    If you trim those long vines from your plant, it will encourage the plant to get fuller rather than leggy. Stick them in water to form roots and add to your existing plant or plant a new one. Your home is lovely!

    Your home is so lovely and so very clean! You are blessed by the Lord for your devotion to Him in praying about everything no doubt. I think you have a beautiful kitchen but will be excited to see the changes in your reno. I grow the same plant and you can cut the long pieces and put them in water to form roots and then make new pots (well that is what I do) or you could give them to a friend because they are easy to care for so I am sure someone would want them.

    I love it that you talk about the LORD Sarah. You’re helping me from afar over here in Sea/WA. You’re reminding me he cares about the interior decorating, cooking, house work, laundry, & the care we all like to put into our plants & animals. He wants us all to be happy in what some would consider to be a mundane thing like home making. Especially if it’s something you love. The beige carpet looks wonderful in your bedroom. I bet you got that inspiration from Andrea (Home & Prospect). I was eyeing it too. I’m curious though, you titled this video the “last COZY home making day in your cottage…” & then on your cite home page it says you’re saying goodbye. Are you discontinuing your cite or are you moving? Blessings ♥️🐑🕊🇺🇸🌎

      @jamiebowden4707 11 месяцев назад +2

      @@SarahsOctoberHome Well yours are quite long and very healthy, so if you trim say 12" off of a couple of the longer stems, you can trim those into smaller 4" of 5" lengths to stick in a new pot making a nice full plant. Does that make sense?

    • @jolynnpuente347
      @jolynnpuente347 11 месяцев назад

      Sarah, you don’t NEED to cut them if you don’t want to. My Aunt had one and she trained it to go all around her living room. I have one too that’s really long and I’m going to train mine to go around my foyer. It’s nice a bright and gets decent sun. These don’t really need a ton of sunlight. They can get away with low light as well.

    My title would have to be ‘Hanging on to every moment of fall before winter’!! I actually do a bigger fall cleaning than in spring. I let go of fall like a child being dragged out of Disney World!!😂😂 I have some exclusively outside cats I care for and the colder winter months, even in NW Florida, I get a constant case of ‘weather nerves’. I don’t like the hard storms that come before colder weather here for worry over the cats. We have heat lamps set up in three locations for them to stay warm but help me pray to get them some new pieces of weatherproofing to keep rain out!! I pray about every little thing too! You’re so encouraging. Praying for wisdom in every detail of our life is so important. I try to do that myself, but I realized, after you mentioning it, that I’ve been neglecting this. Thank you for the gentle reminder. Also, what homeschool curriculum are you using for the girls? I need to find a good LA and History curriculum for my kids. We use Teaching Textbooks for Math and they enjoy that. ☺️

    What are you using to spray down while cleaning? Your kitchen doesn't look like it needs anything. It is beautiful just as is. Are you moving from this cottage?

    Prune your plant. Root each leaf that has a node to create more plants! I believe your plant is a pothos
