I moved Houston from Virginia where I lived for almost 20 years . I love and miss Virginia! Lots of flashbacks in here with Arlington, very beautiful in seasons and laybacks kind of place.
What fond memories. Grew up in Arlington during the 50’s. Remember the pony ride and especially Glen Echo. My family lived in the same neighborhood for 5 generations. Thank you so much!
Thanks for posting! This is some good urban planning here. Pedestrian friendly city designed with rail transit, green space, and more. Definitely thinking about moving here.
I grew up in small rural town in Virginia and I must say I love Virginia wish I had never moved to the big apple which is New York City Virginia is my home forever even if I’m not t living there any more.
Does anyone knows about the weather there in Arlington? This Michigan weather is crazy! I live in Detroit, although Detroit is making a comeback there is a lot to be desire.
A-town weather. Summer: Humid as hell and hot as a furnace, moderate rainfall. Winter: Pretty Cold, sometimes down to 15 degree range, moderate snow fall.
Arin Gokdemir it’s rarely 15 degrees in the dmv. More like in the upper 20s during parts of December-Feb but even that’s not on average. For most of February it’s probably around 40 during the daytime. The weather is pretty moderate besides the humidity during the summer

I know, it went from a quiet, sleepy village to concrete city.
Can you believe that’s just a small portion of Arlington. Crystal City/Pentagon City on the other side of Arlington is just as dense and beautiful.
it's not bad bad beautiful for this area is a little bit of a stretch.

The worst place to live. Super expensive and traffic not to mention the horrible weather. I lived there but i moved somewhere else.
It’s very crowded for a city its size but that is because of its proximity to DC. I would love to visit but not reside there.
