Man I loved your book!! I am normally asleep by 930, and I was up until 1am! I just cried on my pillow listening to you talk about each of your children’s personalities. The way you are able to put those feelings into words is something they will treasure in the future. I came from a family where I don’t have a mother who appreciates me or recognizes me and I know that is such a treasure. It encouraged me to make sure I include that in my journals as I hope my kids will read them one day.
I purchased your book on audible. I loved it so much. I couldn’t put it down and finished it in 2 days. I’m a foster mom and you spoke straight to my heart. ❤️❤️
This happened to me on Friday went in for pet food left with cat toys, a bunch of skin care, and like three dresses. Target quarantine amnesia for sure 😂
So the natural deodorant I really suggest is Schmidt's Bergamot + Lime but I have a routine for applying it. First in the shower use an antibacterial soap under your arms. This will wash any leftover bacteria that causes the smell in sweat. Then outside the shower I use witch hazel (put it on my face and then under my arms). Helps close pores. Then I heat up the deodorant with a lighter because I dont have patience or live somewhere humid where it stays in a melted form. Then i apply it. GIRL IT WORKS. I was at a point where i felt like i needed something stronger then prescription strength. I've never had better luck with any other deodorant. This process works!

E-cloth glass cloths: clean windows- no chemicals- no streaks- seriously. I was skeptical- but these are awesome.

Have you tried Oil Cleansing Method? I have really dry skin and the store bought products just never worked well. So I use OCM to take off make up, a homemade mix of avocado, sunflower seed and argan oils whipped with raw Shea butter..it takes a while to soak in so I only use that at night. In the morning I just use a tiny amount of argan oil

If you don't mind the vinegar smell, try the recipe I have from Clean my Space, half water half vinegar, mixed in a spray bottle. It perfectly works even for my glass from the shower ;)

My hard copy of your book arrived here in Germany yesterday 🥳 but I already read it on tuesday as ebook because I decided to treat myself for completing my 4 month project in my masters degree (engineering) and just buy both versions 🤩 loved it and love having it on my bookshelf!

I live in SC and finally went to Target yesterday too. Yep tons of stuff just hopped into my cart. 🤷🏻♀️🤣 They are opening up our state on Monday, but we are going to try to stay quarantined just a bit longer and see how it all goes.
I shopped Kohl's clearance online for summer clothes for my little girls. Sometimes the clearance is cheaper than second hand stores. Found coupon codes online too.

Have you ever tried Beautycounter? I don’t sell it - just a happy customer 😀. My skin was wrecked two years ago after my third baby. I have used their products for a year, just turned 37 and my skin has never been better. I previously liked Drunk Elephant but agree about that moisturizer. The Beautycounter Countertime Soft Cream and Supreme Cream are hands down the best moisturizers I have ever used and I feel the price is reasonable for how long they last.

I LOVE banana baby food. I felt that in my soul! I actually craved it while pregnant with my daughter and it was the only baby food she didn’t like. I think she was banana’d out 🤣

I think it's in denmark where they eat baby food at all ages and it's totally normal. My mom has muscular dystrophy and her throat muscles are really weak. She's going to try making baby food soon to eat.

In my hunt for natural deo many years ago, i tried the Lavanilla as well. As much I loved the smell, I felt like you were saying that I needed to reapply and just felt... moist?? ewww... lol. BUT I then tried the Schmidts natural deodorant and have never turned back. I highly recommend it (bergamot and lime is my fave scent). You don't need to apply very much and it actually keeps you dry and smelling fresh. Everybody's body is different but it has worked wonders for me! I think sometimes it takes our bodies a bit of time to adjust to natural deodorant as well, but worth the wait for no nasty chemicals.

Honestly I really love the Grove brand glass cleaner concentrate. I wasn’t sure how it would do compared to other brands but I got it for free and I love it!
Little seed Farm has amazing deodorant!! It’s all natural, smells amazing and it definitely keeps your dry.
If you really like the lotion with the slow pump you could just dump it out into a little plastic tub so that you can just scoop some in your hand when you need it.
I am pleased to say I’m on page 151 so almost done and it is a very happy and uplifting story I really am enjoying it and I do have a hard time putting it down. ❤️

La Vanilla is def my fav natural deodorant, I've used it for years but recently I have found a true game changer. Pacifica Coconut & Charcoal Underarm Detox Scrub.. it's $15 from Ulta and I don't know what it does that's so magical but I really think it helps with not feeling so gross and sticky. Also it's a fairly large tub, you don't need much for both under arms, it'll last forever (and I don't feel like I need to use it everyday)

