Also... Sea World Orlando is probably done with coasters for a while.. They already announced they are shifting their focus to better theming and more family rides to compete with other parks in the area.
Record breaking command them just breaking the steepest drop on it not the tallest and this was planned pre-cedar fair six flags I predict it be about 190 and i about 98 record beyond vertical drop with 5 inversions Record breaking break don’t mean the tallest drive. Coaster one out there
As much as I would love Beast to be open during Winterfest, I doubt it. From what I understand they do extensive off season maintenance as soon as Halloween is over and if it's open during the winter, it might not be ready for spring. Can't say that for certain obviously, but it would make sense
Magic Mountain being mentioned in any of your videos always gets my attention. I can't wait for the new coaster and I'm hoping they're going to try to compete with Hollywood Drift. I'm glad I rode Kumba for my first time this year and picked up a shirt with these rumors especially because I never made it to Kingda Ka. I need to make it to all the closures.
I live in Florida. Definitely think Rip Ride Rocket will close at the end of 2025. Imo they will make a custom Intamin drift coaster just like in Hollywood themed to Fast n Furious. It will start at the current Fast n Furious building and wrap around all the way to the terrible Jimmy Fallon ride. They will use the current Fast n Furious building for the que. They will also have an indoor section for the coaster to utilize for an onride preshow. Seaworld Orlando will not get a new coaster until 2030. I also think Busch Garden Tampa will get a B&M hyper, Mack Stryker, or extreme spinner in the Kumba plot in 2028.
I could see GAdv replace Kingda Ka with 400ft Mack Spinning Tower coaster, mostly because it might extremely hard to replace something very iconic and would likely attempt to have pay a tribute to it. Unless GAdv requested a turn table to be added, capacity would be severely limited.
I don't think they'll go above 400 feet again because of the astronomical cost, and the fact that they wouldn't get to market "tallest coaster" anymore
100% Universal announces the closure of HRRR... Also, 100% they DO NOT announce what is actually replacing it in 2025... They'll announce a new Lemonade stand.
When they removed the secret playlist I knew it was closing. No other reason they would do it otherwise. Here’s hoping they put a drift coaster from Intamin!
@@KeepRidinCoastersthe reason why he said that is because when velocicoaster was getting built they said it was a churro stand because they didn’t want to drop their plans
I fear for the future of Six Flags America (my home park). I'm about 3 hours from Great Adventure/Dorney Park; 2 hours from Hersheypark and Kings Dominion so ....
I think Falcon's Flight will close a lot when it is opens due to downtime, it the first of it's type ride with a buttload of sensors so I could see downtime more on the computer/electrical side. I give it a 50/50 shot to go down due to severe mechanical issue like the trains but not TT2 levels something that the ride has to close but not a whole year maybe a few months, I think the bearings in the wheel and maybe the part that contacts the rail will wear quicker than a traditional coaster due to being the fastest coaster no other ride experienced that speed (I think formula Rossa comes close). To develop better bearings or wheels (looking at the gigas millie and I305)
I can't wait for the 2025 season, it'll be an unforgettable year for theme parks everywhere! As for my personal predictions for theme parks and coasters during that year, here's what I could see happen: - We will see the new Six Flags start to invest in some of their lower-tier parks (i.e. Six Flags America, Valleyfair, Michigan's Adventure) - SeaWorld Orlando will look to open a few new flat rides. - I predict that RMC will give Hurler at Carowinds the wood-steel hybrid conversion. - Instead of removing the ride, SFMM might look to give Superman the Escape a much-needed refurbishment. - HersheyPark will become the first park ever to build a Giga coaster that intertwines with their Hyper coaster. - I predict that Lost Island Theme Park will look to focus on some much-needed park improvements. - Epic Universe will definitely be a home run for Universal Orlando Resort. - Busch Gardens Tampa will announce a major new coaster investment for the 2026 season. - Kings Island will announce their next major coaster that will replace Invertigo and Congo Falls. BTW, I hope you have a safe and merry Christmas! 🎄🎄🎅🏻🎁🎁
Going to bgt next week. Been tracking kumba and it keeps saying “closed for the day” including today 12/23 curious to see what the future holds I am hoping to ride this but not sure here
My 2025 Coaster/Park Predictions 1. CP will announce a waterpark expansion for 2026 2. Six Flags Project Accelerate will claim the Bat at KI 3. Universal Studios Orlando will announce HRRR will close in 2025! 4. Silver Dollar City will close Outlaw Run and replace the topper track with Iron Horse track for 2026 5. TT2 will have more downtime in 2025 6. CP will either close TT2 Permanently after 2025 or hire Intamin to fix TT2 for 2026! 7. KI announcement for 2026 will be a Huge Letdown for the KI Fanboys 8. RMC will announce more conversions and ground up Hybrids over seas in 2026! 9. DONKEY KONG Mine Cart Madness will be the sleeper hit at Epic Universe! 10. BGT will announce the biggest coaster investment in park history for 2026!
