Many friends told her to sell it, but she felt, that she needed to give it to someone, who would apriciate it as mush as she did. Agree 100% that you need to do this performance. It is like the reaction you did for SOS that he sang for Biden’s inauguration. I think you said that prior versions were perfect but this was just better. I didn’t think there would be a better version of Love is Like a Dream than the one he did in the burgundy velvet suit. But this is just better. I don’t know what he did during his pandemic lockdown, but he has come back with something special.

I agree with you about his stage movement, particularly on his dance songs. Before it was like he was moving his feet, now it's like his feet are moving him. (Or as a male friend said of this performance, "he looks very springy!") In classical vocals, there's a deeply embedded muscle memory where the feet are the most important part of supporting the vocal mechanism. The feet are the platform that must be as firmly planted as a tree's roots growing into the ground. It couldn't have been easy for Dimash counteracting his years of classical training. It's taken him a while, but he's liberated his feet! Now they can move him across the stage without his mental focus...it's an entirely new muscle memory! We'll never know how many hundreds of hours of practice it's taken, or what he had to do (or undo in this case) to achieve this. But it's awesome to see the result.
Great insights! When I first saw this, I also noticed immediately the progress in his (dance) performance skills. He moves so naturally now. Even those MJ moves are somehow a part of him, they don't seem an imitation or out of place at all. Previously, with these fast pop numbers I was a bit worried sometimes, if it worked well, but now - not at all😀 I enjoyed this immensely. What a great worker he is. I also think his learning ability is unusually great. Determination, diligence, focus, intelligence, whatever is needed... He has it all, and he really uses it.

Slavic Bazaar is hugely important as it launched Dimash 6 years ago to all the CIS countries when he won the competition & he has returned regularly as a guest performer. This year he was invited to be a Judge as well - he loves nurturing young people’s talent (he & his family organise an annual one in Kazakhstan). So he definitely feels relaxed & at home here & was clearly so excited to be back on stage after the pandemic. The winner of the Slavic Bazaar 2015, invited guest and member of the jury of the pop song competition Dimash Kudaibergen, took part in the opening ceremony of the XXX International Art Festival "Słowiański Bazar" in Vitebsk. 2021. In the final of the concert, he performed two compositions - one in Russian, the other in Kazakh and English. With the song Be With Me, he stimulated the audience and viewers who watched the concert online live. Being true to himself, at the end of the performance, Dimash went down to the hall and finished the song with the audience. And after the concert, he had a long talk with Dears and signed autographs. The artist, like fans of his work, was incredibly happy that after a long pandemic they met again and performed their favorite compositions together.On July 17 and 18, 2021, a competition concert takes place in Vitebsk in which Dimash acts as a juror. On July 15, Dimash's mother celebrated her birthday.
It's so great to see Dimash back on stage where he belongs. You can see how much he is enjoying it all. DEARS are thrilled to see him live! Yes you are tripping about the rap. It is there in the mv during the fight scene. He must have really dazzled you with his stunt skills since you didn't even notice that fast flow in his Kazakh rap. lol

It's fun to compare this performance with his 2018 SOS performance. He came out looking so shy and conservative with his blue suit. He did some moves, but no dancing - not really a danceable song. Now he's all over the place, totally confident, owning the stage and being super sexy! It's been great to watch his progression.
So much fun, Fil. What amazes me is how he can keep every note perfectly while he dances, and moves around, and in some of his other performances when he jumps to his knees and never loses momentum. It's also nice to see him having so much fun with this performance.

He's clearly happy to be back on the stage. There is rapping in the original, but it seems like there is a bit more in this one (probably because there is no fight scene). I don't like rap.....but I love Dimash's rap, all those rolling "r" and the pronunciation sounds so difficult and so fast. Love it.

I agree with you about his stage movement, particularly on his dance songs. Before it was like he was moving his feet, now it's like his feet are moving him. (Or as a male friend said of this performance, "he looks very springy!") In classical vocals, there's a deeply embedded muscle memory where the feet are the most important part of supporting the vocal mechanism. The feet are the platform that must be as firmly planted as a tree's roots growing into the ground. It couldn't have been easy for Dimash counteracting his years of classical training. It's taken him a while, but he's liberated his feet! Now they can move him across the stage without his mental focus...it's an entirely new muscle memory! We'll never know how many hundreds of hours of practice it's taken, or what he had to do (or undo in this case) to achieve this. But it's awesome to see the result.
Great insights! When I first saw this, I also noticed immediately the progress in his (dance) performance skills. He moves so naturally now. Even those MJ moves are somehow a part of him, they don't seem an imitation or out of place at all. Previously, with these fast pop numbers I was a bit worried sometimes, if it worked well, but now - not at all😀 I enjoyed this immensely. What a great worker he is. I also think his learning ability is unusually great. Determination, diligence, focus, intelligence, whatever is needed... He has it all, and he really uses it.

Slavic Bazaar is hugely important as it launched Dimash 6 years ago to all the CIS countries when he won the competition & he has returned regularly as a guest performer. This year he was invited to be a Judge as well - he loves nurturing young people’s talent (he & his family organise an annual one in Kazakhstan). So he definitely feels relaxed & at home here & was clearly so excited to be back on stage after the pandemic. The winner of the Slavic Bazaar 2015, invited guest and member of the jury of the pop song competition Dimash Kudaibergen, took part in the opening ceremony of the XXX International Art Festival "Słowiański Bazar" in Vitebsk. 2021. In the final of the concert, he performed two compositions - one in Russian, the other in Kazakh and English. With the song Be With Me, he stimulated the audience and viewers who watched the concert online live. Being true to himself, at the end of the performance, Dimash went down to the hall and finished the song with the audience. And after the concert, he had a long talk with Dears and signed autographs. The artist, like fans of his work, was incredibly happy that after a long pandemic they met again and performed their favorite compositions together.On July 17 and 18, 2021, a competition concert takes place in Vitebsk in which Dimash acts as a juror. On July 15, Dimash's mother celebrated her birthday.

Okinish ( Regret) Have you done this? His composition. The song is so wonderful. He has presented it only that one time.
It's fun to compare this performance with his 2018 SOS performance. He came out looking so shy and conservative with his blue suit. He did some moves, but no dancing - not really a danceable song. Now he's all over the place, totally confident, owning the stage and being super sexy! It's been great to watch his progression.
So much fun, Fil. What amazes me is how he can keep every note perfectly while he dances, and moves around, and in some of his other performances when he jumps to his knees and never loses momentum. It's also nice to see him having so much fun with this performance.

He's clearly happy to be back on the stage. There is rapping in the original, but it seems like there is a bit more in this one (probably because there is no fight scene). I don't like rap.....but I love Dimash's rap, all those rolling "r" and the pronunciation sounds so difficult and so fast. Love it.