I've also been on the hunt for a natural deodorant that actually works. I saw something recently that said it might not be working because you need to "detox" the pits first. Get all the old chemical gunk out so the pure stuff has a chance. I haven't gotten the supplies to try it yet, but I think you make a mask of bentonite clay and apple cider vinegar.
Target is honestly one of those stories that I go to mostly for snacks and novelty stuff which includes the panda with a snorkel cup Is it the most necessary stuff not exactly but it's relaxing and they don't mind the Chihuahua so it's a win-win
My mom unapologetically buys baby banana jars to eat. She’s like 45 and has grandkids. 😂
Things jump in my cart too, you're not the only one! Lol I have dry and sensitive skin so, I stopped using any soaps with sodium laurel sulfate. It has helped a lot. For natural deodorant I use Acure or Schmidt's. Congratulations on the book launch!
If you're willing to spend redken prices you should try briogio. Theyer amazing and cruelty free and come in huge bottles that last forever. Amika is fantastic too. Their hair mask saved my bleached hair. It would also be great for your boys hair. My mom and I have curly hair and it's our favorite. I used to use redken only and made the switch
You can use lemon juice on your hair then go outside in the sun and it will lighten your hair. You will need to condition it well afterwards and it won't be as fast as the salon, but it's natural and lemons are not expensive. You can also use pineapple, but it's got to be fresh.

I have that exact same Drunk Elephant moisturizer- protini, I think, with the greenish/teal top? It was hellaaa expensive and I didn’t ever notice a difference in my 32 year old skin 🤷🏼♀️ Will definitely be using something else after it’s gone. For Dry Shampoo: use baby talcum powder ( I use Johnson's Baby ) but it has to be a dry one, if that makes sense. There is no point in buying dry shampoo, when talcum does a better job. You probably have some at home anyway, so give it a try :)
Buy an e-cloth for cleaning windows it will change your life! I cannot clean windows without streaks no matter what I try but I bought an e-cloth and it cleans and polishes windows with just water in seconds. It cost around £10 on the U.K., just chuck it in the washing machine now and again and air dry and it’s saved me hundreds since I bought it on glass cleaner!
A good dupe for the drunk elephant peptide moisturizer is the peterthomasroth lift and firm moisturizer! It is $10 more but has twice the amount of product and has better packaging and is more moisturizing
For a thick and extremely moisturizing cream, I love the Cerave Moisture Cream and I use it on my face and body (I get the CVS version cuz it's a couple bucks cheaper) and for the day time if I need a lot of moisture, I love the ordinary moisturizing factors + HA (it's 8 bucks!)

If you have dry skin, the one with retinol should go in the eve, you need something without retinol am. Try Cerave, it's inexpensive and very rich, great ingredients. In re: deodorants - I'm in the same camp. Tried them all, get irritation if I sweat. Vanicream for sensitive skin without aluminum is the best one out there. Yes, it's not all natural, but it doesn't have aluminum and parabens, so it's the best out there . Good luck! Oh, and batiste dry shampoo is excellent, I love it even more than claraine
I highly recommend Hairitage by Mindy McKnight. IT is currently only carried at Walmart.

For the boys hair, you can use oils to hydrate their hair, like the coconut oil.
And for moisturizing, did you ever try Cerave? They're really powerful, works great

I use vinegar as a glass cleaner. I use the Venus razor and it’s awesome!!! I don’t mind sweat but I wear deodorant. I dye my own hair. U have to put more on the roots especially if it’s a different colour. The brown one looks better for your roots. I’ve onli seen normal dry shampoos. Not seen any that do more than clean hair yet. I use shampoo that helps my hair keep nice and it’s awesome. That lotion may be teaching u patience. I need this oh it’s not on my list, oh well it’s cool so I’m glad I bought it.

I don’t think it’s weird that you would eat a jar of baby food, especially the bananas! I had my tonsils out when I was 24. I had complications. So I didn’t eat solid food for almost 6 weeks. I developed a love of baby food bananas!

Have you tried the Lume’ deodorant? It’s online and I love it. It’s good for 3 days if you need it to and can be used on other parts of your body if needed. If you haven’t tried it look into it. Sometimes it smells weird for a few minutes but it goes away and you can’t smell anything.
Just ordered your book via Audible. Now just have to keep my kids occupied enough to listen without interruptions for 5 minutes
