Yeah when Oreo (keyboards) adds the 3rd harmony on top its just so satisfying. FYI these 2 tracks and Nanmaida from your other reaction today all feature on the most recent album "W" which I highly recommend. They also have an EP coming out at the end of Feb - perhaps you could react to the single "BakuBaku" 💥💥

I've been to all but one of the Naon no Yaons since it was resurrected in 2008. It's an annual all-female rockers' fest that started in 1987 and has continued, on and off, since then. For most of its existence it has featured solo artists mainly or exclusively, but in recent years bands have been prominently featured, including GS. These two songs were 1st and 2nd in GS's set at NnY last year April. GS were the 3rd band up, their good friends Nemophila next and last of the bands.
A great feature of NnY is how the various band members are mixed and matched at the end of the 1st half for the Princess Princess (Pri Pri) medley, then in the 2nd half to back the solo artists. Angie was with vocalists Maiko Nomura of Lonesome Blue, Amane of Paradoxx, and Mayu of Nemo, among others, for the Pri Pri medley; Yuri was with Paradoxx's guitarist Maiko, among others, backing Anna Tsuchiya; and Tomo-zo and Saki of Nemophila were among the players backing Jill of Personz. Tomo-zo and Saki were having a blast.

Nice reaction to great video. I often don’t like the mixes from this festival, but here we get the rare chance to have TomoZo rip it Loud (her guitar is too often low in the mix. She shreds!). Yes that was her “scratchy” guitar, an effect she does via foot pedals.
Forgive me, I’m sure this translation isn’t 100%, but Naon no Yaon is somehow a play on words, something to the effect of Noisy Women Fest, which indirectly coincides with “Gacharic” also meaning noisy. The hostess is ShowYa’s singer who announced GS’s set here. It’s an all day-into-night festival, so while the 3000 seats were full, and some bands had played (it seems to be late afternoon here), they might have been pop groups, or reunions of Go-Gos style rock, and the crowd was still warming up. So first song after a set break, possibly first aggressive rock for the day, I love that they came out with these two fast rockers, and still the crowd was in unison within 90seconds. That first song they trimmed from 3.5mins down to 2, to squeeze the most into their set.
I love the ladies from this scene (GS, Hanabie, Nemophila, many more) utilizing the growls (“death voice” as they call it), but other ladies, mostly European, are still ahead in that game inho. I think of Arch Enemy. But Tatiana/Jinjer might take the cake for 3-4 quality voices in one. Then again, GS has Angie, Hana, & Oreo who can all do 3-4 voices as well!, just maybe not to Tati’s extreme.
Oh, and Angie is still only 21 here, despite being the lead singer over 4 years by then! Imagine being recruited for a signed band approaching their 10th anniversary, when they come up to you at your junior year’s fall talent show?!

Yeah, the show is held every year (think all female all-star festival). Reverse Psychology and The Come Up Chapter are really busy songs, which take quite a few listens to totally comprehend. Great reaction as always.
btw, as a starter, I give you the name of the pink haired singer: Angie (short for Angelina 1/3). Cheers :)

    Oh, the names TRM:
    F Chopper Koga - Bass
Hana (blue jacket) - Gt, dr, voc, aerophone, utensils, basically anything
    Oreo (Reona) - key, voc
    Yuki - dr
Tomo-Zo (puffy dresses) - gt, voc
Angie 1/3 - Voc and general hype
And if you like the harmonising here, you should hear them when they go acoustic. That is a sound for sore ears:

And Angie has grown as a vocalist:

Oh yeah, this pink-haired bundle of energy Angelina 1/3 (Angie) is quite special and can sing. And how she can! - By the way, the 1/3 in her name refers to being 1/3 Japanese, the other 2/3 being Spanish and Filipina - And not only is she a damn good singer, she always puts all her emotions into her performance.
You know by now that these ladies are very versatile and if you want to let Angie melt you just a little, I think the song 'Lonely Mart' should be the perfect next stop for you with Gacharic Spin. :) There are 2 recordings of it, both of which I recommend! One is live with the full band and the other is a studio recording with just Angie and Oreo on piano. And I tend to recommend the studio recording first and then the full live version. -> Studio Recording: ruclips.net/video/CGIQ1uCTIgA/видео.html / Official Live: ruclips.net/video/LoBpuyrF8oQ/видео.html

Naon&Yaon is an annual festival featuring only female bands. It's produced by Show-Ya. The grandmothers of the female rock/metal scene. Saki from Nemophila is also involved with the festival as well.
