intended.

@@johnandersson8258 it's the same for me with monfils, he can hit monster forehands like no ones bussiness but instead chooses to lob it 95% of the time

Great video! I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that a MASSIVE 100mph forehand is way more satisfying than like a random tweener which tbh is much less technically impressive (Although obviously it requires a lot of racket talent). I would love a part 2 btw!

Delpo's hammer forehands can occupy the first few spots. Some of the shots featured weren't anywhere near the fastest. Winners tend to look faster than they really are.
Also, I think Federer's tweener against Djokovic in the USO 2009 SF was pretty fast for the type of shot it was and perhaps could have been included.

One of the fastest could be the one by Nicolas Kiefer from 2005 vs Federer in US Open but wasn't measured. It was in the forth set after 4:3 games.
