Oops (I think). “1 million Watts per day” does not make sense. A Watt is a unit of power, not of energy!
But since 1W=1J/sec 1mioWatt per day is just 1mioJoule/second/day and Joule is the energy.
They literally say "1 million Watts of power per day". Leaving words out in citation isn't really a nice thing to do

Space exploration continues to fascinate. I remember Juri Gagarin's flight, the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions and spending hours glued to the TV watching men walk on the moon's surface. Today's telescopes are an absolute wonder and offer so much more insight than I had ever dreamed possible. Thanks ESA, for your many interesting videos!

Is there any chance that Earendel provides heat to the planets near it? Are there any plans to research the planets near Earendel to find out if the light shining from it provides the necessities we have on earth? Very interesting discovery for the possibility of life beyond earth.

ESA always has a way of presenting things. Ranging from fun to beautiful. It's like these guys always put in the extra effort to ensure that whatever they put out is as perfect as they can get it. Like, NASA is good. They're cool and all. But ESA is playing a whole other game...

The ISS generates 1 million 'Watts per day'? Can someone at the ESA explain what Watts per day is? I would expect the ESA to do better.

How do you generate 1 million Watts per day on the ISS? Watt as a unit is already "Joules per second", so what are you measuring in 1 million Watts per day? 11 W/s!? Did you mean you generate 1 million Wh per day?
They thought there was a limit to brightness. They were wrong.
The ESA should not use Miles for astronomical measures
