Young Drummer Boy opened up to VladTV about getting buzz with his 2015 mixtape, High Forever, which featured one of his biggest songs to date, "Coke Dealer." He went on to speak about being compared to Nipsey Hussle and doing a show with him in Ontario.
During the conversation, Young Drummer Boy shared his thoughts on Donald Trump's comments on Mexican immigrants. He also spoke about his father immigrating from Mexico and the Mexican cartels being more serious than any U.S. gang, which you can hear more about above.

Plus he achieved a lot by being an independent artist who *only* had 1 studio album out a year before he died which sold 50,000 first week. I truly believe he was going to get mainstream recognition once he had put out more albums because remember he only released mixtapes up until 2018.