I have a bold prediction for my country: I predict (and hope) that in 2025 an italian park will be announcing at least one new major coaster. It could be Gardaland, Mirabilandia, Magicland... anybody. Italy hasn't received a new thrill coaster since 2015, so we're way overdue for one...
As a 25+ year season pass holder for California's Great America, I am definitely crying myself to sleep tonight 😭😭. But if you do make it here next year I would love to give you some tips!
If you come to Northern California be sure to go to Santa Cruz beach boardwalk. Honestly if both six flags close we’re still great with Santa Cruz and Tahoe ski resorts
I predict that part of the KingDaKa structure will remain and be used in the New ride. I also think it would be really cool if they could convert Superman Escape into a tilt coaster, or in anyway keep the tower and incorporate it into a new Tallest Fallest
On Hershey, literally no chance, the township won't allow it. I believe even Candy was pushing the height the township would go for. A 26 coaster could happen, however the waterpark is WAY overdue for something
I mentioned this previously in a diff vid about Kingda Ka. Looking at the lack of care about the grounds that need some serious serious TLC. If they don't maintain the park grounds, what does that say about how they take care of the rides ???? I have no desire to go to that park........get in there in the spring ahead of opening day and clean up the parks make them look beautiful and inviting.
The beast at winterfest would be sweet, putting a giga next to a hyper and interacting together would be awesome, and holiday world really needs a fast long hyper
Here's a thought Brandon, and your going to love this but...I know universal Hollywood is building an intamin but ya know kondaa overseas what if that's what magic mountain is doing for 2026....that's certainly a first of its kind in the us...thoughts
Yeah. Hershey is already in full dig mode in Chocolatetown, right behind Candymonium. Giga might have to involve a lot of negotiations with Derry Township, but it's happened before with Kissing Tower, Skyrush and Candymonium. Money always talks. Predict a Screamin' Swing there in 2025. Might be right.
I went to Six Flags Magic mountain 1 time and that 1 time superman was closed I'm going back in a few months and It will reallllllllly suck if it never opens back up :(
I think TT2 operates about 80% of the time, being ready for opening day. Siren’s Curse will open late June and have a low amount of issues. My home park is Kennywood, and I’m gonna go out on a limb and say Steel Curtain is ready for opening day and operates most of the season. I’ll probably live to regret that, but I’m gonna do it! Also, at the end of 2025 Dollywood announces a huge new indoor ride for 2026, that’ll be built behind Big Bear Mountain.
3:30 Every park that Six Flags is operating through a contract: Frontier City La Ronde Six Flags Darien Lake & Hurricane Harbor Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Concord Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Oklahoma City Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Rockford Six Flags Hurricane Harbor SplashTown
I am more confident in TT2, I give it 90% operation. Ka's replacement needs at least 1 100MPH intense launch. Montazooma'a replace has been announced for 25.
TT2 85%+ uptime - more riders on TT2 in 2025 than TTD's best year! CP will announce something to replace Snake River Falls and/or new slides in CPS to replace the one removed. Maybe the same one KI is getting? I think the snake river replacement will be 2027 though. I would go back for winterfest at KI if the beast is running. A ride on the beast in freezing temps and possibly snow would be fantastic! Hoping to get to Epic Universe for spring break in 2026. Our 2025 spring break trip will be Disney (not our first choice by my sister works there so we get 3 out of our 4 tickets for free). 2024 spring break was carowinds then pigeon forge (but didn't make it to Dollywood). 2023 was Sea World Orlando and Disney.
I definitely could see some Parks getting sold off. Interns of parks with management contracts. The water parks ( the ones that are not able to operate year round, and aren’t bringing in enough visitors) will be sold off, possibly even relocate some slides to other parks. Darien Lake will probably get bought ( Has Hotel, campsite, major concert venue, lots of room to expand both in and out of park) But I can see attractions being removed from a lot of these parks. ( especially ones that have lots of really old attractions) Rides like Enterprises, Slingshots, Skycoasters , Go karts , Parotropers, old school carnival rides etc. it’s likely we also will see themed areas being brought back in( like Peanuts and DC. I know they have Looney toons but Snoopy is just better ) . Parks to keep eyes on - likely we will start to see big make overs if the park over the next couple years . (1) Great Adventure (2) Great Escape (3) Darien Lake ( 4) Worlds of fun
