I'm a little hesitant to name the children's author on whose work this play is based as one of her novels has been turned into an animated film by a rather big company, and when I posted a radio adaptation of that novel, the company in question struck it down within 24 hours. Not quite sure if they were being overzealous (I hadn't uploaded their film after all) or not but naturally I didn't argue. I can't see how they'd object to this one - which is a tale of wizards and witches - but I'm not taking any chances...

I believe it's based on a book that is part of a series of novels...
I hope you were at least informed why it had to be taken down. Depending on who has what rights to the various versions of the material, they were not able to stop the radio adaptation. I only now know the great extent to which the author's story was changed for the film and would very much like to hear that play. This one is quite fun.
I wasn't informed, and it was an automatic copyright strike... I wasn't inclined to try and argue, but perhaps I should have given that I've just discovered the play has been on somebody else's channel for well over a year. I don't necessarily want to take risks as a channel can be ended very easily so I won't try to repost it just now - but you can hear HMC by DWJ on a little channel called CALCIFER'S WOOD PILE - I'll link to it below...

Was that because of your geographic location? Sometimes youtube restrict videos in specific parts of the world due to the copyright on music tracks...
